Came to celebrate my son's 18th birthday. The staff was great. The food was great. The gentleman that served us when we first walked in was fantastic and he also waited on our table. He organised my cake with candles. I brought sparklers. He had everything organised before I even had to ask.

Having never been to this tavern before I have to say that the service was great. The barmaid even sorted out our membership so we could get a discount on our food, it was done very quickly and with a smile. The wait staff in the restaurant were very efficient and attentive and the steak was cooked just as we like it. Can't ask for more Beachmere well done you guys !!

The staff are all so lovely. The food was good, except the chicken wings, the sauce on them was cold, not warmed before putting on the hot wings. The chicken burger was huge, added bacon and it was too much, haha. Green and Gold Parmi was amazing, only complaint was it was put on my salad, I love a salad but it was wilted. Otherwise it was great.

I have been coming to this tavern for years with a large group of friends and until tonight, it was somewhere we regularly praised and recommended. That ends now.

Our group attended as usual and placed our food orders one after the other. What followed was nothing short of embarrassing for a venue that charges premium prices. Multiple meals arrived stone cold. When they were sent back, they were clearly microwaved and returned at an extreme, inedible temperature. For a $51 steak, this level of incompetence is unacceptable.

Two meals never arrived at all, even after 45 minutes, while the rest of the table was left with food that was cold and uneaten.

When speaking with staff and a manager who stated it was her first night, we were told she "couldn't help us" and that she would call another manager and take our details, despite us clearly stating we wanted the matter resolved that night before leaving the venue.

To make matters worse, staff attempted to shift blame onto the server, claiming he "didn't take the orders correctly." This is appalling management behaviour. A manager should never pass blame and should take responsibility for the entire team.

Ironically, the only positive part of the night was the male staff member who served us, he was polite, professional, and clearly not the problem.

This experience was a massive disappointment and has completely destroyed what was once a great reputation. We will not be returning and will not be recommending this venue to anyone. It's honestly shocking how quickly this place has gone downhill.

To top it off, instead of immediately offering a refund, we were first offered buy-one-get-one-free food vouchers, as if we would want to return after this experience. We refused and demanded a refund, which was eventually provided, but only after pushing for it, a final example of how poorly this situation was handled.

For anyone reading this review: the next best pub is hands down Big Fish Tavern, consistently great food and service, without the chaos.

80th birthday surprise party for my husband for 40 guests at The Courtyard and was handled so efficiently by 2 beautiful young Ladies, Eden and Bella. Did not meet the Events Managers that I thought I would be dealing with but these 2 Ladies worked themselves out on the floor for us while helping out in the other parts of the place too. Opted for the 2 course package with the alternate drop dish for each course and brought own cake for dessert. bar tab was managed with a ticket each for guests for either wine, beer or soft drinks with jugs of water on tables. Simplest balloon decor opted for as additional. The guests were raving about the beautiful rib steak dish as the best they've ever had, so kudos to the chef. Billing for the event was so smooth and transparent, all fair and accounted for. Celebrated a milestone minus the worry of cooking, serving and cleaning up.

Only improvement I'd recommend is soft music piped in to The Courtyard or access to similar equipment for speeches, dancing, etc. Still rating it 10/10. Thank you.
