I've been stopping in here for years every time I pass through, but I won't be back. The change under the new ownership is a disaster. Its hard to take the place seriously when the manager is frequently seen drinking at the bar herself instead of actually running the floor.
The service was terrible the lady behind the bar with glasses was downright rude. The food was also disgusting! It's clearly gone downhill and is way overpriced for the quality you get now. Nearly $30 for a meal that was crafted with zero care factor and bulk bought crap! (Chicken was close to cardboard)
There is also zero control over the anti-social behavior and fighting that happens in the middle of the pub making it a very uncomfortable and tense environment for travelers. It's a shame to see a legendary spot being run into the ground. Save your money and keep driving.

We came up on the train to kuranda and found this restaurant it was clean service great staff friendly food was fantastic and presented well and very tasty

Great food, chill vibes. This is a pub vibe so come here with bistro meal expectations and a relaxed experience, you\'ll be very pleased. Super friendly bartenders and chef.

Great food, but the smoking area ruins the atmosphere somewhat, will definitely be back to eat and drink again
