The 3-night stay was wonderful, clean and attenuative servicing. Historical rooms with a modern renovation, very comfortable.

Although I was disappointed with my evening dinner.
I ordered the scotch fillet (medium-rare) with sauce on the side; it took a while to come out but I\'m happy to wait...
When delivered, it had sauce spread ALL OVER the top, hiding the stake. It wasn\'t medium-rare but more on the done side, and it was definitely NOT a scotch fillet cut. This cut was much tougher than your scotch-fillet.
Apart from the meal, the hotel location is beautiful and staff were friendly.

Rooms are spot on. Spacious, clean and excellent appliances. One thing to note however is bathrooms are seperate from each room, with you having to share a bathroom with another room (most get more than one bathroom though). These are excellent quality and clean, and the noise from the pub downstairs is completely blocked out by the floorboards. Great location and easy to access. All rooms get access to a shared private balcony.

Very nice hotel. Beautifully renovated and reasonably priced accommodation. Exceeded my expectations. Had a 3 course meal for less than $30. Excellent food Friendly and charming environment. Best place to stay in the Barossa.

A nice country pub. Good options for food, I had a schnitzel, chips and vegetables. Everything was fresh, veggies were great, not your run of the mill selection, zi had cabbage, corn on cob, broccoli. It was really nice!

We have had meals here several times now and have enjoyed it every time. The meals are always very good. We particularly enjoy their 3-course special of a soup, main course and dessert (a set, varying menu for this one, but it has always been very nice and good value).
Staff are always polite and helpful. Located on the main street of Angaston, with extra parking behind.
Nice atmosphere in a clean and well-presented old-syle country hotel.
