Chicken wings were below average, so much unnecessary coating that made them impossible to eat.. But Shaz made my day with lovely customer service and a good chat! Thanks Shaz

The atmosphere and staff are great since they were bought out by Star- but the food is terrible. Please change your menu or your chefs! Every meal I have tried is just "average". I'm convinced your chefs mustn't try your food- it's 9 times out of 10 terrible. No chef would be proud to present that. I've had salmon that is clearly pre cooked, microwaved and slapped on a hot pan to crisp up as it's overcooked and still cold in the middle. I've had a "brisket" burger that was clearly also microwaved as it tasted worse that hospital meat and lacked any seasoning whatsoever. Also a massive section of un-rendered fat through it. Inedible.
Notified staff and got the standard "I don't care response" of sorry about that.
Pleeeeease look at your menu and improve! It could be a really great venue and you've put a lot of money into the renovations but the food is severely lacking.

Our steak sandwiches were cold and my daughter's 'special' burger was anything but special...
Go elsewhere is my advice.

Me and my families went to the Ashley hotel for dinner on Friday night the place was clean the staff was very friendly and helpful went out of there way to make you feel welcome. The food was so excellent. But the sizes of the meals so big and yummy. Definitely going back with friends and in-laws. Thanks guy and girls great pub with fantastic food.

This Place is Incredible!!! Everyone of the staff make your time so pleasant, they take care of your every need. The food is Beyond amazing, massive portions and cooked to perfection. In all my years I've never been to a venue that excels above and way beyond what you could expect at everything... They serve you food and drinks when playing gaming... everything you need they take care of. The food and drink offering has improved leaps and bounds in the last few months! Service is always good. Such a welcoming pub, we've noticed the small changes recently that have improved everything. Definitely our preferred local now.

Had our work end of year function here was great for large group or smaller one's. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Excellent on every level! Service is outstanding, meals of more than generous portions, and all meals delicious. Loved the calamari - seniors, the schnitzel my son had was soooo good and my husband had bangers and mash which he thoroughly enjoyed. Our first time here but we will be back for sure. The staff were very helpful. 😊

I previously wrote a negative review but have since been back and it was a very delightful experience. We took our three young kids and the food came out in 5 mins. This is a game changer for parents. The food was generous, kid friendly and they got a drink and ice cream included. Absolute deal! The menu had a great selection and the prices appeared much more reasonable. The food was generous and delicious, nothing too fancy, a great pub meal. It was busy, there was an atmosphere and it felt like how it used to be. It felt much more of a local family vibe rather than the previous impression that they were trying to kill the bistro and focused on the pokies as their main source of income. Definitely good to have our local back. I don't know what has changed behind the scenes but they have definitely turned it around. Well done and keep up the great work. Thank you. P.S please bring back the lunch specials menu and PLEASE set the kids area back up. It was great!

Nice clean venue. Smaller size pokie room. Friendly patrons and staff. Some of the pokie machines are way too loud.. even at the quietest setting. Otherwise not too bad.

We love this place!!!! It's our local pub and we feel so at home there. The staff are so friendly and the food and drinks are always great.

We have a 1.5 year old and the little kids package with crayons, stickers and a colouring book is a nice touch.

Prices are good too and being a member, we get a lot of deals here and there too which is awesome.

Only suggestion I would say re atmosphere is a kids area would make it from great to exceptional!! Lol! ;)

Overall it's a nice local, plenty of parking and friendly staff. The kitchen seems to have its moments but I've been back a few times and just relax if they are under pressure. The drivetru is handy also 😊

We are local and we absolutely love walking down and grabbing a nice lunch or a dinner (if we were lucky to get a table). Now after Covid it hasn't picked back up and it feels like they are deliberately trying to discourage business. The restaurant opening hours are inconsistent, the place has lost its buzz and unless you go for the pokies there isn't much else to the place. The bar used to be lively and even on a weekday lunch it was filled with tradies. The dinner service was always full and busy, the quiz nights filled the place too. It was just such a great place and super convenient for us living up the road. What's happened? We are gutted! Most places have recovered from covid, this place just has tumbleweeds running through it, why???? Bring back the $15 lunch specials too!

The staff and service were amazing with Mums 90th Birthday celebration on 15th April. They went over and above. Meals were lovely. They couldn't do enough for us and made it very special for Mum

Back yesterday with my partner to try and see if the meals had improved and boy oh boy, have they ever!! Beautiful food ??'?😊 my partner had a porterhouse steak and salad, and she said was one of the best steaks she had ever eaten. I had the Barramundi and it was spectacular.
The staff were extremely friendly and efficient and I especially liked the interaction and professionalism of the Head Chef and the Manager.
We will be back for sure.

I think this is a pub that is going in a forward direction. The staff was wonderful. Santino went out of his way to help us with our dining experience.. The chef chatted with us, and told us about his new menu. The staff are helpful and obliging.

Wow! The best Porter house steak I have ever had. Cooked to my liking, perfectly. A decent amount of salad, (yes, I like salad) and beautiful crisp chips. Happy friendly staff. Looking forward to next weekend and the Aspley hotel becoming our regular again

What has happened aspley hotel? Have been going here for 4 years plus. Always can't fault the food or staff. Today no different except the lunch menu, senior menu and roast of the day have all disappeared?? Cost us (a table of 3) $90 plus today, $30 more than 2 weeks ago (not including drinks). You have lost our business - how sad 😡

Great atmosphere, excellent service. We were served at the bar by freindly Jemma who introduced hubby & I to a new beverage that we now look forward too & also reminded us of our two for one voucher. Happy days ??'?🏾😍

Lamb shank was just what I wanted on a chilly evening. It was very tasty and I would definitely order this again.

We are regular diners here on the weekend. The lunch menu is great value as it includes a glass of beer, wine or soft drink.
The steaks are always cooked perfectly and the side salad is above average.
The staff are attentive and friendly.

Restaurant venue away from TV sports bar area lovely .Staff some friendly some appear bored but all courteous .Food not so good can make better at home .Coffee bland
