Had a lovely night with 4 friends. We all enjoyed our meals and were very impressed with the staff, prices and the atmosphere. We plan to come back soon.

I've been to this tavern several times for lunch and have always enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and the $15 lunch specials. It used to be a great spot for a casual meal.

I usually order the chilli pasta, which I've had on multiple visits and always found satisfying. However, my most recent experience was very disappointing. The portion size was noticeably smaller than before - it didn't even cover the base of the plate - and I was still hungry afterwards, which is unusual for me as I'm not a big eater.

I raised this with staff, explaining that I've been there many times and that the portion was significantly smaller than what I've previously received. Unfortunately, I was told that this is the standard lunch portion. That response was quite disappointing, especially given the inconsistency.

It's a shame, as I used to really enjoy coming here, but based on this experience, we won't be returning.

We went on steak night Thursday, and wow it was the best steak I've had as far as I can remember. Medium rare to perfection, amazing pepper sauce, chips were delish, and the salad was perfectly dressed. Highly recommend!!

Place was fantastic, great service and friendly staff. Food was fantastic with great sauces and salad to go our orders. Not a place I had thought of going but would happily return. There is a little kids play area out on the deck, good enough to entertain the kids and adults can watch and still eat.

Friendly staff, great service, lovely meals and atmosphere. We will be back.
