Had a lovely Father's Day lunch here. Perfectly cooked steak and great atmosphere and wonderful staff

We were visiting Agnes Water and asked one of the local shopkeepers where the best place was to celebrate a friend's birthday. They recommended Agnes Water Tavern, saying it had the best food in town, and they were absolutely right!

We definitely weren't disappointed. The meals were delicious, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere was fantastic. The outdoor entertaining area is a great spot to relax, and it was a bonus that the meat raffle was on while we were there, adding to the fun local vibe.

A great place for a meal with family and friends. We'll definitely be back next time we're in Agnes Water!

I have not been to the tavern since it was renovated. It was a bit sad to see the local personal touches gone, the relax out door grass sitting.. gone.
We had booked ahead for an outdoor table, however there was no body to welcome us or guide us to our table. Therefore we sat on bar stools outside.

We came for Tuesday $20 steak night, the atmosphere was very very loud and busy. Almost amplified due to the boxed in outdoor area. No live music, nothing.

We waited 55mins for our steaks which were reasonable but nothing to rave about. I am so glad we didn't pay full price. Although that was nothing compared to the $45 taxi fair each way which covered a 7min fair.

Sad to see the tavern become commercialised. Save your pennies for anges waters these days 😕

I had my 50th at the Tavern just recently! Danica helped me with booking, selecting my perfect spot, food ordering and pretty much everything! Communication was fantastic and the afternoon was beautiful!! Thank you Danica and Agnes Tavern! We can't wait to return!!

This is a modern tavern with lots of seating for diners and drinkers. There is a large area with windows and televisions - but if it is likely to rain the windows will be closed. The pork ribs had lots of sauce and were delicious. The staff are friendly and helpful. Well worth a visit.
