If you're after good food & service, you'll have to try this place. Tasty pizza, friendly staff, reasonably priced, great family restaurant with authentic Italian food. Will definitely be going back.

Recently celebrated mum and dad's 50th wedding anniversary with the family at the Abbruzzo club. Having been here many times, we were again very happy with the food and service. We were accommodated by being allowed upstairs to have photos taken. Thank you to Emilia and the lovely staff for helping make this important occasion a very happy one for mum and dad. Keep up the great work!

Please book only after reaching there. All photos are historical and you will be ripped off your money if you book in advance. There is nothing around for 15-20 km, even no humans. The restaurants is all closed and the property from outside is lile never been maintained since ages.

The main serve of spaghetti 🍝 was the size of an entree, a packet of pasta is $2. The size of the salad ???- was an absolute joke.
We're Italian 🇮🇹 we don't mind paying but give us a main serve

Disappointing! Focaccia was very nice, however main course was cold and the minimal vegetables not very appetizing and salty. Certainly not worth the money we paid. I would be reluctant to return.

I had a really lovely experience on the 29/12/23. My sister has been coming to this place for years and they were so beautiful and respectful. The food and drinks were incredible, the manager really looked after us.

Btw, last week I've booked for 2 people and when I've arrived we've been told that we could order only pizza and nothing else because of the function...
Sadly, I've been very disappointed about that! Nobody told me when I booked. I was willing to celebrate my bday with some arrosticini and other typical dishes from my region (Abruzzo)

Well here's proof that these google reviews are not accurate. Very disappointed, very limited menu with very expensive dessert. $14 for a cassata that was half the size of a standard one - just a major rip off! Waiter was constantly pushing extra dishes to make the extra buck so pretty annoyed. Won't be coming here again! Save your money and don't even bother.

I know It was a busy day on Father's day but the service was very bad. The wine took nearly an hour to come to the table after we had 2 dishes already. The waiter said they forgot and apologised. The portion size of dishes was different to the waiters description and She was rude when we told our feedback.

Lovey easygoing restaurant. Italian inspired dishes that are very tasty. YES, we had the brussel sprouts and loved them!!!

I ordered parmigiana di melanzane and it felt more like an appetizer rather than the main course I had anticipated. Additionally, what added to my disappointment was the fact that there were no side dishes provided, such as a salad, to complement the main dish and add some variety to the meal.

Not worth the hour wait for four pizzas.
They had one overworked pizza maker trying to cater to a large crowd.
Waiters to busy trying to look good instead of service.
And they have the gall to give them a five star review on Google.

Dined here for a quick mid week meal.
Pasta was nice but pizza was very soggy and tasteless.
Also ordered sparkling water which was cheap & hardly frizzy yet served in a San Pallegrino bottle for $10.

We had my Nonno's wake at the Abruzzo club and it was perfect. From the initial call ; the staff were lovely, informative, empathetic and provided all options for a great send off. The food was deliciously authentic and in abundance and everyone took some home. The personal touches of flowers and a candle was touching and I couldn't speak higher of the staff especially the manager.

Side note, we did have a guest who needed medical attention and they handled that with so much love and respect while maintaining professional protocol.

Thank you Abruzzo club 10/10. You made the day much easier and I appreciate it.

Great pizza 🍕 I personally 😋 love the Capricciosa... very cool 😎 staff... Luisa in particular... the guys ??'? are awesome as well... for a true Italian night 🌙 out.
Shame the kitchen closes 😕 at 9:30 otherwise it would be very similar to an authentic Italian restaurant 😉 😜

Absolutely stunning place! Amazing food and atmosphere

Dropped in to the Wander Inn for a quiet drink and a "small" grazing plate. Excellent range of local wines - the grazing plate had enough to feed an army. Great building that would be cozy in winter with wonderful shady outdoors for summer as well. Would recommend 😊

Flathead fish with fennel shavings and beans. Very tasty special of the day. We also enjoyed the porcini pizza.

We visited the pizzeria restaurant at the Abruzzo Club we had a great time the dishes were great the pizza the restaurant serves is the best amongst other dishes,the staff are very friendly but in my opinion the food took long to serve because there wasn't enough staff. Overall it was a great night and the delicious food speaks for itself.

I am a regular customer here..I like the food there and the price is very reasonable. Maybe I am a small eater. If I order an entree, At most I can only take up an extra two slices of their pizza. I find their pizza rather large (it is a good thing, so I can take the rest away without wasting any food). I think a little patience is required, considering everywhere is looking/fighting for workers during this time.

Such a terrible experience and to be honest not the first, I gave it the benefit of the doubt. I will never set foot in this disorganised place again. I will explain what happened.
We have a monthly gathering called "la spaghettata" it's an event for retirees they give a set menu spaghetti in tomatoe sauce and then antipasto with bread on the side all for $14 members and $15 non members.
Today as we sat down we were told( no notice or call for price change and menu change) we would not get antipasto and that we would only get a basic red sauce pasta , no antipasto and of course the price would be $15 members and $20 non members.
Just like that no notice of change whatsoever. You ruined everybody's day and I can truly say we and others will not be coming back. You have become overpriced and greedy. I give this place 2 out of 10.

27 people dined with a $2000 bill and 2 couldn't come because of Covid, we rang to inform but they still wanted to charge for the 2 absent even though no meal provided. Couldn't believe how petty and arrogant the young lady was. Meal wasn't that good to get that kind of treatment. Never again

I give this place a bare pass. The room itself is not inviting. It's a harshly lit barn of a place without much atmosphere. Service was lacking. The young woman who looked after us was friendly and helpful, but hopelessly overwhelmed. They needed two more people on the floor. Not her fault, but we had to constantly attract her attention. Food was reasonably priced but nothing to get excited about. Pizzas were OK, and my gnocchi was decent, but there's a lot better to be had nearby in the excellent pubs and smaller restaurants within a couple of ks. Some interesting Italian wines on the wine list with reasonable mark-ups. Overall, a C-. We won't be returning in a hurry, if at all.

The pizza Margherita was good but no the ravioli ( they were the special dish ).
I found a piece of plastic in my mouth while I was eating the tiramisù. They gave me another one but it was tasteless and very different from the first one and from my friends' tiramisù. Probably it was made a "few days ago". I didn't appreciate it.

SERVICE

The girl was very nice , the man not really! He changed my tiramisù but, even if there was a peace of plastic, he included it in the bill. Customer service to be a revised.

I don't recommend this place and I won't go again!

Very unassuming restaurant from the outside. But lovely welcome on entering. Lovely ambience. I sat outside and was served by a happy, friendly and efficient staff member.
Food was wonderful, coffee okay.

Great restaurant, Food is authentic, we all had vegetarian meals, the home made pasta with funghi melted in your mouth and the pizza was perfect. Getting hungry just thinking about it....

I have only been here once and will go again. The food was delicious. Great venue for groups and family events.

Was invited to a party there, every dish that was served was really nice and the service was good also. My only complaint is I never received my second drink that I ordered, but overall I was impressed.

It was such an amazing day, Luca was extremely professional, friendly and approachable he had an amazing attitude and willingness to accommodate everyone's requests and was extremely professional. He without a doubt made our 1st time experience enjoyable. He deserves to be acknowledged. On a side note I can't find anything on the website about lunch and dinner trade or is it just bookings. Thank you
