Great Golf Competition by Wynnum RSL Lub on Minnippi Golf & Range.

My granddaughter and I had separate serves of spaghetti Bolognese. As soon as it was on the table I could smell "fish", maybe anchovies in the sauce, which was bitter. I was unable to eat 90% of the food on the plate. I returned the uneaten portion to the service counter, told the person there the above, and he said he would tell the "chef", I pushed the plate to him and advised him I did not require replacement.

My granddaughter could not eat hers either.

A disappointing night.

Went for birthday coffee and cake which was very good. We haven't been out for a club type meal for quite some time, the meal prices were a bit high for us.

Just had a 250 medium rump steak chips and salad, absolutely outstanding and I could drink that mushroom sauce on its own... Thanks ❤️

We came here to support our friends, Fire and Rain. There's 18 of us that dominated the dance floor, so much fun.
The food is not our focus but we all ate something on the menu. It's average but can be improve.
The manager and staff are accomodating to our request.
There's lots of parking behind the building

Trying to keep this venue on the quiet. Short drive from Manly. Food quality is always very good and is great value. Had pork ribs tonight. $28.00 AU. Delicious. The best ribs I've ever had were at my regular visits to the Merchfelderhof Restaurant just outside Vienna, but these are pretty close. Service is fast. This is a club, so it has a club feel rather than an exclusive restaurant. I've been to Maxims and Tour Argent in Paris and can not be compared, but I must admit, I enjoy the unpretentiousness of the Wynnum rsl.

Absolutely amazing food and staff.. we didn't have a table booked and everything was reserved. The lady on the reception, I didn't get her name got a extra table brought down from upstairs for us... absolutely wonderful!!

Fish meal could have been a bit crisper but otherwise good, great coffee.

Unfortunately the lady that was manning the bar in the gaming lounge was a bit rude when serving drinks however the bistro staff were lovely!

Music was a bit inconsistent, it'd start loud and then go very quiet. Nearly inaudible.

Overall, it is a great place to eat and have a drink or three!

Honestly the absolute worst, went out tonight with my 6 year old daughter, the food was horrible to start with worst I've had in a long time, but what made it even worse was I left the table with my 6 year to take her to the toilet staff decided we must be finished our dinner and took our unfinished meals and drinks,we got back to our table to find nothing I said something and all we got was a apology and offered and free glass of coke, not impressed at all

After coming here for years was refused entry as i didn't have ID as someone who has been in hundreds of times very disappointed! Manager was apologetic, but old lady at counter was very rude and unreasonable!

We also attended a wake for my grandmother upstairs. (30/09/22). We purchased our drinks and the family had organised a spread of food. There was a slideshow of pictures of my family playing. It was very respectful and well done. Thank you.

Attended my grandfather's 90th birthday (6/1/23). We had two large tables, but they were a very snug fit, with relatives getting stuck between the chairs trying to get up to get food or go to the bathroom. The food was really lovely, and staff were awesome. The live music was really loud, but a highlight was when they sang happy birthday to my granddad and another guest. Also loved the bar staff line dancing behing the bar as well.

Would love to see a chicken pie and/or a smoked fish pie on the menu. I enjoyed the lamb shank pie, very tasty.
Also could they put the nasi goreng back on the menu please.

Very helpful and friendly staff running a small Bayside community RSL club.
Conveniently located near railway station, and has it's own good sized carpark.
With daily food specials and a reduced price for seniors meals this is a terrific club with various meeting rooms, memorabilia and a nice sized dance floor with regular entertainment.
There are also extra bars in the sports bar and the gaming room.

Would recommend the function areas upstairs for any event. My husband and I had our wedding reception here in June and the night was perfect! Alex (The Functions and Marketing Manger) is fantastic! She is very friendly, responds quickly and is great at what she does. We had multiple consultations with her throughout the planning process to go through all of the decorations, guests list, menus etc and she made everything very easy for us. On the night she was there from start to finish, making sure everything was going smoothly and helping out anywhere she could.

I attended the Havana Night on 22/05/21 I wanted enjoy some salsa music & dancing but unfortunately the band only played 2 salsa songs and the rest was modern cover songs. The band was still easy to listen and lot of people had a good time dancing.
After paying $35 per head the food was terrible not a vegetable or salad in sight. The food was cold I am diabetic therefore I couldn't eat the rice to fill me up I was given one small spoonful of beef stroganoff and one chicken kebab and one small desert. Also most people were unhappy but some have decided to never return to the Club. On a positive note the staff were lovely & friendly.

Great club. Menu is well crafted and small shareable plates make for a great way to try many different foods. Good bottled beer selection (no taps) and good atmosphere. Next time I'll probably get a burger, a buddy ordered one medium rare and they absolutely nailed it.
