I find the Woree Tavern to be a friendly and accommodating pub with lovely dedicated, professional staff, must make one particular mention of one of the assistant managers, Rachel, who goes above and beyond to ensure patrons needs are met promptly and diligently and most importantly with a smile!

We had a great experience here, Saphir is an absolutely phenomenal bartender! She is not only skilled at mixing drinks but also had a great personality and made our night out even more enjoyable. Her knowledge and recommendations were spot on. The service was top-notch and we will definitely be returning to see her again. Highly recommend!

Simoona is king Julian of bartenders in cairns, charismatic and fair (if you're Maurice or mort). Cheap jugs, awesome service. Chips were amazing can recommended.

We were staying nearby and stopped in for drink , the bar staff were very friendly, you could tell they enjoyed working there , the barman Sim was very welcoming . We had a couple of games of pool while there also . We definitely stop in again when in the area .

It's my local. Walking distance from home. Great bar crew an great service an open till very early morning. Can't go wrong here. Oh an a drive thru bottle shop that got everything reasonably priced an awesome lads that can read my mind when I pull up.

I have been going to this pub for 30 years. Every time i go it gets worse. Rude employees. Rude management. No food service. Nothing at all to go there for unless you want rude people giving you a hard time for complaining about bad service. Go to the balaclava hotel if you want a nice environment and they have food service. Shame on woolworths for the worst pub in australia
