Food was only warm when finally served. Bought a 2nd round of drinks whilst waiting. Won't return as one particular staff member was rude when I asked where a missing meal was & how long it would be til' it arrived.

The meals were delicious. Very good portions and extremely tasty. Prices were fair and the drinks were also well priced . I'll certainly be back .

Excellent value with the $18 every day menu specials. The quality & presentation were excellent & were quite large serves for hungry men after a day at the Commbank Stadiu

After a long day I was eagerly yearning a pub feed, drinks and kick back with some mates.

Located in the heart of Parramatta, Woolpack was an easy and convenient trek for a group of famished, young men.

Prepared to drop half my weekly salary on a feed and some drinks as I would on your typical Sydney pub, I was surprised to see extremely reasonably priced food and drinks.

Would definitely recommend the place to all. All that is missing is a large TV to be able to watch the weekend footy.

You don't even need to step foot into this awesome establishment to feel the vibe, buzz or hospitality of this gem in Parramatta. All beverages are tasty and really well priced .The bistro is pumping out moreish servings of yummy heaven or snacks that are to keep you sipping on your choice of beverage. I'm going back on a regular basis Hugh TVs to watch the local mighty Parramatta Eels play in the NRL. Gotta support the Local.... Go Parra!

It's not a bad little establishment. Nice interior, it looks like it's kept pretty clean and maintained. On tap beer selection is pretty stock standard, so don't be expecting anything exciting. Can't speak to the food as I didn't eat there, but the staff are pleasant, and I'd recommend it to drop in for a cheeky beer on any day of the week.

One of the oldest hotels in Parramatta & this place still delivers great service and atmosphere.
Ethan the head chef cooked our meals to perfection, we asked for medium rare and we received just that, just super delicious.
So delightfully full.
The bar staff are on the ball, Maggie is exceptional, super friendly and pulls a great beer.
Highly recommend this hotel.
I can't fault this place, even the manager came up and said hello.
Just a wonderful place to go for lunch.

The staff were friendly and accommodating and the meals were priced appropriately for a pub and were filling in fact compared to the restaurants nearby it was good value. Amazing new bistro opened up, serving up a solid Aussie pub feed. Defs worth a visit the meals did not disappoint :) The interior is quite nice and bright and staff are attentive. There's something for everyone.

Good atmosphere, good drink, I did get wrongly associated with a rowdy group and was turfed out wrongly, but it happens! Overall, great place!

Unpretentious little pub. Nice stop in on the walk back from Parramatta Stadium to the station. Reasonably priced beers and friendly staff. Pool table available too ($3 a game).

Went here for a work dinner and drinks. The food was fantastic for pub food with great variety .. the Mexican schnitzel was delicious! A definite recommend for a b it to eat and a drink if ever in Parramatta

It is a down to earth hotel. No fancy extras in decor, just plain and simple. I like it that way.

Best place before go to the Stadium. The staff are very attentive and patience. And the beer is always very well served.

Great t-bone steaks with thick chips and a salad. Reasonably priced aswell.

The bathroom doesn't have paper towel. I like to dry my hands with paper towel not the blower machine.

This place is useless when trying to organise events. The manager has no idea of customer service. He agreed verbally on how easy it would be for Woolpack hotel to host the event for our charity to help children with disabilities. Yet, after 1 week i sent him a personal email of the date and time and he said "sorry we are unable to host your event". Keep in mind this is after lockdown and restrictions have been lifted so there is not really an excuse. He also ignored all emails sent from me regarding this issue where i stated "why, is there any reason for this or any way we can resolve any issues so we can host it here". Yet, he refuses to answer emails.

It's great there are often pool tables in Australia. In France it was generally a counter and that was it. Made me appreciate what I had back home all the more!

I sat next to a women one night who won the grand jack pot, obviously she had workers coming back and forth all night seeing if she needed anything else another coffee ect.. i was ignored like i didnt exist i sat next to her all night until the pub closed not once did they ask me if i needed anything. I didnt know you had to win money to be acknowledged your there. The lady i was sitting next too noticed it aswell so she gave me $300 from her winning thanks lovely but i wont be back.

Standard drinks, reasonable prices, and the staff is friendly. The best part is the Thai restaurant in the back which is absolutely fantastic, and you can bring your bar drinks into the restaurant space.
