After reading both the reviews and the owner's responses for the pub, my husband and I popped in for dinner as we waited for our son to finish athletics at Homebush.
Well I can say it's well worth the time. Service really great, the staff are so friendly, approachable and the owner has enabled them with 'powers' to fix problems . Kat looked after us so beautifully, and managed to smooth over a problem with a clever solution.
The food was great! I had the fish special... so good.. my husband got the cheese burger.
Inside a bit noisy, but the outside was perfect!

Came here for a meal a few times. The meals have never been disappointing even when they're on special. The presentation was clean and tasted good, not your average pub food. Also, it's clean and not sticky.
Definitely worth a comeback.

The hotel and service was fine for what we paid. However our room reaked of cigarette smoke. The pokies area also smelled of smoke, which is fine. But the rooms themselves should be held to a better standard. Perhaps you should pick a different hotel if you're sensitive to smoke. We were fine with it for one night, but probably wouldn't book a room here again as a result.

This hidden gem is our favourite place to catch up with friends since we had the bub. It is wheelchair and stroller friendly so it's easy for people with kids to dine. Service and food is good. Price is reasonable and there is a great selection. Only complain I have from the recent trip is the burger wasn't as good as what we usually have, it was abit too dry. Otherwise, I'd highly recommend getting the fish of the day with mash.

Wow what a back flip this hotel has done. I rented one of their rooms first night ok then second night I go to work, So room service goes in and INSTEAD of doing the job in hand change towels, sheets and make the bed THEY GO THROUGH YOUR BELONGINGS LIKE THEY DID MINE.
They also have a genetic code that will override your code and open the door to the safe and also then close it and it will not effect your access code.
They opened it in front of my girlfriend and she did not give them the 4 digit pin.
NO PRIVACY AND THE STAFF CANT BE TRUSTED worst ever experience ever.

Good place to slap, eat amazing food and a good selection of drinks. Gone there a few times with work groups and personally, and I have absolutely never been disappointed. Does however get quite busy some non-week nights.

Driven past this place hundreds of times and finally stopped in to watch state of origin. Really nice venue, with an awesome outdoor area. The food was nice and there's a good range of draft beer/cider and wine available

Updating my review now with comments...first time coming to Bathurst to see Mt Panorama and hadnlunch at the wenty. Food was superb, the table staff and behind the counter were amazing, friendly, big smiles. They truly care about their clientele. Thank you for a memorable visit. Will be sure to stop in again!

Beyond disappointed with the accommodation. When we arrived we entered through the back, which was absolutely gorgeous. Outdoor dining area and playground looked amazing! Bar was lovely. We asked staff about the check in area and were sent to the [---] room..which looked nice,but smelt of cigarette smoke and an overpowering scent they'd tried to cover it up with. We were given our key and directions to our room. Customer service wasn't amazing..but good enough. Entered our room and were extremely disappointed. Immediately noticed how dirty it was. Stains on the floor,lots of marks on the walls,dirty windows,hand prints on the ceiling. Room was hot and could not turn air con on. Went to open the window,and noticed 2 active wasp nests on the window. The bed was surprisingly clean. Main draws were dirty and broken. Fridge and kettle could use a clean. Went to use the bathroom and it was disgusting. Floor was extremely slippery,I actually slipped walking to the toilet. Toilet seat literally fell off the toilet as I closed the lid. Absolutely filthy. And bathroom smelt awful. At that point after being there an hour,we decided we're rather drive the two hours home then stay. Absolute waste of money. I wasn't expecting five star accommodation,but I thought it would at the very least be clean and functional.

The boys and I regularly head here for a few beverages and nibbles after footy. The staff are super friendly and efficient. Can't complain about the food either, recommend as a great local place for any type of get togethers.

Food was recommended to us as amazing. We went there on a Thursday as the bistro opened for lunch was quiet at that time. Decor is cosy and overall bistro area clean and tidy.
We ordered a supreme pizza as a starter..but requested to add onion at any extra cost.Thats when matters esculated.
Girl who was taking orders was kind and courteous, could not find the "add onion" in the system. Told us she cant do it she will get help .Supervisor on duty come over , already seemed high level earlier she was talking quite rudely to her staff while we were ordering drinks.
After some back and forth about adding onion to a pizza she was not going to even try and ask the kitchen. She explained every item is at a different cost and her float wont add up at the end of the day So we offered to pay the highest added ingredient just to ensure no dramas for her later. Mentioned will pay $5 to add a few slivers of onion.Totally against our request she was Rude and condescending.We walked out without ordering anything on principle. management training and better customer service skills are needed for this shift supervisor. Will never return

Visited Wentworth hotel with my wife and 3 kids and everyone had a really good time.
Food is delicious and the kids play area is great. You can seat at the verandah and watch your kids play while you enjoy your meal.

My local. Am here at least once a week for dinner. Choice of indoor or outdoor seating. Clean. Prices slightly higher than they should be. Weekend surcharge. Small menu that doesn't change seasonally. Avoid the burgers. Good food friendly staff and nice venue.

Downstairs was lovely looking although I didn't experience that. I was staying overnight. When we finally got to our room, lady walks up the stairs while I took 2 huge heavy suitcases up myself and didn't even offer a hand. Whatever. Get in the room and you can tell it hadn't been cleaned properly. Debris all over the carpet. Spill marks down wall, stains on bedding, broken air con, spills in drawers and a very flimsy seeming door that didn't seem very secure but that's just the beginning... we had a shared bathroom which I'm fine with, but this shared bathroom was disgusting.. the edges of the doors where covered in caked dirt that had been there a long time from different peoples hands... the toilet lid was covered in caked dirt, splatters of bodily fluids and such all over walls ... went to have a quick shower...no hot water, floor was slimy, shower bath was caked in filth, caked dirt in all corners of floor and along the wall. Was absolutely disgusting in there... only thing kept clean was the sinks and mirror where you wash your hands...
Would not recommend! Rat traps all over the hallway upstairs (atleast they doing something about the rats but not a comfortable feeling knowing they have rats..)

If you are going for dinner or gambling area though, very nice looking but as I said, I didn't use anything downstairs. Just don't stay upstairs. It's absolutely feral and I wouldn't let my worst enemy stay there. Stayed in a lot of hotels with shared amenities and never seen anywhere this disgusting in my life. This place makes me sick...

We tend to have dinner here before NRL games at Accor Stadium. Really nice food. Good prices and big portions. Usually good to find parking and seats available.

Lovely downstairs, went too sign in for my room. Lady was incredibly rude. Thankfully another lady come and took over the booking who was really nice, got our keys to our room. Walked up stairs and was absolutely disgusted! Glasses in our room were filthy, room smelt like ciggerettes, everything was dusty like as if the room hadn't been touched for months! Bed wasn't made! And just too top things off there was a shared bathroom which was horrific, opened the vanity draws and there was rubbish, pots, pans, glasses, eye contacts, food rappers don't stay here!

We absolutely love this place and proud to call it "our local pub"! The food is great and we eagerly look forward to the monthly specials every month. Great place for a drink and is also kiddy friendly.

Great food, nice hot and fresh! Ordered an array of entrees and the lamb shank special with extra lamb shank. Really melts in your mouth! Decently priced across the menu. Food came out relatively quick also.
Service is really friendly!
Parking on-site is adequate.
Great outdoor kids play area.
Highly recommended.

It is for everyone who get impressed by the photos. There is no photos for accommodation that they have upstairs. Rooms are no good. Shared bathroom was just a public bathroom. I think they don't even clean it. It's just one star because you can't submit review with zero star but in actual it's zero star.

I hosted my child's birthday on a Sunday afternoon! The Wentworth was an amazing venue and all our guests had a wonderful time. The food and service was exceptional ensuring everything ran smoothly. The children played in the play area and had their face painted by their resident Sunday entertainer! It is a great atmosphere to get together, enjoy food and beverages and relax on a Sunday afternoon. The staff were friendly and efficient. Would recommend anyone wanting to host an event or get together with friends! I cannot fault their service or quality of food!

Comes from a bar staff called "Nat" when on 2 occasions she was abruptly rude for no reason. I get people have bad days however I do not think I will come here as often. The security people are very nice.

All seems good but the the security guard seems quite rude. Everything was going good but in the security guard face was not according their terms. I would give 0 star for security. Ruined the whole day. Never seen such bad security.

There food from the kitchen is absolutely amazing had the lamb shanks they were melt in your mouth magic. Staff a very friendly, the venue is amazing. The outdoor area is great for functions. Or even dinner with the kids

The atmosphere is easy going and welcoming. I'm aware that the renovation was completed a while back but what a difference The beer garden looks like a nice place to spend an afternoon or pleasant evening. It would be a bonus if the outdoor area was dog friendly
We all order the lamb shank and no wonder they were requested back after being removed from their menu for a while. Absolutely fall off the bone and can only be described as delicious ( I just wish that the chef may consider the option to order an additional shank )

Drink prices are good though I don't understand why there is a price difference between the smoking area and the main bar. The menu is a bit strangely structured and under the schnitzel section they offer different toppings but to us it wasn't clear what's a topping option and what's a main. When we asked if what we received is what we ordered as we expected something different, the waitress was having a bit of a snappy attitude. The schnitzel was also quite pink. Fish and Chips were good. Would return for drinks but not for the service.

Like this Pub, friendly staff who are focused on customer service. Food is good. Much better than H&J on same road

I have been going to this place for last two years, has been great and most of the staffs are very good until recently new security guard . He was very rude to me and my friend and it was only to us not for any others. So not sure it was because of our color. Last night we informed the manager on duty and didn't get any support, surprisingly manager asked us to leave because one of the staff is not happy with our presence . Never go there
