Went here the first time last night and it was a pleasant experience.

I ordered the beef parmi and a pepsi.

The food was great and the diane sauce tasted beautiful!

The atmosphere was great and the building was very spacious.

Recommended venue.

My sister and I have never been here before but thought we'd give it a go.
We haven't had a steak for so long so we thought we are gonna pay $40 each for a rump steak. We ordered a med-well done as we normally would when we do have steak and it was so tough and it was cooked well done - no pink whatsoever. We could not eat all of it, very disappointing especially trying this place for the first time and not having steak for a long time.

It has been a number of years since I've visited but a few weeks ago my partner decided we should try it out for dinner & we were not disappointed. We both felt like a simple dinner and ordered chicken parmi's with gravy on the side & I think it's the best parmi I've had in a long time.

The chicken was cooked perfectly with a nice crunch but still juicy inside, even the little burn edges added to the flavour. The rosemary chips were delicious and I was extremely happy with my pepper gravy. Thank you for being a place that actually knows how to make a proper gravy - it's very hard to find a venue that can.

I had mentioned in the online booking that we were there for a birthday - the little gift left on our table from the staff was so unexpected and greatly appreciated.

The price of food was higher than I was expecting it to be however after eating the food I can say it was worth it. We will be making sure to visit again soon to try other menu items.

Disappointed with the food. Salad Leaves were wilted and brown. The difference between the seniors meal and the main menu was the size of the plate. $11.00 difference same quantity. No bar tab. The only pub we've been in that doesn't. We chose a different place each week.

Dinner for 27 people for my sons 21st birthday, arrived at 5:45pm told we had 3 tables everyone arrived suddenly we had 2 tables and not enough for everyone to sit down, find out table was given to someone else, mean while people sitting at the table eating, ordered food via the pass waste of time , not only did the food come out late but the food was wrong for 7 people, staff had no idea what food they had, when finally my food came absolutely disgusting taste burnt wasn't edible, I missed out on dinner best part of this was my husband paid $50 for scotch fillet waited over an hour didn't come, I complained staff came over to tell us it was given to someone else, he didn't even get to eat, our night was spoilt, disappointed with lack of care, definitely not the greatest place anymore😤 why use the pass if your food comes out later than when you normally order, simply not good enough! Just there for lunch in the main bistro area. It was surprisingly very quiet with hardly anyone there and so service when ordering drinks and meals could have been more attentive. 2 of 3 main staff were "messing around" when we first got there but stopped fairly soon after. Nothing serious but still not a good look. Wife and I had the salt and pepper squid and our other guests shared a meatlovers pizza and some onion rings which were a bit oily. The pizza had plenty of topping and our salt and pepper squid was nice. No issue with the table service but like I said the bar service needs a bit of work especially when there was hardly anyone there. The whole complex is quite big as will be the new beer garden when it's finished. We'll be back. 3.7 Stars

There for lunch today 8/9/23. Customer service was good, new beer garden looks fantastic but my schnitzel, not so good. The parmigiana topping was over cooked and dried out. My wife had a plain schnitzel with gravy on the side and that was okay. The cooks need to take a bit more care......

Been here only a couple times and yet it never fails to disappoint. The food was really good, steak cooked to perfection, and the seasoning on the fries was something else 😍

Seriously the best place to go with your family. Today was our 3rd trip to Waterloo Station Hotel. On Sundays they have Kids entertainment which means we can sit and relax and eat/ drink while the kids have an absolute ball. We travel from the western suburbs to come here. It certainly won't be our last trip. Thanks guys!

Well this used to be a great pub, before Reno. Used to come regularly.
Tonight was not great. Made a booking for 6 pm for 3 of us. Arrived right at 6.
Sat down had a drink, which we got at bar, everyone else got table service.
Ordered entree and mains and waited, waited, waited....no entree forthcoming. Waiting staff didn't appear to know what they were doing. At one stage 15 plates lined up on the pass. One waitress did 2 laps of the dining room and was checking table numbers before she found the right table.
Saw food come back, probably because it was cold. After an hour we asked for our money back and went elsewhere. A lady asked me was I ok and used some excuse about Happy Hour, which finishes at 6. Maybe before seating people should be told it's up to an hours wait.
We were looking at venue for Grand daughters birthday but won't be having it here.
Poor service. Couldn't rate the food because we didn't get any.

Really enjoyed the lunch the wings were amazing and chips perfect. My son really enjoyed the play areas.

Absolutely amazing night! We had Torie look after us and from the start we could not fault a thing. Tori went above and beyond to deliver amazing personable service that maybe everyone feel welcomed.

The food was great and well priced! With all of our 22 guest complimenting their meals.

As an added bonus there was plenty of things for the kids to do. The facility includes a well kept playground and two sound proof kids play areas, that made a perfect addition for my nephews with autism to relax if they needed.

We will be back to enjoy more wonderful evenings.

The food here is absolutely sensational. Everyone in our group was happy with what they got, I had the steak and it was cooked perfectly.
The staff are super friendly, fun, and accommodating.
The only complaint we had was that it was too hot inside as well as in the smokers area. Otherwise this was a great place for a dinner out.

Really nice pub with nice food. Not busy when I went but plenty of room for everyone with the various areas. Play area for kids really good with 3 different sections, 2 inside and 1 outside. Great bar staff, helpful and friendly. Enjoyed my visit. Thumbs up ??'? for this pub.

The upgraded beer garden is awesome, a very nice addition. I had the grilled chicken burger and it was juicy and fresh, I liked the chips they had I slight lemon flavour.
My partner had the nachos and didn't like them, it was basically corn chips with diced tomato and red onion, no salsa and a very small amount of guacamole, we asked for extra, topped with a small amount of tasteless grilled cheese.
Besides that the service was good, staff had smiles and the overall atmosphere was good.

Spending time and money here is a waste. both overpriced and understaffed. There was only one person collecting drink and food orders, thus there was a line extending the length of the dining space. The chicken snitzels were firm, as if they had been prepared and kept heated in the oven before to being ordered. ordered a well-done surf and turf combo for $45. The rump steak was not 200g in size. At most, I'd say 100g. When I cut it open, it was medium rare and bleeding even though I had asked for it well done. ended up not eating it. Let the girl know, and when she informed the kitchen, no one cared. ultimately wrapped it up for the dogs.
Even though the renovations appear fantastic, they might want to spend money on a head chef who is concerned about the food's quality. They must raise the bar like when they first started, when the cuisine was excellent and the service was first-rate.

Can honestly say that the fried chicken burger was one of the best burgers I've ever had, the only thing that could have made it better (for me personally) is if it was spicy.

The chips were also hot and well seasoned with the perfect crisp.

Garlic bread was pretty good too

The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the steak was served a little bit cold if it was served hot then it would have been perfect.

We went on a Sunday night early about 5:30 so it's difficult to say what they're like when busy. Obviously we got our meals quickly and the service was great. The food is good not great but good enough.

Pretty decent eatery, the food is quite nice, I had the bbq ribs which was delicious, the staff are friendly and the menu has a pretty good range if options, the only reason I rate the place as 4 stars rather than 5 is a couple of the people I was dining with said their food could have been better, I have been a few times before and occasionally some food can come out a little dry but usually the food is pretty good.

Overall it's a nice location to have dinner with family or friends, I would recommend it for a quiet night out :)

Typical pub fare at this place with food ranging from schnitzel to seafood. The serves were of a good size and came out quickly after ordering, tasted fresh and service was friendly. The only downside was the pasta meal in which the pasta was under cooked. Worth checking out.

Usually a good experience however today at lunch time it was different. Food took a really long time to come put just for some burgers and schnitzels. The waitress was rude and unapologetic. The tables food was all served at different times. When a member of my table enquired about his food the waitress did not respond but grabbed it from the kitchen and almost threw it on the table. My friend thanked her and she still said nothing. Very unprofessional behaviour. Won't be bringing the group back any time soon.

Will definitely be back. Both ordered mixed grill and reckon it is the best mixed grill ever ordered. Prawns steak, chicken, sausage, all spiced to perfection.

Been here a few times, food is always exceptional, staff are very friendly and helpful. Always a go-to for friends and family functions! Can't go wrong at all.

First time back here in a while the interior has definitely changed a fair bit but it looks quite nice and the service is quite good only issue that I had was when ordering a milkshake from the drink bar instead of bringing it to the table which was right near it they took it to the main counter for someone else to bring over resulting in extra time waiting other than that food was tasty definitely recommend as a place to go to either as a family or just in general somewhere to eat will happily come back here again

Based on visit 30/03/2021:
I feel the place has greatly improved. The value for money is great. Meals came out very quick. Service was A1 from all staff, starting with the initial front of house staff who greeted us right through to the staff servicing our table. We ordered three kids meals which were around $5 each and generous serves. We ordered a couple of other larger meals and again, very generous for what we paid. I felt they may have had a change of chef as the quality of the food was excellent. One standout item is the pancakes which was a stack of 3 large fluffy pancakes with maple syrup, cut strawberries and icecream. Was great value for $5 on a giant plate.

Would definitely go back again based on tonight's visit.
