Great pub. Friendly, welcoming staff. Very accommodating as kitchen had just closed but they were happy to make us a meal. Lucky us as its one of the best schnitzel & chips I've had! Juicy & cooked to perfection & chips were crunchy. A must for a feed & cold drink as you drive through.

We have been stopping in here for years on our way through never been disappointed we stopped in I think it was the 3rd for lunch though this time was a terrible experience the middle age guy behind the bar, don't know where they got this joker from but he was falling asleep whilst pouring my beer no customer service skills what so ever, I didn't think anything could top this clown though than I came across the elderly lady behind the bar also 0 customer service skills Extremely Rude to the point we will never step foot inside this place again I don't what has happened to this what used to be a Awesome place to relax have a meal Gone to the Dog's now such a shame.

Food was disgusting!!!
Do not eat here!!
The short order Cooks excuse was they had had a busy lunch period.
We were served a shrivelled up plate of calamari , which was advertised as thick cut calamari on the menu , what a joke!!
And a Haluomi burger that looked like had been put together by an 5 year old.....
Being busy is never an excuse for the quality of each plate that is sent out!!!!
To top it off we waited for over 45 mins. for this slop !!!
Be warned!!!!

Got told was decent by a lady on the trail. Thought we'd give it a go. Bloke behind the bar was so unwelcoming and rude. Asked if there was any gluten free food as there was nothing marked on menu. He was so unhelpful replied the chips were. They weren't even cooked properly. Glasses and toilet was dirty also. Don't bother.

Extremely rude lady behind the counter. Upset two of our group. Back chatted to us in a rude and couldn't care less attitude. Even suggested we go eat elsewhere even though we had a booking in place for 14 for a friends birthday. It's a shame cause the other staff seem ok. I suggest giving this place a miss and heading towards the big motorbike and go to the Moo Cafe that has the friendliest of staff, lots of spacious outdoor eating (handy to keep an eye on your bikes) area and the inside is really nice too with some classic motorcycles on display. Awesome food too! Seriously don't waste your time with the Victory. Very very disappointing :(

After a fabulous day riding there and back on the new Northern Rivers Rail Trail on Thursday we were keen to enjoy a cool bevy at the Victory Hotel. Unfortunately because of the service received from a super rude and abrupt blonde lady behind the bar we won't be returning and can't recommend this pub. There was 1 other table in the bar area, but her annoyance at our presence and her unfriendly service makes me question how pubs survive.

A real classic Aussie pub
with grate food. good grog and grate staff.
the pub itself was built in the 1930s, after a lengthy court battle that Mr. moore won (the owner). having him call his new pub the victory.

so this pub is an old proud standing pub, and it really is a classic.

there are plenty of activities for kids, including a pool and tennis court.
a great little punters room and plenty of outdoor space.

it's not flash.
but that's why we love it.

To the Victory ?

We stopped here for lunch while riding the Tweed section of the Northern Rivers Rail Trail. This pub and beer garden is definitely rocking an 80s vibe, and is very busy with other day trippers. Our staff were friendly, but be aware that wait times for lunch tend to blow out. Located only a hundred or so meters off the trail, predict that this pub will become more popular as trail demand increases.

Uncooked food. Rude manager. Waiting 50 mins for food being the only customers in the pub and received food that we didn't order.
Would not recommend stopping here at all.

An absolute classic Aussie pub. Love the local country vibe. However it's a shame they serve below average food, unfortunately even our chips were bad. With a good chef, a fresh coat of paint and some friendly staff, this place could do really well!

Awesome Aussie Country style Pub. Food is good and hearty. Most of all the 2 Bar Ladies have always been helpful, courteous and particularly Lyn makes me feel like I am long time local. Her Service and smile and the feel of the Pub will keep me coming back.

Bar and service was great, lady behind the bar even helped carry our drinks to the table but really let down by the food unfortunately. It might have been just the day we went as another table near us had issues as well.
Pool for the kids is nice to be able to sit and watch them.
