Visited the hotel for dinner and ordered bruschetta that was burnt, port belly bites the size of your hand that were dry and uneatable and also ordered creamy garlic prawns and rice where the prawns were swimming in a watery sauce. Won't be back

The best little pub in the valley. The quality and size of the meals are what you would expect from a country pub ( huge ) and Top it off with a cold beer.

I'm a regular local visitor to the restaurant - very popular on Tuesday nights. Have not stayed in the accommodation.
Staff are friendly and keen to make their patrons happy (both in the bar & the restaurant). Fabulous outdoor/undercover area - check out the photos online. Needs a kids' playground.

Great, wide menu, plenty sitting space but book as gets very busy, generous sized meals bit on high side price wise, lovely rustic deco, great, smiling stuff. Had to wait for food for fair bit but was delicious.

Netty. Was. Here. There's a clear reason why this pub comes highly recommended. I have watched over the past few years the renovations, and the beer garden here is one that rivals even the very best of outdoor beer gardens.

Mid week lunch specials at $16 which is still very affordable especially when you realise they do an occasional deal with a x2 for price (like Tuesday nights 2x snittys for $15 ??) that's impressive.

Every Friday night there's live entertainment, and HELLO a pub here on. Sunday afternoon with Live Music! I love a good Sunday sesh!

Also in the area the Rodeo comes and goes but every last Sunday of the month there are local markets right next door. Why not go for a browse and then have a feed and beer or two afterwards.

I got the classic Chicken Snitty and it satisfied every corner of my belly! Just enough to fill up but not ridiculous it's wasteful!

I recommend you get here early before everyone else does otherwise call ahead to book a table. It's Wednesday lunch and this place is full!

The bistro is excellent and the food delicious.

Parking is never a problem either on the street or in the area beside the pub.

Well worth a drop in for a stop a refreshing drink and nice meal.

Lovely staff and food, unfortunately, they were fairly inflexible when it came to our reception. I'll still be dropping g by for the odd beer, though. Reception booked elsewhere and couldn't be happier.

It was very busy but the food was brought out in a timely fashion. Kids meals came out first, which was appreciated. Great serving sizes and great tasting food. Kids meals include a bowl of ice cream. There are not many inside tables, so I'd suggest making a reservation if you want to eat inside. The outdoor area is spacious, with a large undercover area decorated with huge chandeliers and tonight (Saturday) there was live music.

We went out for lunch, and found this beautiful pub, on the edge of Hinton. We had a look inside and bit, I'm glad I did ! The tables were spread out, the rooms were spacious, and they had a massive barn-style function room! It's just perfect.

This pub was suggested to us for dinner over others in the area, The service was great and the food was decent for a local pub. I had the creamy garlic prawns but it was a little flavourless and definitely needed some extra seasoning. Grace given to the fact that it was quite late on a Monday night so the chef was possibly ready to go home already.

Tuesday night special definitely not a special price. The chef knows how to cook a good schnitty that's for sure, but ... $20 for sauce??? I bought four schnitties and knew I had to pay extra for sauce, but surely $5 per schnitzel for sauce is excessive. Plus, I had to pay for a doggy bag container. What the... ?

Two basic style meals were fine.
Two people ordered pork knuckle and were bitterly disappointed.
No crackling (just chewy flesh) ,meat so dry you couldn't eat them.Waitress informed and totally disinterested she then spent rest of evening scowling at us from behind register,eventually compelled us to leave.Pity, we always strongly endorse supporting our local businesses but not with this kind of service.P.S. Bar staff were terrific .

I went to the bistro for dinner here and i ordered a sirloin steak with vegetables which cooked to perfection. I had Diane sauce with the steak which needed more Worcestershire. Then for dessert I had the sticky date pudding which was ok could of had more butterscotch sauce with it the ice cream was really nice but it got a bit confusing with the Wildberry compote. Next time I will ask to leave it off the plate. Staff where very nice. Bistro eating area was nice and clean I will be definitely be eating here again next time I'm in the area.

First time there and I will be back. The staff are fantastic and really goes out of there way to help. We were seated in the barn area it was excellent ??'? great work to the owner's and staff.

Arguably the worst, most disgusting meal my wife & I have ever had.
I had never had "Crispy Pork Nuckle" & thought - Why not
The tenderest part was the bone. The only reason the 'Crackling' was crisp is the meat was obviously cooked for a week & drier than the 'Crackling'.
My wife had "Atlantic Salmon" on s Salad base which included Iceberg lettuce & beetroot slices (freshly prepared from the can)..WOW. The Salmon SO DRY it had less moisture than canned Sandwich Salmon.
Never, ever again!

Beautifully located by the Paterson river the pub gives off a peaceful atmosphere.
The staff are very friendly and helpful.
A good selection of beers available and the food is first rate and modestly priced.
It's always a pleasure to visit.
