Service was average. Lots of ignoring the customer. Oysters were rubbish. Kids steak was like cardboard. My Mum enjoyed her grilled fish. I had the chicken parmy. Very dry. Couldn't be bothered going back to the counter to get salt and sauce. One of those places where you basically serve yourself all but the part where they take your money. Not cheap, but about average for these types of places. Kids' meals come with ice cream. Nice walk along the water while waiting for the meal.

[Supplementary. Note the owner's comment, which - in my view - is revealing of a lack of insight. An old saying about business structures comes to mind; a fish stinks from the head]

The V Wall Pavilion at Nambucca Heads has become a favorite dining spot for my partner and me. We never miss a chance to dine here when we're in the area. The food, particularly the seafood and hot chips, is consistently delicious, and the stunning views during sunset add an extra layer of charm.

Being just a stone's throw from the V Wall, the location is perfect for a relaxing meal. The drinks selection is great, and the staff, especially Sam, are incredibly accommodating. Highly recommend this place for a delightful meal with a view!

A spontaneous dinner here after a long drive from SE QLD. A very pleasant 10 min stroll along the water from our accommodation. A lovely table on the open terrace to enjoy the sun go down - just lovely. We ordered from the specials menu - my whiting served with chips and salad delicious and hubby's local reef snapper excellent. A few beers and wine - perfect! Service very friendly and efficient. Highly recommend.

Hubby and I loved this pub. Delicious meals, we had the cheesy bread and the flash fried calamari with delicious salad and slice watermelon . Very refreshing, great views, walk the v wall, watch the world go by with a cold drink. In Nambucca for a week, visited every day we enjoyed it so much. Highly recommend. ?

A tidy hotel with a dress circle location over looking the Nambucca River very close to the ocean which is close enough to hear the roar of the surf. A high standard of cleaning I evident from the bar, viewing lounge including toilets.
Food is 1st class and not expensive. The beer is cold and the staff are friendly and courteous.

Great place looking over the water. Very friendly staff and the bar staff even humoured me when I ordered a local and thought I was drinking a VB ?

Nice seafood, all local and very tasty. Here on final State of origin night and still good seating available.

Mains are a bit exe but I expect that from a pub located on the water during school holidays.

Definitely recommended ??'?

I love that the kitchen focuses on fresh local fish & seafood.

We were staying overnight not far away, and this place came highly recommended. A short easy walk.

We arrived on Friday night, and it was very busy. It didn't take long for it to quiet down. It appeared, the locals ate and then leave. So we enjoyed a relaxing meal.

We loved out beer battered Flathead and Flash fried jewfish. We shared the calamari entree. Very soft and tender!
The view during the day is spectacular! I would highly recommend this place for lunch.

We did find the meals a bit pricey. The queue to order your meal was long too. But was well worth it for fresh seafood.

The only other downside was the lack of tables as most were reserved that night. We found a seat eventually near the pool table.

Beautiful views with delicious food. I had beer battered red emperor and the fish was fresh and fell apart easily as it's meant to. Salad was colourful and tasty, and the chip's crunchy! Perfect!
Clean sunny open space and well worth a visit.

Fantastic food, amazing view, staff friendly, and the place is immaculate. Such an awesome place to have a meal. The kids loved the food and the Misso loved the dessert that much she bought 3 of them. Highly recommend a visit here. Cracking good cocktails as well.

What an awesome experience!
Wow that seafood tower ?presentation was very eye catching and every piece was brilliantly cooked and prepared.
Oysters were plump and fresh. Can't praise the food enough.
Looking around to other diners all the meals looked incredible.
Enough food with a couple of entrees to serve our group of 5.
Despite being very busy peak season, you felt like you had your own space.
The staff were very accommodating and nice.
The beer was cold.
Just an enjoyable experience.

The seafood plate was enormous, too much for one person, so I was happy to share. It was easy to swap out prawns due to allergy. Chips were unnecessary, which was fortunate because they weren't very nice. The schnitzel was a good size and nice. Service was pretty quick and reasonably friendly.

This place doesn't disappoint. Three visits over four days and the food and service were consistently outstanding. If seafood is your jam you are in for a real treat. Pair the food and wine with the views and you're hard pressed to find a better gastronomic experience on the Mid North Coast. No pics of our meals because they went too quickly.

Great chicken schnitzel. Crispy crumb and not oily. Salad dressing was nice and they had edible flowers for a nice touch. John Dory fish and chips were nice too. Batter nice and crisp.

Their chippies are the best one that we ever had . Outside is very crispy and stay like that for long time though inside is creamy melt in your mouth ( no ideas how could they cook it ). The menu has a good variety of dishes . The tiramisu and lime meringe with curd inside are excellence ( not too sweet, just perfect ) . Of course, dont forget the oysters that they are famous for.

Great food. Reasonably priced. I had the Snitty (Snitzel) surf and turf with prawns and Morton Bay bugs. So big a meal I couldn't finish it all!! My husband had the seafood taster. All good.

Great view. Food average pub style. Table service wasn't great. The best feature of the V Wall Tavern of course is the view and the opportunity for a lovely walk after your meal. It has an ice creamery attached for dessert.
