Notoriously trashy establishment.. which is expected but fun... when you feel safe. Unfortunately the "security guard"?(Allen's )interests were more about making drugos who like to bully girls more comfortable. Apart from that flop, the band was entertaining and inclusive with the audience and the bar staff were attentive and generally kind considering how busy they were.

Reasonably priced drinks and a great hotel vibe. The scheduled band for the night played CCR which the whole place enjoyed - - if you understood that, it's your kind of place.

Great pub , good food and friendly staff. If you are wanting to mingle with locals, watch the footy or the races it's definitely the place to go.

Too much attitude for a mediocre pub. Got interrogated by the doorman on the entry supported by careless staff and owner . Was told that people use it as a bathroom and leave. Well surprise surprise.
