Love my new local club. Just moved to the area and love the free courtesy bus as currently no car. Love the music and dancing and every meal has been tasty and amazing :)

This is a lovely big club with all facilities. Meals were nice.

Came for an early dinner on a Wednesday night. Our food arrived quickly delivered by 2 smiling waitresses. My tomato soup was the best I've ever tasted! The entree sized Calamari was superb too. My friend had a delicious roast lamb. Glad we came in early as the line to order became very long. I now know why!

Three of us, two in our 70's, visited it for lunch. The decor and outlook were excellent. We all chose a different stir-fry meal. Each came with a topping of raw cabbage/carrot which we didn't much like. I found my beef and noodle quite nice. But the sauce was very watery. All menu items were over $20 except for a small plate option. Steak topped at $42.
We finished off with coffee with lactose free alternatives.
My cousin is a frequent visitor there and stated it was poplar with the older demographic.
A good range of Poker Machines were visible from the dining area.area

In for lunch today, work thing, bistro 16 4 of us had the chicken Parmigiana chip/salad and one chicken schnitzel chip& salad good value big portions nice surrounds

Beautiful decor with plenty of tables. Accommodating staff ensure elderly are taken care of. Delicious food and drinks. Will go back again before leaving Australia. Lift for wheelchairs or walkers is easily accessible.

A great community venue. Offers so much as an outstanding bowls centre which host many tournaments. Their 3 eateries are popular and I love their cafe on the first level. The ladies are always busy there in the mornings making great coffees and with a lovely assortment of pastries freshly baked on the premises. Many community groups also hold meetings here and the service is friendly.

Loved the BBQ Pork Spare Ribs. Meat was very tender and a great BBQ sauce nit too sweet. Season the Slaw though, a little bland.

Nice food especially their desserts, we tried four different types of desserts and they were all nice. Also nice and polite receptionists and chefs.

From the word go all staff made me feel welcome. Very reasonable priced meals. Very cold water from bars. Bathrooms A+++++. Give them 2000 stars

So last night I decided to visit club tweed for dinner with a friend. The bar asked for my membership card and kept it when I went to order food the lady serving at the restaurant was extremely rude and unfriendly. I ordered 300gm rump steak with roast vegetables and potatoes they charged $25.50+ $4 for mushroom gravy and the food was served 20 minutes later. My steak was pre cooked and burnt to crisp for medium well done it tasted like old rubber and sweaty like the meat was cooked and kept in a warm hotpot and reheated. I was so disgusted with my dinner experience I never had been served food so badly burnt for such expensive price. Never ever I will go to club tweed ever again for dinner. Worst staff and worst food ever.

The food and restaurant staff were lovely and accommodating-
On the other hand the bar staff - lady with straight blond hair working at the bar near the pokies, was absolutely rude- we ordered jugs of lemon lime bitters no ice, and she had started to make the jugs up and added ice in them- I stated I paid and ordered the jugs with no ice and she stared at me and proceeded to say, ''well I can throw the ice out but your going to loose your bitters'' and just stares at me! ! absolutely rude considering it wasn't my mistake, and not what I ordered, she only had to add more bitters in which she didn't when she did throw the ice out- !! Then asks do I want lemon and lime slices.. well obviously if I'm ordering lemon lime bitters-
Overall her attitude and service was extremely poor and absolutely rude- not happy at all.
Was also the worse mix of lemon lime bitters I've ever had, might as well just ordered lemonade-

Had lunch there today. Good selection and service and the food was great as well. Couldn't fault the place, and the ladies toilets are magnificent....

Love the food and a great atmosphere. Brilliant place,it's a shame I live so far away or i would be a regular to the club.

The staff were friendly and helpful.
The indoor café had lots of nice foods to select and we tried a selection which were all delicious. The coffee was warmish (not hot as I had ordered) but since I was with a lot of oldies this was probably a safety reason.
The layout of the club was generous in size so we didn't have to squeeze between seats. There were lots of different themes indoors and outdoors.
A spot to retreat to hot or cold.

As a group of friends we decided to have lunch at the Tweed Heads Bowls Club. We had reserved a table for 14. Everyone had something different. Service was good and friendly. I had the grilled barramundi with salad. The fish just melted in your mouth. Some had Roast Pork or Beef. The portions were generous.

They were open...the kitchen stayed open for us. Had crumbed veal schnitzel...not as good as mine...but still tasty. The owners specialty is coming in and adding interior kitsch to the kitschy stuff already their. The foods good..

The bowls club is alright. Wouldnt go back here again but its okay. The food was reasonably priced but it wasnt very good. The steaks are tough and the salad is a folded up bit of lettuce, 2 Roma tomatoes, shredded carrot and a sprig of parsley. They have a small range of non-alcoholic drinks as well. All in all just your average bowls club, Ive been to better but Ive also been to worse.

Love both the meals and my only social life, the Bingo. Wish Bingo could be held on more days of each week. Best Club in the area with great staff.

We had dinner for the first time tonight at Bistro 16. The Tweed Heads Bowls club is huge and we didnt know what to expect. It was nice and quiet due to the rain. The service was amazing, we were greeted by a lovely lady, Heather, who explained how to order and showed us the menu. The food came out quickly, was very generous in size and you can take any left overs with you so no waste. Heather was attentive and friendly, her customer service should be recognised and praised. Made our 3 year old daughter feel welcome and our dining experience really enjoyable. Well definitely be back again when were down in the Northern Rivers again. Thank you

Great place to relax over a meal with friends

Very impressive club. Meals are served quickly and the staff are attentive and friendly.Pity the cafe wasn't as quick, I gave up waiting to be served even though i was only 3rd in the queue. Man they were slow.
