Well had dinner here, the food and overall service and experience was fantastic and what would you expect in a great hotel.
There was something trivial - missing sauce - for one of the meals, it was addressed and fixed immediately with no drama.
If I'm in Tamworth again, I'll definitely be stopping by.

Went in to hear some music at the Tamworth Country Music Festival and stayed for lunch. Great music on different levels. Meal was generous, fresh and really good despite getting our order of sauces mucked up but disappointed with the very dirty cutlery. Stayed on to hear the 'West Texas Crude' who were awesome & made up for everything!

My husband and I ordered the garlic prawns in the entree section to share just for starters. It was$24 so figured it'd be ok. Well guys... you get 3 prawns for $24 ? oh and a pretty little stack of green decor in the middle. Not another thing on the plate.
Needless to say my husband and I loved our 1 1/2 prawns each ?

The Tudor hotel is a great place for functions. We recently had our work Christmas party here. Theres heaps of great areas across a few levels. They looked after our group perfectly. Great food offerings and awesome service.
I'd highly recommend this place for your next function, you won't be disappointed

We stopped here 5 months ago at the start of a van life trip and ended up coming back to Tamworth for this steak. Absolutely cooked perfectly. I chose the beranaise sauce this time and was delighted with it, complemented the fresh vegetables. Highly recommend

When I'm coming Tamworth I always visit Tudor hotel for drinks and food at night. I don't have opinion for rooms etc. I can say only for the bar downstairs. Really busy and enjoyable place with good food and friendly team... I recommend it 110%

Rooftop Bar & dinning. Excellent service & food. Nice area with the heaters on & a view over town.

The meals were reasonable however despite having just updated the menu, there were no vegetarian options which seems strange in this day & age. We made to feel very uncomfortable towards the end of our meal as the staff made it very obvious that they wanted to close up & go home. It wasn't even 9pm so it's not like we were pushing the boundaries.

We hired the rooftop for a family event and could not be happier with the service, facilities and food provided by the team at the Tudor Hotel.

Had a great afternoon, certainly recommend.

Went in for karaoke waited 2 hours for my song while others sung multiple songs. I asked the person running it about why I hadn't been called out and was told to buy them a drink to speed it up. Otherwise a great place for a few drinks with friends the staff are great and it's a good atmosphere.

Lovely little place. Great food ! Good service . My favourite spot to catch up for lunch with my friends and family.

We didn't stay here but had drinks and watched live music. Highly recommend a a live music venue. Drinks were priced the same as all the other local establishments. Friendly staff. Relatively clean given how busy it was.

Visited on last Friday of Country music around opening time.. Good pub but very small at street level.. Service was fast and freindly and they had a good band on. Room to move but the place started filling up fast. Walked past it the following afternoon and it was busting at te seams.. Worth a visit but not during peak times when Festival is on

Great place - live music on 3 floors at the time! Good vibe - Great spot - sick of Plastic cups for Spirit mix when Beer is in a Glass ... but that's everywhere! ( Covid hangover) check it out!!

One of the worst dining experiences we've ever had in Australia. Started badly when we arrived for dinner in the level 1 restaurant and were the only one there. We sat at a window table and were told that the lights don't work and when the sun went down would be sitting in the dark. Unsure if they've heard of an electrician or change a light globe!! We then moved to another table in the bar area- table pretty much busted as was rocking all over the shop. We were starving so couldn't be bothered moving again. Went to the bar to order a Chardonnay from the 9x whites. Of course didn't have what we wanted in stock - only had 2x choices being the house wine or most expensive. For food what a shambles. Spring Rolls came out frozen in the middle had to send them back. The crab pasta was just edible and the ceaser salad a joke. Bacon pieces and croutons straight from a packet- and sauce hardly existent- straight up woeful. To top of the horrendous experience was the awful attitude of the young female waitress- no interest in being there and just wanted to finish. Very disappointed and won't be back anytime soon.

Visited with friends last night for dinner and wouldn't bother going again. Young female bar staff member was so sullen and clearly she didn't want to be helpful. I ordered an entree of salt and pepper squid and a main of chicken shnitzel with creamy mash and vegetables which was basic fare and barely hot but nothing special. The calamari was soggy and in big thick chunks and unlike any calamari I've had before.The female staff member wanted to know if I wanted the entree before the main, and smirked when I explained that's what an entree was. My friend tried to help her by putting a straw in the water glass and the girl told her not to lean over the bar, which she had not done, so rude.A disappointing evening.

Had lunch today at the Tudor. Food was great and shout out to Shona - best service ever - polite and friendly, asked if we were comfortable in front of the air conditioner, came over and wiped our table after our drinks spilt a little when we sat them down. What a legend - 5 star service - would definitely recommend!

Was really impressed with the food quality and prices. Definitely would return for a meal.
Bar staff were friendly enough. Wait times for bar service was next to none (mid week)

Dropped by for a meal... 50 minutes later...for a burger and a medium steak. Burger was dry. Steak barely edible and couldnt be finished.
Like our meal sat under the heat lamp for 30 minutes before it was served up.

Love, love, love this place. Floors of food and drinks. Our party of 15 were on the roof top. Would give 4 stars except the drink selection on top floor limited.
Went down to ground floor for fabulous live music. Bar staff were friendly and efficient. Security guy was on the job, always smiling. If I lived in Tamworth, this would be my local. My chicken snitzel was very yummy.

Had a quick lunch today and really enjoyed it. We sat up the rooftop after staff suggested it. We didn't even know you could do that. Both the staff on today were extremely friendly and welcoming. I had the pumpkin salad with grilled chicken it was very tasty. My partner had a schnitty it was a $15 special and he enjoyed it. We will definately return and enjoy again on a lovely winters day

Nice quick meal after a long drive , great service in a nice atmosphere and bang smack in the middle of town .

Need gluten-free meal/side options. You had sweet potato chips, now only chips. Slipping behind other pubs in town with full Gluten/vegan menu's. Won't be back till more options.

What I ordered: 250GM Jacks creek rump steak (rear medium) with chips and salad as sides along with pepper sauce.

What I get: Steak burnt from the sides to the extent that it tasted bitter from the burns. To my disbelief the salad was a rafrigerated garden salad bag bought off the supermarket shelf.

Service was fine.
I am the person who won't complain about food right there as i would not want to mess with people who are handling my food so i just gives it all in reviews.

Visiting Tamworth as I have family in the hospital, I had the sniity, chips and salad, very generous size and the Bearnaise sauce was the best I've had!! Warm and welcoming.

Nice little joint in the middle of town. Friendly service along with great food. My partner had a lovely pasta which beat a lot of dishes we have had in Italian restaurants. My Beef and Bird burger was the first time I have had chicken and beef in the same dish, but it was really good

Pleasant and conveniently located pub. The facilities are up to date, the menu is simple but reasonably priced and the quality of the food is better than average. Somewhere to take out of town visitors and not be disappointed!
