We recently visited Trios for a family birthday celebration and were impressed by the food and service - both were genuinely fantastic. The meals were delicious, and the staff serving us at the table were attentive and friendly, making the initial experience very enjoyable.

However, our experience took an unfortunate turn when I stepped outside to the designated smoking area for a quick vape, with my daughter unknowingly following me a short time later. Fully understanding the restrictions around the gaming area, I was in the process of gently leading her back to our table when a staff member abruptly stormed outside and yelled at us for her presence. The situation escalated unnecessarily, leaving my daughter visibly upset, and despite us acknowledging our error, the staff member's tone and attitude remained harsh and unprofessional. Instead of handling the matter with discretion, they continued to usher us out with a smug attitude.

When my mother approached the staff member to discuss the matter, they claimed they had been watching us on the camera for some time, which was unsettling. Given how long we waited for a drink earlier, perhaps their focus on "surveillance" could be better balanced with customer service.

In summary, Trios offers great food and table service, but we found the approach to customer interactions in this instance disappointing. If you're comfortable with a few extra sets of eyes, you'll enjoy the food and ambiance, but be prepared for an uncompromising approach from certain staff members.

I have always had good meals from Trios, and then the other day I had Thai Chicken Soup followed by the Chef's Special of Pork Rib Eye. Oh my gosh the flavours of both dishes were divine. I can't wait to go back and hopefully have both of these again.

A large group of us went here a few months ago and there was nothing but praise all round. Went there today table of four ladies. Two ordered the seniors risotto and were very disappointed, it was gluggy and like glue at the same time it was dry as. I had the spicy beef noodles at $32.50 was appalling for the price, I think I found 3 strips of beef and vegetables were no where to be found. My mother had the smash burger and chips, also $30+. A handful of refried chips and the burger had sliced meat that was drier than the chips. Never again, total of the bill was over $100 for seriously average/poor food.

Very good meals chicken palma and salmon both good. Only criticism would be that after being shown to table it would of been nice if told where to order food, get drinks and where water station was located. Nothing drastic but would of been nice. Will be back

Out of 6 of us 5 meals were great. One was average or just below. When you order a pork Parma with pulled pork on top we expected to see a small pile of it on top . It was $10 dearer.
But In saying that the rest of the meals were spot on. Service was great. Enjoyed it.

We as a family celebrated my sister's birthday 🎂 🥳 🎉 recently at The Furlong Room in Cranbourne a few days ago. Fairly quick table service, there was 6 of us, only 2 of us had to wait on our meals, and it wasn't that long. All main meals were served hot and quite tasty. This Trio's Sport's Bar offers Free Membership as well. So I joined up on the day and got my Membership Card from the Receptionist on the day, which was handy. All up my family enjoyed the meals and might I say, very attentive Bar staff. Thanks again, hope to dine there again soon.

Trios Sports Club is without doubt the best Sports club I have ever been to in Victoria. For those who don't know Trios is situated at the Cranbourne racing complex, which consists of horse, harness and greyhound racing. Now for the club itself it is outstanding. It has many areas within catering for dining, gaming and a sports bar to die for. My friends and I were in the sports bar for the harness meeting June 2nd and we had a great night. The staff were friendly and helpful, the food was excellent and the outdoor area for viewing the races made things even better. I would highly recommend Trios if you are stopping over or just travelling through. Grant Street Cranbourne.

Lovely food, thank you. Did find, as with a number of hospitality establishments, that the customer service from the girl taking food orders needed some work.
However, the chef made a point of saying goodbye and thanking us for coming. This was greatly appreciated.

Food was amazing!! Got the steak perfectly cooked absolutely 🤩 fresh steamed Veges and chips. My partner got the Parma.

Came here for father's Day and while it was busy, we didn't have to wait to long for our food. Our meals were delicious 😋. ( personally one of the best steaks I've ever had! ) keep up the great work guys ♥️

Came here for dinner with a large group of kids and adults. They managed to sit us in a good spot - close to the bar and not too far from the toilets. Because we were a large group they tried to serve all our meals altogether so we can all enjoy eating at the same time and they managed to do it very well. Half of the group ordered steak and they came out cooked to our liking. Plenty of parking available too.

Had not been at this bistro is such a long time. We were really impressed with the menu, taste price and all the service. We returned again 2 days later and we were equally impressed with all they offered. Highly recommend and l will be going again soon

Front of house was well run, meals come out within a reasonable time, especially considering it was Saturday and quite busy.I had garlic cheese bread expectable 3 stars,side of garden salad nice and fresh tasty dressing 4 star, had the marinara fettuccine very tasty but far too big I don't like waste 4 star, finished off with a cappuccino 4 star overall not bad for a pub style meals 😊

Absolutely fantastic place to dine! Staff were so friendly and service was awesome. Food is absolutely wonderful! Portions are very decent and filling and the churros are a must try! Will definitely be coming back real soon!

Trios is and always has been a fantastic venue for lunch over the years I have been several times, and the food has been so nice that l have forgotten to take a photo on each occasion. I have been with private groups and with a group that brings me to the restaurant by bus.. and l can't really remember anything left on any plate..

Rang up to book a table for dinner at lunch time, the girl on the phone took my booking, when we arrived NO Booking??? Ordered our meal ,an hour later still NO meal (we were told that the order never went thru to the kitchen) i will give credit to the young lady who was the Supervisor as she apologised and gave us another round of drinks on the house. Food was quite nice. JUST SOME hiccups on the night!!!!!! Not sure that I would go back.

Trios is still a nice place to dine but I'm not sure if the previous chef is gone ? I Went this Sunday for lunch to have a Seniors meal as always but this time the food was a bit cold and bland in taste and received a very small portion. Previously the food was hot and generously portioned. I will give it another chance, if there is no improvement I will not come back.

Beautiful place to have lunch and look over the race track.
The service was friendly and they kept things clean. The food was delicious for the others meals. Unfortunately for me the last two times I have tried to step out of the ordinary and order something different. Although these meals were very well presented and cooked. The flavours for me wasn't sitting right.
The Parma and Kids nuggets were a hit.

Service was OK, venue was nice with a good outlook and well maintained. Several rooms, too, which aids in reducing noise levels.
Meat (ribs) were very well cooked. The sauce, though, was a miserable disappointment. Almost like they had run out of the real sauce so just put a bland gravy on instead.

We had an end of year Christmas party at the Cranbourne Racetrack in the champions room.. After the last race on a Saturday evening about 10.30pm we were advised to visit Trios Sports Club only 100m away on foot. Its a glorified pokies bar with a pub... There was 15-20 of us, men and women aged 35-50, nobody was drunk or rude.

We were told by the security bouncers at the door that Because we had just come from the racetrack we were not welcome to come inside and this was a management decision and rule. Pretty pathetic considering we were in Cranbourne and secondly its a pokies bar not a nightclub in Chapel Street. So they missed out on our business and money and pretty sure no one will ever go to this poor excuse for a pub any time soon.

Found Zagames a short drive away were more than welcoming and didn't care where we'd been. To the management at Trios.. your actions were discriminatory and dumb, you have no idea on business ethics and your security bouncers are just as ignorant. Trios you should be ashamed of yourselves!?!

Ordered 9 parmas, 6 of them came out completely raw. Lost my appetite
Although they offered us all new parmas and free desserts. I just had chips for dinner lol

Been a few times now, always enjoyed the food. Typical pub/bistro menu with specials. Generous servings and reasonably priced. Usually pretty full so I would advise booking your table.

Meals are always good. Nice steak and the chicken scallopini was lovely. Just a bit cold sitting next to the window.

The meals are great. I have eaten there more than once and the food has always been really good and definitely worth a try. Staff more than helpful and very pleasant, great value for money with the seniors specials.

Thay say you get what you pay for. Seniors meal average.may be look at the menu. The place is clean and tidy .staff friendly.

Love this place. Is a great place to get together for a drink and or a chat. Also the staff is always polite and have a smile!

Trio were unable to accommodate dietary needs to any substance. When i paid for a Salad they brought out a bowl of rocket (late).All staff where content in their job however lacked any customer service, the manager was approached to fix the problem on the third occurance, to which he did promptly howevwr this was 40 min after the rest of the group had eaten.

We went for a quick lunch. Very friendly staff. Food was good, thought a little expensive for lunch but do understand overheads and staff wages etc. We didnt see a lunch special menu but may have had one. Anyway a great view from windows overlooking race track.

I would thoroughly recommend visiting this place for a meal. Senior meals are huge. Great value for the price. Suggest you don't eat before getting to the venue. All the hostesses were very charming and Shirley seeing that I was struggling with my meal, offered me a doggy bag. I will return, for sure.

Delicious food. Reasonable prices. Friendly and professional service. Clean bathrooms. Plenty of parking available. Just a bit noisy (rainy day and school holiday excuses to be out at lunch).
