We visited the Trinity on our way home for a quick drink one Tuesday and ended up having a special $20 burger and a drink as well has listening the pubs quiz that night.

Absolutely gorgeous pub in Surry Hills. Love the upstairs atmosphere and decoration with cheap drinks to boot!! A go to spot in surrys right on the light rail line.

Surprisingly huge pub/restaurant space serving up great typical Aussie meals at reasonable prices in absolutely gorgeous interiors!
STAFF: Down to earth, great attention to detail, appreciative of vegan, vegetarian and gluten free needs. Where dietary alternatives weren't possible, they came up with other options and explained why.
FOOD: Think nachos, salads, burgers, roast dinners, risotto, pasta's etc. Super fresh and of a good quality.
Prices range from around $12-45.
AMBIENCE: A very well decorated homely local. Downstairs is pub-like, with ample TV's showing the latest news/sports etc. Upstairs is classy, plants and gorgeous lights hanging from the ceilings... Think: french/Hampton's style meets comfy rustic.
Definitely a winner for large group gatherings/parties etc.
ACCESSIBILITY: Wheelchair, prams and dog friendly downstairs, especially in their outdoor area. Lift access to upstairs. Bathrooms are also wheelchair/walker accessible. Some street parking available a few minutes walk away, otherwise they're right alongside the tram and bus routes, 5 minutes from Central train station.
OVERALL: Highly recommend. Will be back with my friends.

Great place for a night out, we went from 4 until closing (midnight) on a Thursday and the staff were friendly and helpful the entire time. Nice cocktail bar upstairs and the bar food is fast and good. Plus next to the light rail so can't go wrong ??'?

We were looking for a Sunday roast and The Trinity certainly delivered. Succulent and tender roast pork with all the trimmings. Generous portion and great value at $25 bucks. We also had the hearty beef and Guinness pie with mash and peas. Tender chunks of beef covered in golden pastry topped with mash and peas. This is great winter pub food and we topped it off with an excellent Bloody Mary. We will be back. Sunday's just got a whole lot better!

Plenty of tap beer options. Friendly and efficient service. Had chips & edamame and both were good.

Came here for a meal before catching a game at Moore Park. The food is great, although a little over priced for the serving size. It was busy at the time so it was also a bit slow to come out. I ordered the parmigiana which was delicious and filling.

They have plenty of TV screens playing all different kinds of sports. The staff are friendly and attentive, and more than willing to put whichever live sport you'd like to watch on the screens if it isn't already.

I can definitely see myself coming back.

So so. I hadn't been for a few years and it appears to have lost its charm a bit. I sat downstairs and it just felt like a fairly empty pub with a bunch of TVs showing the footy and really loud commentary.

I had a pie which came out in about 5 minutes which suggests it was pre made and just warmed up (and wasn't very hot). The rest of the menu was just standard pub food.

Guinness tasted good but that's all I had.

Staff were friendly and attentive and the upstairs area (where the toilets are) looked really nice and probably good in the evening.

Good pub with lots of food and drinks options for everyone. Looks, feels and is the sort of place where you could spend a whole afternoon with your mates

The food and drinks were average but the venue is a nice place with beautiful decor to sit down with friends. We had the Sunday roast for $24 which were a generous portion and overall tasted ok. If I was to be particular, the Pork belly didn't have a crispy skin (and pretty fat on the inside), the beef roast was a little dry on the inside and the Yorkshire pudding was a bit dense. We were feeling curious and tried the watermelon sangria which tasted a bit strange, maybe next time will stick with the usual pub beers. Service was friendly and overall I would say still a good experience.

Took 45 minutes for them to bring out the wrong order and then once corrected, what arrived tasted like they had poured vegetables out of a bag from the supermarket and microwaved a dismal offering of halloumi. Not a glimpse of seasoning or flavour to be found. $22.

The Trinity id hands-down one of the best pubs in Sydney. The food is always good: love the chicken parmi and the steak, oh the hamburgers are delicious as well. I've been a faithful customer back since 2011, the Trinity never disappoints!

This pub has one of the best locations in Sydney for people watching, it also makes one of the best steak and chips in Sydney with a pepper sauce that actually has peppercorns in it. ??-- ??

I have a nice Dinner platter tonight. A Medium rare Steak, crispy chicken salted potato chips, vegetables salad, with mushroom sauce. It's superb!! And a glass of cola as well... This cost me $25 voucher (Dine & Discover). But wonderfully, The Trinity matched it up for another $25 voucher that could be used within 3 months from this voucher been issued.

Upstairs is Tilly Devines and its a really open and fun space, friendly staff and good food. Worth a look.

Disappointing food.We both had the lid and a pint specials.Good Guiness, cold with a creamy head.The first pies arrived, both cold and sent back.Second try in the pies arrived with blackened burnt pastry on top, undercooked pastry underneath. I guess the kitchen hand tried grilling when the microwave failed.Shame the filling was OK and had a nice touch of Rosemary. Unfortunately the execution failed twice.

What I love about this place is that you know what youre going to get straight away. Theres no trying to be more or different. The staff on this Sunday afternoon were amazing, able to have a laugh and not take things too seriously. We had the chilli and it is definitely a share meal once you add the chicken. The venue is a bit out of the way for me, but I happily return each time Im in the area. My one wish is that the food was just a bit more prompt.Ps. Try the Sunday Roast! Too much food for me today.
