We went to this lovely establishment last night for dinner to celebrate a birthday. What I wonderful experience from the moment we got picked up by the courtesy bus to ordering and getting a fantastic meal. Best oysters, Kilpatrick, I've had in over 20 years. Every main meal was superb and everyone loved the service. The ambience of the pub to a very nice drive home back to our accommodation. I would highly recommend this place. And we're even thinking of going back for another meal before we go home from our holiday. Well done to all the staff there. Since Covid most restaurants we have been to have been lacking in service, food quality and professionalism.
The Top Pub stands out on all fronts. If I could rate it higher I would. Thank you for great night.

Ordered a parmi and a fish risotto. Some of the best meals we've had our entire holiday. We even got dessert which was beautiful. Everything was fresh, which coming from a small rural town I'm not too used to.

We all really loved our food. We got seafood chowder, t bone steak and scotch fillet. All were cooked perfectly.
The only thing that they could have done better was a fresher salad although we did go pretty late.

The food was incredible, however it was the staff that left the best impression. Our little boy can't have lactose and the chef went out of her way to create a dessert just for him. We are so grateful.

Was a bit quiet when we visited, but still a nice place. We had the 400g T bone and it was cooked perfectly and the thyme jus was unreal. Had buttermilk chicken with sciracha mayo for the entree, it was awesome also.....Will bang again?

This place isnt dog friendly anymore. The gentleman behind the bar advised us we werent able to have a beer with our dog on the verandah.

My dish was awful ! Had the vege bake ; cold in the middle & way too much red sauce; & my friends dish was like a soup ; & it was the pasta dish ; also waitresse was rude .

With new management, the Top Pub is terrific. Great food and generous proportions. Lovely staff, nice atmosphere.

We were visiting around Easter time and had a fantastic lunch. The kitchen obviously works well because the food was delivered in good time and with exceptional quality. We will definitely be back next time, thanks guys

Biggest T-Bone cooked exactly as asked, friendly staff and clean facilities. Can't rate beer as driving.

I cannot rate this pub enough! My partner and I are in the area on holidays and we just had the best meal and eating experience of our trip so far. This unassuming pub punches well above its weight! The food was seriously excellent - we came for the local oysters which did not disappoint, and we were equally impressed with the calamari and caprese salad. All delicious and very well priced. Great atmosphere, excellent service and really lovely staff. They cater for their locals, but also deserve recognition for warmly welcoming visitors. Do yourself a favour, and stop here for drinks and dinner... you will not be disappointed!

Awesome place, infact its better than when we were there last - 3yrs ago approx. Staff were all friendly, great service and the food was amazing, with generous serving size.

We ate here last week on a Sunday night. It was the best crumbed lamb cutlets I've EVER had. Absolutely highly recommend. Great friendly staff and the best wine pour I've also EVER had.

Went for dinner Saturday night, party of 9 people. Sorry to say but only one of our party commented that the food was ok. I am constantly reading positive reviews about the Pub, but on this occasion we have to disagree, we also experienced poor quality meals on the october long weekend when we went as well. Thought that they may have improved, but sorry to say, they havent. The kids said the chicken nuggets had no taste, and the chips were only just warm and soggy. Seems the type of chips are now different to before. The burger wasnt as fresh as could be perhaps, and the bun was burnt a touch. Dont mind paying for dining out, but in our opinion this may need to improve.
Then there was only one guy on the bar, doing his best, but the line was past the front door, and the bar area itself had no room to get past. We had to line up for 15 mins to get served, and we werent the only patrons to comment about that. Sorry but all the positive reviews may be right, but we found that it wasnt the case tonight, sorry but i doubt we will return, as we are local we will go to other establishments for our sit down meals.

Excellent pub. Meals were fantastic.Shout out to the beautiful female chef. A slight mix up with our meals but took great care of us. Would highly recommend visiting.

Had their $12 dollar lunch. There's about 6 items on the lunch menu. I had the rissoles with veggies. Ate the lot. Will be going back to sample the rest of the menu. The staff were very professional.

Terrific local pub, excellent food that is a notch above most pubs. We dined here on a Monday night in May. Great friendly service and excellent food. We have eaten at many country pubs over the years and the Top Pub stands out as a place we would love to return to. The local oysters are worth ordering if you love oysters.

In Pambula once a month (either 1st or 2nd Sunday afternoon) the Candelo Blues Club put on a show / jam festival, so much fun and entertainment people dancing where possible, awesome for a small country town.

Great place for lunch....$12 deals. Salad wasn't fresh though. Lettuce limp and a few days old. No dressing on it either. But the fish was nice.

It's the only pub in Pambula and it was packed early on a Saturday night.. The staff were extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful explaining how everything worked so that we could get one of the few remaining tables and a meal. Perhaps we would have been better off to have missed out? The food was woeful at best. The fish was starting to go off and should not have been served. The chicken in the Parma left a lot to be desired as well. Two stars for the staff.
