Came on a Friday night and the place was busy. The kids meals arrived quickly but our adult meals took about 40mins. Nice atmosphere and various places to sit. The beef cheeks were the winner tonight. Pasta was a bit over cooked but my daughter enjoyed it. Family friendly and will definitely come back.

Food was amazing! Duck was really tasty had fresh duck taste rather than a frozen. Squid starter was nice. Chicken starter was super good. Non alcoholic margarita is just ok. One bar girl is just ok. Everything else fantastic.

Really good meals. Atmosphere is great for a Monday night and not crowded. Parking a little awkward with Reno works being done, first world problem.

Nine times out of ten the food is borderline perfect. The wait staff/bar tenders and chefs are excellent and the customer service follows closely in parallel. The premises and facilities are probably up there with some of the best in the Hills, while also boasting a pleasant natural light outdoor atmopshere and warm but casual interior dining experience. The sports bar area has no more nor less than most people would want.
The food has just about never dissapointed anyone I know and it seemingly never ceases to impress.

Certainly not bad for your local, especially with the fair prices for drinks and dinner alike.
While the steaks sit comfortably in the premium price range, they do come with premium-price quality and taste. If you want a beverage, the aversge beer is about $11. You get what you pay for here when weighing up fair, but not excessive, business profits per item based on quality of premises.

The rooms here are also very well kept, simple but functional, albeit definately not fancy.

I've been here many times but decided to add my voice. The place is comfortable and cozy. The food are delicious and they have a wide variety of beers. Good place to have a drink with mates after work. See you soon again

I always have a lovely meal here. It's nice to go to a pub and not have boring pub meals. It is upmarket and the decor is great. I had fantastic service last night. Highly recommend

I can't fault the food here.
I always return for the rib eye special with bone marrow. Perfect every time.
The Sunday roast Pork wasn't so good, very dry and smothered in gravy however I ordered at 7:30 so I'm not sure if it was just because of that.

Had a lovely experience.
The chips and steak was phenomenal, made even better as I ate it next to the fireplace.

First time there and will definitely be going back again.

**Update**
I can confirm as of 12/6/22 that the steak sandwich has gone back to its old ways in that the bread is again thick and the chip quantity has increased. I have changed my rating accordingly.

Love this place and have been going for the last 10 years as a local however it has gone down hill just in the last year alone.

My main issue is your food and the fact that your portion sizes have decreased. My pictures show an "award winning" steak sandwich from March 2021 with a solid amount of chips and nice bread compared to my most recent meal from the other day with sandwich bread and a less than adequate serving of chips. The change in bread I can cop but being charged $25 to be stingy with the chips is where I draw the line. The quality of the food is still decent hence my three star rating so if you aren't fussed on quantity you can't go wrong with the quality.

While I understand it has been a tough two years for hospitality, it's disappointing to see your "award winning" steak sandwich go downhill and I feel as though I will visit this establishment less frequently for a meal than I have in the past.

Cold food & friendly incompetent staff

First time visiting this place. We visited on a week day for lunch. The service is really slow in general. The gentleman who takes the food orders had zero awareness of how long the line was. He was having long conversations with customers.

We ordered a few sangrias for our table. When I went to pick up the Sangria Carafe I asked for some glasses to pour them out off. The girl looked at me as if she didn't understand what I said. The glasses she eventually gave me were dirty.

The food took more than 40 minutes to arrive. I took our buzzer up to the kitchen to see several plates had been lined up. I could see our order there ready. I asked if I could just take the plates as they were sitting there. 10 minutes later a lady brings over our food and sure enough the food was cold. We didn't bother sending it back as it took a long time. Food was average, nothing special - just cold.

The staff are really nice, just incompetent. They didn't bother closing the roof or the windows until it rained a little harder. Some of the outdoor seats along the wall are u comfortable as well, some cushions would help.

We love this place. As soon as restrictions were lifted, we booked a table there to celebrate a friend's birthday.
They were there for the first time and we had a wonderful dinner.
We had the tomahawk steak, pizza on special, fish and chips and loaded fries for starters. The food is really good there.

Visited on the 1/6/2021 and again mixing my pursuit of a love life with dates and places to drink and talk and to see where the date goes. Again on this occasion the date didn't go at all. Anyway this is a busy hub for eating, drinking and talking. Again this place serves pints (should be the standard), however it seems schooners and middies have been here since 1788. Who drinks middies? There's a number of different areas and bars in the establishment and no shortage of choice. This was a meet and greet date so I wasn't intending on sampling the fine food fragrance that hung nicely in the air between myself and my beautiful date. However, 'she' (I won't dox) wanted some wedges. Surprisingly there were no wedges but I went with a plate of hot chips with fancy white sauce. I'm still a fan of tomato sauce, however on a date it pays to be sophisticated (even though I paid for drinks and chips it did not payout date wise). Nevertheless, the hot chips were lovely, she ate most of them but I was working in charm mode and not hungry. So prices equal to most places, plenty of parking and there was no smooch at close of date. Another one bites the dust.

Food is great, price reasonable, has some weird policies like no doubles for spirits and Rum not served with water etc other than that all good.

It's a nice pub in that area with family friendly spaces. In our visit the place was pretty crowded with a bit of wait to order and pickup food. Steak sandwich and lamb shank was good but the burger and steak were pretty disappointing. Medium rare steak was cooked unevenly and chewy. Recommend for catching up over drinks and snacks but not for the food.

Great place to have a drink and some nice food. Very comfortable and with open fire in Winter..Would have given 5 stars if they served Guinness on tap..

The place offered nice pub style food but with a bigger menu which other pics don't. Their steak menu is great and the ambiance is very likely. They also have live music in weekends I believe
