Good meals, good atmosphere

Wandered in to this place while attending the crystal fair in the basketball stadium.
Great place for some food and a drink and a chat. Friendly staff.

Went today for Mothers Day lunch with family. Service was great, staff are friendly and courteous. I had the rib eye surf n turf. I have to say this is the most perfectly cooked, (medium rare), rib eye I have ever had! Tender and juicy! Thank you, thank you, thank you! Yum :)

Always come here because the food comes out fast! Drinks are cheap and the food is served fresh and the portion size is very generous.

Friendly service and a peaceful pub without the young rowdy crowds.

Bistro is family friendly or you can sit with the blue collar workers out the front for a good old yarn. A very welcoming local.

Pretty solid catch up spot! If you get a chance to have the butter chicken from the bistro, do it. You won't be disappointed.

Good quality food. Reasonable tavern pricing. You don't go for the atmosphere, you go for the schnitzel.

Been here a total of 3 times and all has been good In both service and atmosphere. The only gripe I had was on a Sunday (I ad that as most shut early because of less customers on the day so fairs fair) the Web page said it shut at 9:30 so I thought I'd grab a quick beer at 8:25 while i was coming home but they had locked the doors for people coming in. I don't urge this as a bad review for the establishment, just go in a bit earlier if you want a drink on Sundays

Extremely rude. Rude buying my drink. Then..Asked to leave or move and stand by myself after sitting with my family. No explanation. Covid assigned seating. They could have politely offered to move us, instead of singling me out. U want me to stand in the corner?? While groups of people sit together. We were 3! First time- last time.
