Springdale Heights Tavern has so much to offer.
The food here is simply amazing.
Never in my life have I seen a Joker Porer reach $20,000.
100% great place for all the family.

Staff are friendlier and more helpful now. Food is always very good, would go more often if they didn't charge card fees. They keep Reno's up to date so the atmosphere is great, was a great place to watch Superbowl. Bottlemart app specials are great value. Drive through staff give especially good service.

Down to 4 again. The pork belly was once a great dish and have had it many times. However, they don't even try to make the skin crispy anymore. They are happy to serve soft rubber. It wasn't really busy at the lunch time I ordered.

Went for dinner for a family get-together. The atmosphere is excellent, staff very friendly and helpful, and meals are excellent. Reasonable pricing and decent sized meals, you don't go away hungry. Many options on the menu. Would definitely go again and would recommend this place.

We came here on a Friday night for a table of 20. We booked about 3 weeks in advance and called a week early to confirm and ensure everything was OK. We arrived and tried to find our table and weren't able to. Asked staff to help, and they were also unable to. They had forgotten our table and had 20 people waiting. Props on their part, they were helpful, and found is a table, but it had water dripping on half of it. We asked to move, and they moved a later reservation to that table, and we got a different one. The garlic bread was delicious and very cheesy. The aracini balls were OK but very crunchy on the outside, but the sauce with it made it delicious. My little brother thoroughly enjoyed his nuggets and chips. We also had a margarita pizza, which was basic, but still yummy. I had the carbonara, which was very creamy and full of chicken, which I enjoyed, but the pasta itself was a bit chewy and clearly overcooked. However, a family member of mine has the exact same dish, but it tasted very different. It was presented very blandly and hardly had any chicken in it. I tried some of hers compared to mine, and the difference was significant. It is not always a good thing to not have consistency with every dish. It was a nice family dinner that was a bit soured by the start, but all the kids enjoyed the lovely playground they had. Wouldn't go again, but it was a nice experience overall.

I ordered the Salt'n'Pepper Squid ? with Salad ???- and chips ? ? and it was amazing ??'? ?.
I wanted more but I was so full after the big lunch.
The Stunning service Lady with long black hair who served me was so kind, and had a big Georgous Smile that lit up the room everywhere she went, I'd so go back there everyday if I could. ??

All or meals we dry and over cooked. Also asked for a kid's chicken parmigiana and got a chicken snitzel.

Also waited over an hour and when I asked about them I was told that there was a 45 minute wait on all meals. Yet was told nothing when I ordered.

The place very loud. And the drinks (cocktails) took a long time to come out.

Won't be going back

There pokies seems to be the best part.
Food is a proper hit or miss.
My steak was so under cooked on one half and fully cooked on the other... I don't even understand how they happily put it on a plate.

The kids play area is really good, if only the food was worth it.

Looks are deciving Food was over cooked dry and tastless, also you have to go to the counter to order and get your meal do not recommend eating there.

The food was disgusting and unfortunately not all the chefs fault. Food sat under heat lamps for 20 minutes before being called to pickup. Look at the chips. 4 meals over $100 and couldn't eat any of them. Walked out disgusted. Haven't been there since 2014 since a similar issue and will be another 9 years before back again.

Kids also allowed to run riot screaming and running around so cannot even say the environment was acceptable.

A lot for the Tavern to work on if they want to improve.

The number 1 thing I can say about this place is The value! Very affordable prices, and the food is bloody amazing too. A great place for a get together with friends or family, a great feel and atmosphere. Service was pretty quick too. Definitely will be back

The Tav has come a long way. The buzzer system for meals is fabulous for staff and customers! No more table hunting for them!

Finally food is always good and great for value.

Great place to eat, particularly with family with young kids. Beer was cold, service was good, staff happy and friendly, food very plentiful and cooked to my satisfaction (fish and chips). All in all, enjoyed everything about the place.

First time I was there with my colleagues from where I volunteer work to have our dinner venue. It was lovely and the food I ordered was freshly cooked and served hot. Wonderful.

Food was average, dry chips and chicken, and once I found out about the bill, they said it would be easier if we could just sort it out between ourselves. Best part of the night, was the kids had a great time. Won't be going back there any time soon.

Have come here for the last 3 weekends.
The food has been excellent everytime. The service has been exceptional and nothing being an issue no matter how silly the request.

I highly recommend the tavern for lunch or dinner.

Meal was delicious but service was average.
It just seemed the staff weren't overly happy to be there.
Overall a pretty good experience.

Wine, fine at a reasonable price. Ambiance of a train station. If the pork belly was any drier it'd be sold as a backpackers dehydrated meal. Chicken Schnitty the same with the added displeasure of a weird flavoured mushroom " paste" Never to darken their door again

I have been a regular patron at this Tavern for the past 25 + years and akways enjoyed the great meals and service. Since new owners have taken over the quality of meals has gone south, had the worst meal on Wednesday night vegetables oversized and not cooked, palmy over cooked, poor presentation. Made complaint and chef couldn't care less and blamed trainee staff. Pick your game up Springdale Heights Tavern, very poor to date, absolutely atrocious.

Dinner at Springfield Tavern Sunday night 12.6.2022 - our second visit. Third in line to order 6.00pm took over an hour to receive our meals, was enjoying a special occasion with my wife so wasn't fussed. Whilst watching many tables receive meals who ordered after us, our meals were ready. On sitting down to enjoy, I was dumfoundered to see that the Chicken Kiev had been cremated and was blackened on top and totally burnt black on the underside. The chicken also had totally shrunk and reduced in size and dry. Took dish back to servery. The staff all were extremely pleasant and helpful, manager returned my money and girls apologised.
The fault with this, is the unprofessional service and lack of care provided by the the chef on the pass, dishing up the plate. This person has received zero stars for lack of effort in taking responsible for the dish.
I will give 3 stars for front of house service. We will be back.

Great tavern! Visited recently when in the area! Service with a smile. The meals were generous in size and great quality.

The meals were nice but had to wait 75 minutes on a Tuesday night while others seemed to get preference.

The service was fast considering the volume of customers, not the largest selection of choices but still meals for every ones taste, the prices were fair as well and the layout while quite noisy at the beginning died down once order service was stopped. All in all a very pleasant evening out.

Food was very good, be prepare to wait during busy times.

Clearly there has been a change of chef/s in the last 6 mths or so, it used to be a great feed 99% of the time 5 star, but the last 3 times have been, menu choices were good but food aweful. I had a wellington, meat dry and dead, next was a lamb back strap, meat dry and dead and tonight moroccan pork medallions with a nice quinoa salad but meat dry and dead. I won't be back to there is another change of chef/sorry.

Really loved this place. The staff were so friendly and made great recommendations. They fit us in when they were fully booked. Loved the atmosphere and the comfy corner booths.

Nice and clean, friendly service. Had the steak sandwich which was overdone. Has been reasonable in the past.

Great food even during busy times service was quick and mostly on point.
