The service was quick, the staff were friendly and obliging.
Satay Chicken along with a scallop pasta dish were delicious. ( the scallops were a special request). We will be back.

I'll start with the good stuff.
The place is nicely located on the water and is comfortable and fairly quiet. The menu is brilliant and the food is excellent, but some things are a little pricey, but overall good value for money.
The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is price of the beer.
$18 for a pint of Guinness.
Seriously $18, it's probably a world record. Also not a great selection of beers either just the usual boags and also Guinness\'s on tap.

Myself and my partner and a friend came here last night all of us are clearly over 40 2 of us had id 1 did not but he is a regular to the pub and is 48 years old. The security guard on last night (Wednesday night) was rudely shooing us out without any compromise or compassion, we were sober and respectful while he was pulling us out physically man handling us out of the venue it was absolutely ridiculous then they called the grand hotel to shut thier doors on us, we didn\'t swear or raise our voice or get physical but he did.
The night before my husband and his friend walked right on in past the same guy who didn\'t say anything about id or nothing. This guy is extremely bad for you\'re business and lucky we didn\'t take his physical abuse further.
Will never come here again

Very big menu. But a few disappointments. Lemonade was like soda water, skimping on the syrup can\'t save that much money can it? Menu said 8 scallops, only received 4 and was told it was \"because these scallops were bigger than usual\", which was a bit weird. Maybe point that out when ordered? And the joint closed up at 8.30 on a Thursday night. Seemed very early. Other than that the food was OK without being brilliant.

Magnificent vegetarian and vegan choices. Meat eating friends lived their meals too...esp the oysters. So much choice. Friendly and accommodating staff. Relaxed atmosphere overlooking York Cove and the Tamar River. Generous meals that are yummy, and great wine, or gin cocktails from the adjoining business next door (Zenith distillery - divine, with super knowledgeable and friendly owners). We ate here 3 nights in a row and had something different each time.
