From the moment we walked in, the Marayong Hotel felt like a warm hug of hospitality. The ambiance is cozy, perfect for a family dinner out. Each dish was a home run, especially the spaghetti bolognese which had a rich, homemade taste that left us wanting more. The kebab platter was cooked to perfection, with flavors that transported us to the Mediterranean. And the beer? It was the cherry on top, refreshingly crisp and served with a smile.

Celebrated my sons 1st birthday here recently and it was fantastic! We hired the function room at the back. Amanda was great to work with when making the booking and organising the menu for the day. All the food came out at the requested time and was delicious! I would have another function here again.

The food here was a lot better than we originally thought, I was a little surprised to be honest. We ordered the lamb souvlaki, vegetarian pizza and of course chicken schnitzel!
Firstly the lamb was cooked to perfection with a pretty decent serving, it was well seasoned and tender. The pizza was really delicious. The schnitzel was nice and crunchy and the sauces were too, the vegetables were seasoned with garlic and butter. Pretty decent pub grub, give this place a go.

Great pub! We had chips and pizza and they were great. The drinks were great too. Would come again for another dinner. The place is nice and renovated and is clean and tidy.

I sometimes come in for dinner and the place is packed with beautiful families.

We had our sons 1st bday there. Functionality was good, decor was better and the food spread was amazing. Staff were top notch and the kids loved the playground and ice cream.

Great staff. Drinks were about on par with other clubs. Food was not bad, definitely have had better snitty's. Fish was also a little ordinary according to my wife.The burger was ok apparently however my son would eat off the floor if he had to. ?

Overall it wasn't bad but probably won't be back. Was here for my daughter to play in the Harry Potter trivia night. Trivia was very well run.

The interiors and food was second to none. Prettiest pub in the land.

First restaurant ever to have healthier platter on the kids' menu as well I see. This needs to be a non negotiable everywhere.

Went for a mates 50th birthday party and had a fantastic time.

Good place well set out and plenty of parking. They have a good room for private partys or events one might have. Cocktails beers and all drinks on offer and the food is good. Well worth a visit..??

Went for dinner and honestly a pretty average feel overall. Food was terrible and wouldn't recommend eating here. Steak was overcooked, dry and lacked favour. Price is fine if the food was actually cooked right. Customer service wasn't an objective for staff and looking at the managers something they don't care about implementing either. Wouldn't return or recommend anyone else going.

The good news is that this place looks amazing after the refurbishment.
Bar and wait staff were as always friendly and approachable.

All the food items on today's visit were way below standard.

2 salads ordered and were soaking in the cheapest dressing that totally made salad feel like a soup.

Make sure you return food you think is unacceptable.

Only 2 deserts in the menu ..they look good and that's it, the place itself looks good but so dirty, the coffee taste awful, the hot chocolate taste like vegetable oil mixture and the play area is an infection hazard full of dirt and not hygienic whatsoever.
I gave 2 stars out of respect to the interior designs and lighting of the place but it missed 3 stars for everything else.

For a place that is opened in the last couple of years its already so deteriorated and I don't recommend it for any family who is keen for the kids health.

Maybe its good as a drinking place or to watch football but anything else is a no.

The food is delicious here. The chefs are really good and quick. The service is really good. Easy to book a table if needed. Prices are reasonable. Not too expensive. The playground is excellent. My kids love it. And their ages are 11, 9, 6 and 2. Perfect for all ages. The playground is inside tall glass windows which makes watching my kids an easy breeze. I've had cocktails here. $12ea which is quite cheap.

We booked to celebrate a family members birthday but unbeknown to us, it was Trivia night. It was our first time at this venue & it was off putting. We should have looked into it prior to booking but it may have been helpful for the person taking our booking to have warned us. The trivia evening was hosted right in the middle of the venue, heavens only knows why. Great if that's what you're there for but unbearable if you're a patron, expecting to have a pleasant evening. It was extremely loud, the microphone & speakers were overbearing. We were practically shouting out one another to be heard at the dining table. It didn't make for a pleasant dinner conversation & took away from the evening to be honest. On the upside, the food was nice & there is a great play area for the kids but I don't think I'll be returning after the experience this evening. Rather disappointing.

I come here regularly for the food! Some of the best pub grub you'll find in the west. A great venue and the service is lovely - always greeted with a smile and great customer service!

First visit for me, despite living in a neighbouring suburb for over 30 years. Had a great dinner here with family. The food was delicious and we were able to grab a ride home in the courtesy bus, who then dropped off our other family members. The staff are amazing too. Will definitely be back.

After the renovation this place has completely changed, the staff are professional and most importantly friendly and very helpful. The food is magnificent and the portions are unbelievably huge and the prices are extremely cheap for what you're getting. You will not regret going there. I was hesitant to put this review up as i don't like crowded places but they deserve my honest opinion and if this helps the business then so be it.
Kids friendly and has a nice play area for the little ones and the parking is great with disability access.

As mentioned before you will not regret trying it?

Can't remember the last time I was there but now newly refurbished. Lovely modern and clean look. Cute little indoor play area for the kids and fantastic servings of tasty food. Had the chicken and mushroom risotto and looking forward to going back to eat it again, delicious!

The hotel is really well laid out and very classy. We think they have the best steaks in Sydney. Absolutely delicious! We come here a lot and prefer the Marayong over Kings Park Tavern and other pubs in the area. Also great for families with children due to the play area. Highly recommend!

Great spot, good food - well priced, fantastic selection of beers/lagers/pale ale. The new Reno has made it so child friendly!! Spot on!

Enjoyed our lunch there today with the extended family. We sat right next to the playground and didn't hear boo. Great soundproofing. New renovations and decor great. Looks more spacious and light. Loved my creamy garlic prawns, lots of prawns in it. Coffee could improve. Staff were great very covid conscious. Will be back.

Had a great experience this past father's day in a small group consisting my family of four and another family of three. I only noticed this place after the big sign went up advising it was open again. Been living in the area close to ten months and never knew! I love love love the ambience of the place. The kids' play area is great and I observed how very seriously they attended to hygiene and social distancing, regulating the number of kids in the play area and maintaining adequate spacing between tables. The food was great. I had steamed rice and sizzling chicken and I loved it. The husband loved the pizza I ordered for the kids and has since made this place his new pizza takeout place. The pork ribs were awesome too!. Do I need to say I will be bringing other friends too?
