Extremely unprofessional hostess barely speaking English and rude.
We walked in to get a table and were happy to wait to be seated. She asked us to leave . We then have asked to speak to her manager and started to ignore us. We have asked for a name, she continues to ignore us. She called security and security never came. Then, we have asked another person from the staff to help us with a table and she ASKED this person NOT TO HELP US. She should be fired right now.
For the record, we were completely sober as we just came from massage.
Fire her right now if you want people from your neighbourhood to come and to recommend this rooftop.

Arrived early evening for sunset and cocktails. Great views, watched the sky and the bats takef light overhead. Spectacular.

At $30 (?) I didn't get the exact price break down combining with my beer (40ish/40something with schooner) but more on the premium end for a chicken parmigiana however they didn't skimp on good ingredients. Not sure what cheeses they used but lovely texture, colour and flavour. Fresh roasted baby tomatoes instead of a Napoli sauce with giant very fragrant basil leaves was a welcome touch and surprisingly flavourful. Chips and salad were very fresh and crisp The radicchio added some nice colour and flavour contrast. The panko crusted chicken was very nicely cooked and juicy. I haven't eaten a tonne of parmies in Sydney but this would be up there with the best that I've eaten, maybe the best one yet. Portion was enormous and could feed two people. Not the best phone photo representation but very tasty and an easy recommendation.

The atmosphere is not bad and service is fair but arguably the place lacks a touch of character. To give a definition of a place with character, or. The Cricketers Arms that also have a solid beer selection and excellent wine bar upstairs and they play great music. I could see myself going back but it's not the kind of place where I can't wait to take friends and hang out, but it's not a bad place. Having said this, I've only ever hung out downstairs in the front bar - yet to check out the balcony.

I'd say the food is solid though and me and my mates were happy with our orders.

The food and the service up the bistro level were amazing but unfortunately the music on this particular Friday night at around 8:30 pm was a real atmosphere spoiler. Way too loud and annoying. Maybe this was because they want the diners out as the kitchen was closing at 9 ... anyway as soon as we could finish the excellent food we got out :))

Besides this I would definitely go back and hope that the music was not so loud

Love the rooftop! Our table booking was on L1. Atmosphere was alright, nice place, but not as nice a the rooftop. We were there for the 2 for 1 special. Great deal, especially for that quality of food. Will definitely go back again!

Went here for the first time yesterday evening. The roof top is sensational with amazing views of the city. All staff members were extremely friendly, top quality food and cocktails. Also the new bar tender pulls a perfect pint!

It has a nice rooftop to enjoy the sunset, unfortunately due to neighbourhood rules there isn't music available out there.
Pizzas were fantastic, fast service and friendly staff.

Fun little spot on the edge of the main strip of Paddington. It's a large pub with good amount of seating space and big screen TVs to watch the games. There's a great rooftop area for the warmer months. The food menu has alot of variety. I would recommend the chicken wings which are tasty and well marinated. The nachos are not typical in the sense that it's made from fresher ingredients and doesn't taste as one would expect from a pub, but it's decent...wife really enjoyed it.

Love this Pub. We go on Tuesday nights for the 2 for 1 specials, and the happy hour drinks. We love the roof top area especially. Our whole family love it. The bar staff can be a bit hit or miss, but the food is great as far as we are concerned.
It is actually my favourite pub in Sydney at present. Bravo and many thanks for that!

Multiple levels with different vibes and feels means you'll always find the spot that suits your energy. Food is solid (7/10) and the cocktails pretty alright too. Views of the city and quay are decent from the roof top bar. Book ahead on weekends

Decided to cancel my reservation for 16 persons after speaking to the manager and going through the reviews here.

When talking to the manager I found her extremely rude and slightly condescending. For example, I asked her whether we could have drinks inside in case of rain and she answered: did you read the T&C... We don't guarantee seats and your booking will be cancelled in case of bad weather.

If this conversation is an early sign of what is to come, I prefer to take my business elsewhere. As people have said here in the comments, there are tons of other venues to visit in this area so I prefer to go to another venue to avoid any drama and who won't be chasing you away after 90 minutes.

Good place to meet up with friends and to a glass of wine. We were there on Thursday and paid for one meal and got the second one for free. I liked the atmosphere, the food and the service.

That was my first visit to Light Brigade pub. My friend invited me to have a steak meal. Every Tuesday you can pay for a meal and get another one free as long as the price of the second meal is lower.
I had a free burger ???" meal ,while my friend ordered a steak. We spent $33 for both. The food was good, but I liked the atmosphere and the service.

Friendly, helpful staff. Excellent food. Beautiful ambience for an end of year work Christmas party.

Horrendous management! A friend booked his birthday lunch at the rooftop bar for 15 people on a Saturday only to be called 10 minutes before his booking and told that the rooftop would be closed and we would need to find somewhere else!! It wasn't raining that day, slightly breezy but nothing crazy. Handled very poorly!

We visited The Rooftop Brigade just 2 days ago, a very windy and cold evening for dinner with friends. However, they have nice warm blankets and Heaters on the Rooftop zone, this really helps.
Food, wines selection and Services are all good.
However, it is limited to 1.5 hrs per table at busy dining hours. Yet, it work out fine, as there are other zones we can sit to finish our drinks and conversation.
Happy to recommend this F&B outlets.

great roof top venue and awesome staff on duty at the time. friendly, fast and fun. Good menu with delish Veg and GF options. Great views over the harbour and eastern subs. Definitely worth a revisit

Went on a Monday. Make sure you book online to book your seat for rooftop. Had their Monday special of $15 pizza .
Must say the woodfired Pizza was beautiful. Not floppy as other wood fired, nice, crisp, great quality.
Plus terrific view for sunset.
Bar staff attentive.

Highly recommend for a weeknight after hours bite& drink.

A lovely pub, every level is different from the from ground floor, the lovely middle lounge room, and to the rooftop bar with it's insane views of the Harbour. Drinks are delicious and the food is amazing!

Two for One Tuesday nights!! And really good pizzas. Top spot.

Great sports bar downstairs to watch the game (It's an AFL pub predominantly). Good pub food served and friendly bar staff. Multiple levels with a great rooftop bar to chill out at on a sunny day.
