I understand the need for photo ID
However I was turned away and treated like I was a liar for Not having that ID. I don't drive or travel overseas but I'm expected to have photo ID.
I'm in my 60's well dressed and definitely not a ringin person. I even live in Malabar so this is appalling that you don't have other means to accept someone in.
Note: I was there in August with a member who signed me in.
I'm disgusted

If I could give this place less then 1 star I would ordered food at 7:30 pm 6 dishes didn't arrive 9pm and still waiting for food. Asked for it to be takeaway after waiting so long and had to wait a further 30 mins. This place is so unorganised and totally ridiculous!

The staff there are all nice and friendly. I love going there

Had a fantastic Chinese meal here. All freshly cooked, large portions and the service was excellent. The place had a really comfortable vibe.

Bar staff are great. Beers are reasonably priced. Restaurant is great.
But so many of the punters here are absolute plebs. Constantly swearing and carrying on like goose's.

Also people control your children. Tell them to sit down and be quiet, or don't bring them out.

The club is separate from the Chinese restaurant within the club. This review is for the Chinese restaurant. The food is not bad, bit some dishes are below average suchbas the beef and blackbean suace. Seafood and Prawns are quite expensive for the portion size. On one takaway occasion they gave is a chicken dish instead of Prawns yet charged for Prawns. Theie best dish is special Fried rice which has a reasonable amount of meats etc. Thank you.

Food tasted cheap and service was not good at all

Food is tasty, but the service isn't so great. Took forever to get our meals, and when we did, we only got three out of four dishes. Took an HOUR to get our final dish. Staff were also unprofessional.

Wish I could give it a minus star !!! Some of the staff are awful and especially the lady with the long blonde pigtails. she clearly hates children and makes you feel totally unwelcome if you bring your children,
I heard her complaining numerous times about my child basically trying to make us leave. As the previous review stated it is more of an old person club as families are certainly made to feel not welcome. Such a shame as there are a lot of local families including ours who would love to visit and support the local rsl club however we will never be returning and will be sure to tell anyone and everyone else we know with families to steer clear of this place ! And as for your totally rude and miserable staff member she should consider not working with the general public if she hates people so much. She seemed to only be friendly with people she knew and absolutely no no one else... appalling !!!

The Chinese restaurant although not flash but the Cantonese food is delicious. It has "Wok Hei" which is very rare these days with so many below average fusion Chinese food...

Always been one of my favourite haunts in Sydney.

Staff are rude. Seating area is poorly lit. Restaurant is very over priced. Its definitely an older persons RSL kids are not really welcomed.

Went for lunch, had sweet and sour pork which was crispy and delicious for $13.50. it was better than I expected.

5 star performance by The Juniors

Excellent food and very friendly staff, but a very noisy venue, patrons seemed to be shouting to make themselves heard...

Unfortunately it was full of dirtbag South supporters but apart from that a great place

Nice place to visit after golf. Very reasonable Asian meal. Staff pleasant.

The staff on the door were very courteous as we had to join the ub. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. It was a really lovely evening out with friends

The restaurant food was mediocre at best. My Rib eye was tough. Friends asian meals tastless. What happened to this place?!. Prices have doubled stupidly and serving sizes smaller. Sadly will go else where for those restaurant prices. Street Parking. During the day you have water views.

Very clean,quiet comfortable club with all facilities and great food. My favourite.

It is a great club to come and get together over drinks and food and play the pokies and watch the sports on tv friendly helpful staff
