Absolutely brilliant hotel. Very cold beer. Staff is extremely friendly. It appears that management looks after and cares about the customers and what they think. Also well manages any issues including partrons or concerns of people. TVs and audio is always spot on. Steaks are great and well presented. It would be good if the tasty chicken noodle stir-fry was put back on the menu. Footy comp is even better this year. Well done and other establishment could learn from what tfi is doing.

This is the first time I'm dining at The family Inn. Barramundi is not fresh. Disappointed. Pork ribs are fine.

Absolutely amazing service and high quality food. Made a mistake with order and replaced it with a whole new meal rather than just the meat which was unbelievable, chef even came out to personally deliver it to our table. Very appreciative of the service. Great place, highly recommended

Came to the Family Inn tonight. The food was beautiful. Staff were welcoming, especially Justin the venue Manager - he went over & beyond for us. Very nice venue with a pet friendly outdoor area!!!

It's a great place to have beer. There is always an offer this week it's Great Northern for $5.5. The staff is really great. It's quiet. Food to try: Chicken wings. Nice ambiance. Come with your mates.

We go there with colleagues about twice a week. It's our local pub lunch that we really look forward to. The Manager and the team there are very professional, efficient and hard working. Service is consistently great. Food is also fresh and delicious with generous portions. I tend to skip dinner after lunching here! Also nice to have lunch with a wine or beer! Thanks for always welcoming us and feeding us your delicious food TFI team! We appreciate the effort you make every visit.

Great venue with easy parking, well priced meals and of course beer! Staff are always friendly and happy serving their customers. Would recommend to anyone in the area looking for a relaxing place to enjoy a few drinks.

Went for lunch today and can not fault the service by the bar tender called Irene, she was very helpful with taking us through the menu and showing us to our table

We tried to order the chicken Burgers electronically as they were on the menu, but it was not on there. We were seated in the outdoor dining area but so much cigarette smoke wafted over to us. Some of the tables were really in a state of disrepair. I have given an average rating for food to be fair, as it was so unpleasant there that we left without eating.

Been to The family Inn multiple times, their service has been consistently good. Food quality was also great with am affordable price. Serving size is always generous.

The steak I had recently was surprisingly good. Requested the steak to be medium rare and it came out just as I would like it. Usually the steaks at most places are quite dry or slightly overcooked. However, the steak at the family inn was very tender with a good amount of charred flavour.

Unhelpful staff that wanted to charge me $3 extra to change chips to mash.If I were able to eat chips I would get it but I will get very sick and can get bowel cancer if I eat gluten. The staff didn't care or have any compassion. I won't come here for lunch and I won't tell anyone I know to go there

I was with my family here lastnight and from the customer service from when we arrived to the food was the best! A great place for lunch or dinner with your family even my toddlers enjoyed walking around and socialising haha! I used to also work at Bunnings(down the road) and a few of us after work on Thursday nights would come to unwind with a few games of pool. It's such a cosy place and not very busy which is my cuppa tea.

Went there after my daughters graduation at rose hill racecourse today. Me and my wife had the rump (Special) the daughters had a schnitzel burger with chips my son had a pizza, Staff were friendly and the food was great and the drinks were cold. All good thanks.

Went here on a Saturday for lunch. We were a group of 5 people.

The interior of the place is pretty good. The rump steak lunch special was supposed to be medium rare but it was a bit too bloody right around the middle. And it seems to be too simple as compared to previous photos of the rump steak.

For the pasta, we didn't expect it to be spicy than usual. Good thing the beer was pretty cold so it balanced the spiciness of the meal.

Overall, it was an ok-ish experience.

Probably an OK pub for the area. We went to another pub nearby and did not like it at all, so we went to The Family Inn and stayed there for an afternoon meal. Food was very good and big meals. We couldn't finish either of our meals!! Good value for money. Beer is cold and table service is quick. Staff are friendly. Outdoor beer garden looks like it has recently been done up. A nice place to sit in the sun. Good music!

Over the period I have been coming for the food, I have had positive vibes! The chef are on point with the food they are serving and the staff are nice and attentive to their customers which makes the pub welcoming and family friendly.

Definitely recommended to those who are looking for good food and a hospitable environment ??'?

The food was good. One staff member was attentive and responsive but the others didn't seem to care when you stand at the bar or like they didn't want to work there.

And mind you the place had maybe 12 people in it including my group of 4. Not like there was lost of people to take care of.

I don't like to leave bad reviews but it's experience based writing.

Great place to come and chill. Adhering to covid restrictions, you will need to scan in before entering. Great to see and very professional staff and bouncers. Polite atmosphere and good selection of outdoor/Indoor space with a [---] room too. Great parking too.

Steak was outstanding, service was excellent will be back for the $20 scotch on Saturday night.

I think the restaurant is run by different owner or chefs now. Well we were there back in 2018 or 2019. Anyway, we ordered tbone steak (medium rate) but turned out to be well done., the pan fried barramundi is small portion and hardly any salsa Verde. But the lamb thai salad was ok. I reckoned better stick with fried food or Thai menu.

By far my favorite pub in Rydalmere, great food and atmosphere. Live sports and PPV available, nice chilling area and easy customer parking.

My first visit there was a Friday lunch. Food was excellent , reasonably priced and plenty of it. The patrons were friendly as were the staff.

Nice pub, nice out door area.. not too pokies oriented which is refreshing...and the prices are good on the wallet

Going down memory lane use to go there in the 70s and early 80s it was great had meal with some mates

Decent local pub, good spot to grab a bite and a beer for people who work in the area. The restaurant seems to have changed hands a few times over the last few years, and the food is hit and miss. I'd say miss the fish & chips, and the schnitzels, and hit the nachos, burgers and pizzas.

Food was great and the service was terrific.

This is more of an "after work drinks" kind of establishment for the local industrial workers. Patrons mostly consist of middle aged guys in fluoro vests. It's not exactly a 'family' joint but the meals are good quality pub grub and you can get cheap beer. A schooner for under $5 at happy hour and $20 schnitzel. It's not fancy but the food is fresh and well prepared.

Food servings were pretty massive. Grilled salmon was pretty big serve with lots of baked veggies. Food was served in short time and the lady who served us was really friendly.
