Was VERY DISAPPOINTED with the 'Special'..Chicken, baked potatoes etc. ..was about $28.00?? Was not special...was not juicy, lacked any taste. A lot of money for what you got.

Alas, the food quality has declined over the past few months...the upside is the staff are very friendly, and the local 'Dam' beer is very palatable.

We were a party of four, 3 of us had a burgers very nice. My partner had the lamb cutlets and was very much looking forward to them, only to be disappointed, they were tough and inedible.

Me and my family travelled from the south end of the Central Coast to eat here because of its family friendly vibe and the kids love the play area,
Although the lock was broken on one of the gates the kids mostly stayed inside the fence.
The food was prepared and served in near perfect time.
The kids had the nugget and chip meals which they loved, my wife had the parmigiana and after a disastrous one at another hotel closer to us is was good to see her enjoying it also the mash was divine.
I had the smokey beef burger and let me tell you this had to have been one of the best burgers I have had at a hotel in a long time!
Only bad thing was almost every table had plates and glasses on it with only one female staff member coming out to clear table every 10 minutes.
Other than that great feed, great friendly staff we will be back!

I've dined at the Hotel a few times, before stepping in to face paint at a few events. The service is efficient and friendly. The food is good Australia fair. Portion sizes are good and when I have been there it's been well attended with very few empty tables. Management are supportive and kind, have only had good experiences there!

Went for a pub meal. Staff were polite. The dining area set up more so for larger groups. There were several families with young children and babies The toilets were disgusting, had to walk out due to the smell and wait till I got to a friend's place. There was vomit in one toilet and the others I will not describe. Whist there, a fight occurred in the public bar area with screaming, punching and bar stools being thrown around. The burger was ok. Apparently, the aged beef was nice. Needles to say I will not be going back and I dare say my local friend will be going elsewhere. Overall Disappointing.

Burger was good chips were not, soggy and no crisp whatsoever, waitress did offer to replace but get it right the 1st time and you won't have too.

Delicious food, lovely staff & great facilities - a great place for kids too. Smoked meat platter was a great share plate & the lamb & vegetable deep dish pie was mouth watering

Had to make an emergency stop due to a very pressing case of diarrhoea today. Can not rate the amenities highly enough. So convenient it took the dire out of diarrhoea and was left with the dignity that only an unsoiled pair of underpants can provide.

Unfortunately was disappointed as I heard great reviews regarding the meals there. Had the fish special, it was very dry and tasteless, had to cover it with lemon juice and rehydrated it and gave flavour. My partners steak was medium but dry and tough.

Absolutely amazing pub!! Food is awesome every time we go there. I have organised rides to finish at the Pub and they are always every accomodating and helpful and everyone loves the food.

Have been here a handful of times. I couldn't fault the most recent time.

Went for lunch w my daughter. Food was lovely..crumbed cutlets n vegies for me cooked well and tasty. Schnitzel for my daughter lovely bit big for her but she enjoyed it.

We have been twice, the place and the staff are warm and welcoming, so friendly! The food was faultless, delicious to the max! The Beef Cheeks just melt in your mouth, the ribs and wings are just perfect while watching the football on the big screen. Such a great happy family-friendly pub atmosphere

Visited for lunch, the meals were perfect and I was quite surprised how nice the atmosphere inside and out was, definitely a great place to catch up with mates.

If you love a good feed of smoked meat...the this is the place. Huge serving size and super tastey. Really good pub feed and great to share nice food while enjoying a drink.

The food is amazing, the staff are exceptional and the atmosphere is family friendly. If you're looking for an unbelievable meal that's great value for money, you won't go past this place!!

This is a well set out hotel and the bistro menu offers something for everyone. Our lunch was delicious and fresh. I will be going back.

Staff abrupt rude and stressed during covid which is understandable but dont take it out on your good loyal customers. Very upsetting and disappointing

Great food. Very relaxed and awesome for the kids as there is a play area for them.

Excellent selection of craft beers and a truly excellent coffee martini. Good atmosphere inside the bistro, outside on a Saturday seemed like it would be a bit to loud and hectic for me. Dam burger was pretty good, but the steaks were a bit average, particularly for the price, would have liked a hotter sear on the outside.

Staff are friendly and service is great, would recommend trying the steak Scotch Fillet or Rump both are absolutely delicious and a generous portion size..

Kids pasta was not that great however overall the pub is a great place for a family dinner or a few cold beers.. Plenty of parking, If your looking to dine inside the bistro I would suggest making a booking in advance as it can get busy on weekends.

Nice family pub, the food was very tasty and great size portions, definitely worth the money. Would be preferable to have a lower music volume in the eating area though. Outside and inside play areas for the kids are handy. And great selection of tap beers.

Nice local pub with good food and friendly service. Squid was perfectly cooked not rubbery like in most places. Will definitely be back.

I think their menu used to be a lot better. Not enough choices as I used to get a meat platter but the only option was a bit much. Staff were very friendly and it was a good atmosphere

Bottle shop is one of the cheapest around.$45 Brisket dish I returned because it was covered in mint sauce & full of fat the manager kindly returned my money & replaced it for free with two $30 steak meals which was great.Later we ordered a jug of orange juice which was practically water & my kids wouldnt drink I then went & returned that as well to get replaced.The staff are really nice & the place is clean.I would of given 5 stars but the food was there let down.
