Dropping in, first visit to this pub open plan pub good menu with a pool table

Great steak cooked perfectly medium rare. Generous amount of chips. The salad was good but also and if it was larger I would have rated the food 5 stars.

Had a nightcap drink, great service, bright, clean, will definitely go back for a meal. Janelle was brilliant

The kitchen closed at 7.30pm so we had to rush our irder. The steak was not tender at all. The steamed veg was cold and they had no mashed potatoes, had to settle for leftover lunch roasted potatoes.
The Bar closed at 8.30pm.

I ordered the pork belly it came with mash and broccoli.
The pork was like leftovers reheated and was greasy with crackell that was black on places and the broccoli was burt as well. Only ate the potato and a bit or pork .
I told the waitress when see collected the plates and she told the chef and that was it. No remorse or apology.
I have eaten there on many occasions. BUT THAT WILL BE THE Last.

Love this Hotel for food, friends and service is superb. Wiill definitely be back many times.

Newly renovated after being devastated by floods. Deserves to be better patronised, hopefully trade will pick up. Very friendly staff.

Great and friendly service. Many, many beers. Outside seating area.

Food portions were tiny. Stingy with the chips. When we said something to the waitress she was aggressive till we said her attitude sucks then she was polite. We won't be back.

It was our friendly local restaraunt pub that we went to for many years with our children.
New management has changed it to a bullying unfriendly pub. Especially since covid- the staff take to much pleasure in being overly authoritarian!
It was our local for 12 years, won't go there anymore or the bottle shop!

P.S. front bar staff are unfriendly, restaraunt staff are separate and lovely

Country pub in middle of Mullumbimby. Has good food and coffee. Outdoor eating area to.

Nice pub, friendly staff but the menu never changes.

The pub was clean but quiet we just stopped to have lunch and WOW seriously the best food I've had in years price was great and we had 3 beautiful dishes could not fault a thing!! Cheers guys and thank you.

I had a steak and a beer on a quiet Monday evening and it was just what I needed. The steak was perfect, obviously a good quality scotch fillet cooked just how I asked, and the vegetables were interesting and delicious. Service was friendly and quick and the atmosphere quiet. I had a good night and will go back.

Staff are lovely here. Food is excellent quality and priced well. The meat was fresh and tasty and so was the fish.
Very nice and relaxing atmosphere.
Also has a pretty big bottleshop drive through hidden around the side. Recommend this place!

Haloumi fritters are recommended. Very nice.
Update: tried the steak there the other night. It was fantastic and I would highly recommend. It's a typically quite place and it could do with a bit more choice with respect to beer. But I always enjoy myself there. So go, eat steak, drink with friends
