Great venue. The staff were all very polite and provided top service. Was great to watch the live bands and also have a game of pool. Plenty of out door space and a wide open area on the inside. My only complaint was that the bathroom could be checked more often to make it comfortable for patrons.

Casual place great for a quick lunch. Food was delicious and generously portioned.
All the team were friendly and happy to chat. Atmosphere was quiet and relaxed despite the hustle and bustle of the main road right outside, which you forget exists the moment you walk inside.
Plenty of available parking out the back, and a few minutes walk from the beach.

Review is for the Beaches Bistro food.
It was pouring. Headed into the Thirroul pub for a dry spot. Happened to be a Thursday, 2 for one schnitzels.
Took up the offer, not disappointed. HUGE servings. Two veal schnitzels for $26.00. They were enormous, tender and tasty

Came here on our way down from Austinmer to Wollongong. The venue was pumping and was a lot of fun. Everyone was very welcoming considering we weren't from the area. The staff were friendly also. The drinks were affordable and the music was great. Highly recommended stopping in for a beer if you are passing by or in the area.

Stopped there for a meal.
Easily the worst fish and chips I've EVER had. Inedible.
It was like...they'd caught some mullet, left it for 6 days then frozen it, then thawed it, then let it sit a day or two, then served it up.
The calamari was at least edible, but not much more.
Truly dire.
