Back in the day this place (formally called the Amble Inn) used to have an okay pub menu and ambience and friendly attentive service. Fast forward to 2024 and the Corindi Beach Hotel is an absolute shadow of its former self. ZERO ambience, the first thing you notice is the war zone of an outdoor dining area and shredded remnants of what used to be an awning over the area. It's a sorry sight and wreaks of neglect and lack of pride. The employees appear like they have no morale and understaffed. When asking at the bar for cocktails that were advertised (at the bar) the bar lady said there'll be no cocktails that night as they have none of this or that and that they are too understaffed to serve cocktails. Her demeanour and the rest of the staff was flatter than my glass of lemon lime and bitters. To make matters worse my daughter's kids burger wasn't cooked in the middle and was raw - not pink- RAW. I had to flag this with staff and the manager because it was a major concern. The creamy garlic prawns I ordered was slop in a bowl, which the cream was congealing nicely on top of the rice. We agreed to the offer of the refund for the burger but this has been the most pathetic state of decline we have seen over the past 6 years of visiting this pub. A bulldozer may be the answer as clearly no love has been put towards this place. Dark, outdated and old. It needs a major overhaul. Whoever the owner is now, they have been barely doing the minimum to keep the joint functioning and its an embarrassment.there used to be a nicer alfresco area at the back but it's been sacrificed to make way for a dingey pokies area. We certainly won't waste our time and money here. A tired, rundown and unloved 'Shamble Inn.'

Good but could be clearer with food service, the bar server gave us a menu at 3:05 and told us where to order. When we went to order the kitchen had closed at 3.

My partner and I had the best first experience at Corindi thanks to The Amble Inn. They picked us up from our accommodation and dropped us off, the food was delicious, with big plates and the Staff was so welcoming.

Atmosphere is okay, nothing special, bistro seating is average, service from the bar is quick but bistro service is pretty bad. It's gotten better but still very slow, to the point where you can be standing at the counter for 2-3 minutes without placing an order. Even when you do order its hit and miss. I'll attach a photo of a $23 Casear salad. $23. I got 3 pieces of toasted turkish, maybe 30g of bacon, a hard poached egg then half a bowl of lettuce, no exaggeration. Pizza is the only reason I continue to buy dinner here.

My family ordered steaks most of us ordered medium. I'm not sure what was done to those poor steaks but I'll tell you that it was the worst steak we've ever eaten. The salad was fresh and the chips were nice. Friends of ours ordered the risotto and said that it was unpalatable. We won't be returning which is a shame because it looked like a lovely pub.

Large local pub near Corindi Beach, nth of Coffs Harbour. They have different areas, inside and out and Wednesday is Trivia night. We ate dinner in the back beer garden with our two small dogs. Parking was no problem in the large car park.
The menu has lots of choices and multiple vegetarian options (see menu in photos). Staff were very friendly, meals came quickly and serving size was generous. We ordered garlic bread, Buddha bowl and Garlic Prawns (12 Large prawns in serve!) We will return to try out the rest of the menu.

Two consecutive Saturday night meals with only juniors in the kitchen?.. meals were really shocking.. ordered chicken breast and got two pieces of overcooked snitzel? Tough and unappealing..
Other meal, spaghetti bolognaise had no flavour and presented as a pile of mush..
Why, on a busy Saturday night they have no senior staff working the kitchen?
The only thing that looked okay was the pizza..

The food was great fresh and well done the staff were friendly really nice place to have drink and meal reasonable price ,will definitely be back.

I had the grilled barramundi with chips and salad and it was really good.

Ordered veggie burgers for the kids and Buddha Bowls for adults. Kids enjoyed and started picking off our plates as the Buddha bowls were presented so nicely. Good sized meals and tasted as good as it looked. Forgot to take a pic before digging in.
Super friendly staff, atmosphere/decor just needs updating. Highly recommend.

Great country style pub. Feels cosy. The food is awesome and lunch specials well priced which is hard to find with all the inflation these days. Very much a locals pub; but everyone's friendly.
Great stop off between Coffs and Grafton, would be a solid lunch choice for long distance road trips. Pokies and family area is well seperated. Staff are super friendly too. 5 stars.

Bar staff are really nice that's why 2 stars instead of one. The food was terrible. Ordered medium rare steak to allow for them room to stuff it up to medium instead I get well done. Mushroom gravy is just powder gravy with mushrooms very bland. I was offered another steak but wasn't game. Jalapeno poppers ordered as entree with cucumber in the salsa which I hate, should have asked what was in it my fault. Wife and mother had fish with 2 very different stingy sizes and cooked like jerky. Don't eat there, do yourself a favour and go to Maccas. I was refunded a fish meal which I appreciate but I had to whinge about it all which I don't like. Should have been refunded the 10% surcharge as well. $160 for 3 adults and 2 kids with 1 entree is expensive.

Great little pub. Giant backyard area, I wish we had bought a ball. Was great for my toddler to run around in our way through.

Had the best night out with friends. On sat night. While visit the area. The club came & pick us up from our accommodation. It was busy but the staff were so very friendly & the meals were great. So was the band. ?? we will definitely be back. Next visit.

We have called by for pizza at lunchtime quite a few times. They were great but today we were told they don't do pizza at lunchtime. So, went for bangers and onion gravy with vegetables, apparently mash is off the lunch menu too ???".
Meal came out with bangers, onion gravy and chips, no other vege. Took it back to get vegetables added. Meal came out with everything but clearly, the bangers and chips had not been kept hot while the vegetables were being done.
Looks like we'll be trying Moonee Beach Tavern next time.

I had the Top Notch Schnitty, schnitzel was crisp, chips we're fresh from the fryer, please keep making food like this, was watching the kitchen do their thing on late Sunday arvo, what a good kitchen. beautiful place, well done with food I haven't had such a good pub plate like this for a long time :) thank you

The Asian noodle salad with scallops and prawns was excellent, restaurant quality and unexpected to get such good food in a regional pub. Everything fresh and really tasty sauce, well done we'll be back.

My family and I were visiting the area and were recommended to go to the Amble Inn we enjoyed our meal and the COVID care was taken seriously.

Beautiful $15 lunch special. I had the chicken parm with chips and vegies. My partner had the steak. The seating area is very big, the tables are spaced out enough and there is a jumping castle for kids.

Fesh, yummy Buddha Bowl and delicious good portion Chicken Parma for lunch.
Good service.
But no tea or coffee served here, they dont offer at all when I asked.
At least there is self service water!

Food was great, portions were plentiful, service was good and the atmosphere was quiet enough for a dinner and drinks conversation with friends. Highly recommended.

Stopped in for lunch and was very impressed by the extensive menu and reasonably priced. Very friendly and welcoming staff providing a superb range of drinks. This is a well patronised venue for obviously good reasons. Can't wait to go back again.

Stopped and had lunch here. Really nice inside, staff friendly. Meals were delicious and massive, but they do offer take away containers for a very small price. Would definitely go back there.

AMAZING RUMP STEAK . My wife and I have traveled many places on the road with our caravan in 2 years . we eat out many times in that time. but no lie the amble inn is the best RUMP STEAK EVER .we settled in coffs harbour. now and every 2 weeks we travel 40 km to Corindi pub for there rump steak. never have I had a tough steak from this pub . price is amazingly perfect . went to butchers spent $60 kg and could not eat it .. we never buy a STEAK from anywhere else. this STEAK MOUTH WATERING all the best wishes to the amble inn Carolyn & Paul YUMMY YUMMY

Fantastic food as usual

Having moved to the area 6 weeks ago we have had two lovely meals.Our first on a Monday night which the meal was great value and well presented.The second on a Monday lunch and again our meals were great. We have heard mixed reviews from locals but our experience is to highly recommend the meals and the atmosphere it's a lovely pub.

Very friendly, helpful and courteous staff. Lunchtime meals very reasonably priced. My friends had the salmon patties and then bought some to take home ( they said they were that good).
