Randomly came across this place as I searched last minute for a place to stay with my girlfriend while we were at our layover in Honolulu and oh man... I could not have lucked out any further.

Firstly the Uber was a quick ride as we had lots of luggage. The staff were extremely welcoming and kind. They explained everything about our stay clearly, checked us in quickly,, and helped us with our baggage up to the second floor.

All the suites have recently been renovated and being an Interior designer myself I was thoroughly impressed! Great choice of finishes which gave a beautiful refresh to a classic building. We stayed in unit 13 which while it was small, the high ceilings made the room feels spacious enough. It had a shower and separate room for the toilet/sink. AC was more than cool enough and plenty of storage for our belongings. The only complaint I would have is that the wifi reception was low to non existent at times as soon as we entered our room

Then you have the incredible staff! So friendly and helpful. Thank you Nolene, Audrey and Jared! Y'all are the best and really made the entire experience so memorable. You were so accommodating and made us feel so loved. If only all hotel employees were like you 3. Linda and I had an amazing stay and we will recommend this place to anyone we know who ever plans on visiting syndey.

Oh also I almost forgot to mention that the food they serve is BOMB, so delicious. We ordered the lamb rump on the first night and I will have dreams of that rump until the day I return!

My friend Katie and I stayed here last week. We were the first guests they had after a big renovation. The room was beautiful and cosy, plus had contactless/smart locks which was great as it meant we didn't have to look after a key. The team from the hotel were amazing and were very generous and accommodating. They helped us out as we were both new to visiting Sydney. A big thanks to Andrew, Dave and Noleen for the wonderful hospitality, you're all amazing ?? Close to airport and not too far to drive for most amenities. Would 100% recommend staying here.

Tempe has just opened their newly renovated accommodation upstairs above the pub. Great location close to the airport and station and very comfortable beds. Great price.

Great refurbished pub in an area of the Princes Highway we use to call "the nothing". Not any more... delicious food, good selection of beers, and refurbished decor back to the hotels former glory days.

The Tempe Hotel is back. Invited down for their little re-opening night. The place looks great, the service was stella. So welcoming, the beer was crisp and the chicken burger succulent. Thanks for having me, keep up the great work. Highly recommend.

The only active bar is outside. The beers are cold and tasty. There are food trailers.

I've only been lately during happy hour (5-7pm) but look forward to the renovations getting completed.

Very pleasant, good friendly staff.
No entertainment. Only small screen's if you want to watch footy or sport,no keno theirs a few poker machines not every one likes gambling.
This might all be due to the hotel being waiting for much needed renovation to the rest of the hotel.

Although the pub is currently undergoing renos there is still a decent range of beers, pity they got rid of the Albo ?, a daily happy hour for cheap beers as well. Friendly and hospitable staff

Currently undergoing renovations so only has a beer garden and pokie area, but super chilled out and relaxing place, on a main road near public transport if you have a few too many

Nice to see them back open. The tempery bar set up during renovations has a great range of willy the boatman beers.
The food is american style bbq with an impressive smoker in.the beer garden which is done by fired up bbq.

Pleasantly surprised, food was great and staff were friendly. Recent renovation has opened it right up and beer garden out back.

Stopped in on stinking hot day...no air cond, but a breeze blowing down corridor...very old school pub with old school cheap prices....5 stars coz they had 2 Willie the boatman brews on tap...nice cold, hit the spot, and $7.80 a schooner is great price for Sydney craft beer...good to wet the whistle but prob not to linger...

The sirloin steak was fairly tender (cooked medium rare). The beef paddy in the cheese burger was delicious however the buns were disproportionately thick (and dense). Bar service was friendly and cheerful. Great overall first visit experience. Look forward to coming back.

Food is great and very reasonably priced. I wasn't expecting much from a $14 steak but it hit the mark. The decor is looking a bit tired and the men's toilet is the thing of nightmares. the usual suspects are available on tap with a few local brews too. Great hangout for locals but you wouldn't? bring a first date here
