Good food and cold drinks. . New owners, place is looking very sterile but fresh, looks more like a restaurant then a pub, not much to keep me going back. No pool table, dart board, pokies.

Appears to be going out of business as it was closed when we called in today - pity was looking forward to a great pub meal.

Venue is supposed to open at 11, arrived at 12:23 and not open, by the looks of the homeless people living in the carpark the food would have been terrible.

Great local pub, awesome small country atmosphere, great service, worth the stop only 1x minute off the highway, beer is cold, 3x pokies for the quick slap and awesome food. Will stop here again.

The owner is the nicest most approachable person there is. Beautiful cheap drinks food and absolutely divine pizzas. Beautiful dogs out the back (wolf x German sheppard) defiantly worth a visit!!!!! This pub/hotel is definitely a must go to! Stop in next time you pass, you won't wanna leave.

Absolutely delicious. Stopped in town for petrol and decided to grab some dinner too. Ordered the rump steak and parma and the food was simple but perfect.

Steak amazing quality - perfectly medium as requested, chips so crisp and mushroom sauce magnificent.

Parma also great - melty oozy cheese and thick juicy chicken.

Friendly country pub, great place to stop to refuel the body. Typical hearty meals.

The pub itself is a bit of a dive, and it was 40 degrees C outside. We were hoping for a cool-off and were disappointed. But the three stars are for the food! Great home-made pub grub, rissoles mash and veggies cooked just right, and the lamb cutlets were good too :)

Wow!! What a find this place was. We stopped here as the google rating was high and we weren't disappointed! It may look like a small country hotel however the food would rival the best restaurants in Melbourne! The chicken Parma was so moist and tasty and the home made rissoles were off the charts! The service was fantastic and they even made our dog feel welcome with her own meat and bones. We will definitely be back and recommending this place to other travelers of the Hume Hwy.
