Tasty Chinese food, especially loved the Mongolian beef.

Nice enough place, obviously the place the locals like to stay. Could do with a better range of beers on tap including local tumut beer. Chinese food was standard but tasty

Fresh foid abd quick service. Good fir casual eating. Actually there are not that many places to choose. So that one is good! Also pub with pool game and fireplace. Chinese restaurant.

Ok it was not a busy night but our food came very quickly and it was good! Much to our surprise full of fresh vegis,tasty and plenty of it

Possibly the worst meal I've ever had. I think someonhe forgot to put any filling in the spring rolls and the sauce in the chow mein tasted and smelt so vile I couldn't eat it, even after scraping the sauce off the frozen veggies. My husband ordered chicken and cashew but couldn't identify which part of the chicken the 'meat' was from. Maybe the beak? Or toenails? Again, inedible.
And is the draught beer watered down??
Disappointed after reading all the good reviews. Maybe just an off night?

Amazing views from the restaurant window. Came here on boxing day when the takeaway and supermarket were closed. The mature lady that served me told us 15 minutes but takeaway order took over 25 minutes. They should under promise and over deliver rather than make customer wait with no apology. I have never seen a 1L chinese food container. The portions were huge. The flavour was great, stayed hot for hours, only negative was the extra wait time and abit watery. The sweet and sour pork was a little soagy. Maybe not fresh. But otherwise still tasted good

Went to Talbingo for a weekend away to celebrate my parents 50th wedding anniversary and visited the Happy Chilli Garden for dinner as my dad loves Chinese.
Well our meals were fabulous. Prompt, hot and tasty. Highly recommend.
And thanks for making my parents anniversary memorable.

What a great find. The perfect way to end a long day on the road. Food was fresh and tasty, club had fires going and good service all round.

Very basic restaurant but with great family service & delicious food

Food is terrible! Do not recommend at all. Don't even try order even if you are starving. View amazing!

Lovely area to visit. Shower had lot a of mould in it. Resturant not open but club did let's us know in advance so we could plan. Cooking appliances were in the room, bbq facilities.

Arrived here at 4:00 pm , reception was closed and we had to wait till 5:00 pm. Confirmed my booking which was secured with my American Express Card but then could not pay with it. Had to use a different card. Entrance to room was difficult with a very high step through soil. Room was clean. However, the air conditioner was set to 18 all night long and even with assistance from the ceiling fan we still woke up hot. We had dinner at the Chinese restaurant. The separate dining room had speakers hooked up to the main bar and we were bombarded with very loud announcements about the meat raffle and other sports results whilst trying to eat. The food was very ordinary and the fried rice was inedible with just too much salt. Never again. Does not deserve one star.

Top little golf club run by volunteers who are very welcoming and accomodating. In a terrific part of the world and well worth a visit.

Wow what a hidden treasure. Eating on the balcony in the sun and enjoying a cool drink with lunch. Lovely!

Stayed in the motel, friendly staff and locals, great little escape for the family.

Great service at the bar and lovely people and faces. Some of the food, notably the beef satay was a little bit rough, but overall I'd definitely dine and drink here again (probably ordering a different meal), especially for the friendly atmosphere and the excellent and simple service.
