Great place, food and views.
The night was spoiled by people who don't respect other people space and surround you just to take photos.
Unfortunately sitting near the glass wall is not recommended.

Kids also think that they are at playground moving around bumping into you and singing loud and at no time do parents apprehend there children.
It's a shame, I won't be going back to soon.

Had dinner with the family and kids tonight and definitely coming back again.

Great food, not overly priced, plenty of sitting areas inside and outside and with the perfect waterviews as the backdrop.

Areas are all secured and enclosed so great for the younger children to run around outside.

Thank you

Great view! If you can get a spot near the windows looking out of the water then you'll really get the full experience.
We came for afternoon tea on a busy Sunday afternoon. I enjoyed the chocolate dome. It was very rich and had a nice texture. The dome is like a soft mirror glaze rather than temperted chocolate, like I expected. I had a pot of tea as well, and I would have liked loose leaf tea but it came with a tea bag instead. Oh well.
I think that management may have needed to put on more staff because they seemed to be run off their feet. Lots of turn over at the tables meant a bit of a build up of glasses and general detritus at tables at every change over.

Had Sunday lunch with mum, unfortunately the pizza was not woodfired but I realise they never promised that. The s&p squid doesn't need RSL levels of batter, please keep it simple and just use some salt and pepper on the squid.

Great place to have a meal and one of the few places in Sydney you can do so as you watch the sunset over the Paramatta River.
Service is always fantastic and the food is delightful and reasonably priced.

Great view. Nice place. Lots of staff so service was quick and friendly. There is parking. Food was good but I didn't have anything worth bragging about. I'll be back.

Wow! What a view!!!! Hop on a ferry from Circular Quay, Barangaroo, or wherever you might be located (way more fun than driving there!) and take the 20ish minute ride to the Abbottsford dock. Do you see the inviting-looking building with a deck over the water and floor to ceiling windows? That's the Sydney Rowing Club! Take the short 2 minute walk up the hill to the entrance.

Is it a private club? Yes. Can you dine there without a membership? Yes indeed. Just show your ID and you're in. Want to sit at a table next to the window? How about in a comfy chair or on a sofa? Would you prefer to sit outside next to the water? All of these are options here.

Order your beverages at the bar, and order your food at the Watergrill counter; they will deliver to your table. (You pay a little extra if you aren't a member.)

The Lobster & Prawn Roll was amongst the best meals we've had lately, with loads of filling and a side of chips. The Pumpkin Salad was fresh and flavorful, and generously portioned. The Broccolini was served al dente and with an added squeeze of lemon made the perfect side dish. There are a variety of desserts that change daily. We enjoyed the Chocolate Ganache and the Passion Fruit Cheesecake, although the desserts weren't quite as outstanding as the mains.

Do you know what WAS outstanding though? The view of the sunset. Try to time your visit so that you can watch the daylight fade to nighttime across Sydney Harbour. Spectacular! A moonlit ferry ride back to Circular Quay (or wherever you might be going) is the perfect ending to your visit to the Sydney Rowing Club!

Incredible food, views and atmosphere make this a "must go" in Sydney. Our table had both the hot and cold seafood plates as well as many of their signature cocktails from the bar. Try the "Summer Cobbler" and be prepared for heaven. I also ordered an "Old Fashioned" with Makers Mark and it was nothing short of perfect. Spent the afternoon here and cant wait to do it all over again!

Family friendly restaurant. Parking is convenient and such a good location with view. Good selection of food and deserts + drinks of course.
Good for birthday parties and functions too.

I've been coming here for years. Sydney Rowing Club is one of my fave spots in Sydney to chill or relax with family and friends for drinks or a meal. The staff are great, the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, and the views are spectacular on a sunny day. Parking can be an issue on weekends and peak times but not as busy on week days.

The view here is beautiful, you can't beat it really. The outside area is well set up with a sensational canapy just the right height to shield the sun and open out this brilliant view. The food, however, was not so great today. We waited over 45 minutes for three salads, they were small, dry and not appealing, my Ceasar salad was a very small serving and cost $21 with no extras, invisible bacon and light on dressing. The prawn salad was a bowl of white vermicelli noodles with a couple of sad looking prawns on-top, no dressing (oops guess the kitchen is busy), where is the salad in this dish I wondered. Other people ordered deep fried fish, chicken, lots of chips and that looks like the club grub they do best. Hard to get chips and deep fried food wrong, it's the right location for it. Still, I thought it was expensive. You pay at the counter so there is no table service but we waited an hour after eating to get our plates cleared in the end we went and ordered coffee, which was $9 for two luke warm cups of pretty ordinary coffee. Lots of nice cakes but $4.80 for a shortbread biscuit, and only one gluten free option. The place was pretty busy and as there was noone really free to clear plates people's left over food was getting attacked by birds which flew through the restaurant. The people servering at the counter, bar and at sign in were pleasant, and efficient. Parking not so easy, there is a carpark but it was very full, but you can get a bus or ferry easily enough which would be great. Wheelchair accessible, it ticks a lot of boxes. Mixed experience, I'd go again at a different time of day.

We had an enjoyable lunch. It was pretty good value. The lemon meringue pie was amazing. The view is obviously up there!
The only feedback is it'd be nicer if we don't have a plastic container for the sauces. It kinda ruin the overall presentation and experience. Just the extra few dollars of little saucers would have made the huge difference.

Beautiful spot with an upmarket but relaxed feel. The service at the bar was great and the food was quite tasty too. Food service was also quite speedy. Would definitely recommend checking this place out for a spot to eat during the week at lunchtime, when it's not overly busy. The buttermilk chicken was absolutely delicious.

The car park, the club and the view are stunning. Hard to imagine better. The food was another thing. My vegan friend ordered mixed steamed vegetables and they were under cooked. The hamburger i ordered was average. I also ordered sweet potato fries thinking that no fries came with the burger as they were not mentioned in the menu. The person who took my order didn't mention either. Ended up with both lots of fries. Person clearing plates did not ask why vegetables were not eaten. Disappointing.

Nice location. Seafood platter for 2 was a big disappointment. Cold platter was just OK.Lobster was nice, as was the Calmari. Too much was done to every other piece of seafood. Quality produce should not be so badly treated.

Venue is amazing and food was fantastic, but our afternoon was ruined by two very self entitled young female staff members' including the floor manager.
After nicely advising the floor manager of the poor attitude and service received by one of the bar staff, the entire attitude towards my self and the company I was with became very hostile, and instead of addressing her rude staff member we were asked to leave instead!
I feel extremely disappointed in the management of this situation after spending a lot of money, as it appears that the venue was being run by a group of young kids (mean girls) rather than the professionals that I would have expected!!
