Not bad there rooms big enough for the stay

The room was nice. But the toilet had urine in it from previous occupants..... so not cleaned. Washed all the cutlery and crockery just in case that was missed by the cleaning staff. Good that there was a microwave. There was only one bedside table and lamp. The iron and ironing board were really good quality. The not so nice man in the next room had an issue with his room key and couldn't get into his room so urinated at our door way. Just charming. The bed was hard but ok

Rooms reasonably clean and comfy bed. Hotel closed at 6pm with no meals and really the staff and manager couldn't care if you were there or not.

The owner has a cool moustache & his daughter was hot.

We stayed here over night.
The staff are very unorganised. I had to go into the pub and ask for our room keys.

The room was very basic, which was okay for what we paid for but nothing like the photos online.

When we checked out the pub wasn't even open. I couldn't return the keys back until I started banging on the door to someone open.

Booking the room was fine, and the room had the potential to be really good. Moder kitchen & bathr , lots of space, two patios. But the only clean things in the whole unit was, the sheets, the towels and the toilet. The rest of it was filthy. Good price but needs to be a lot cleaner even for that money. No meals but the bowls club down the street was excellent. , short notice and no dramas. Room was good

Room was dirty, bathroom was dirty and stank, had to put towel under bathroom door to stop the smell coming into the main room..The air con and fridge was very loud, hard to sleep... friends we were travelling with room was great, no problems at all... if you are going to stay there, stay away from room 10.

I am staying at station Station Hotel Kuri Kuri for one night on 27 Sep 22. Few points I would like to highlight to help other travelers.
1) There is no free wifi here.
2) The Motel ( where you can have a quick bite )is closed for renovation.The pub is open. Nearest place where you can get a budget meal is the Coles supermarket, 1.5 km from the hotel.
3) My room has cockroaches.

This place is normally supposed to be good( I had booked it because of good reviews), but I think right now things don't look very bright.

Read the reviews comming up after this and then book..

No bistro, expensive beer, pool balls missing out the pool table.
Out door area is not covered so can't use when it's raining.
Good staff though

Service was quite appalling. First we were told we hadn't booked rooms(even when shown confirmation and payment), then that they weren't in the names we booked. Then there was something wrong with the payment. Finally got our rooms then one wouldn't open so back to reception. Back again for free wifi advertised to get the run around and ended up without it. Rooms (particularly bathrooms) could be cleaner and the aircon/heater was quite loud.
Paid for pool table but again back to reception as balls missing. 2 wrong drinks served.
The positives....it's close to Hunter valley gardens and alot more affordable than others in the vicinity.

Good....very clean. Friendly staff.
Bad...no kitchen sink...had to do dishes in the bathroom sink. And only 1 barstool chair for 3 guests.

Room and staff were nice. We stayed in room 4 very clean and roomy. Only thing I could recommend would be maybe have a more comfortable lounge to relax on.

The Station Hotel at Kurri Kurri has done an excellent job with their accommodation. I stayed in Room 4 which is in a corner of the accommodation section. The room is large and airy, comfortable bed, efficient air conditioning, windows that open, a neat kitchenette and a good bathroom.

The pub is older style, but has had some renovation. The beer was cold and my meal of fish and chips was satisfying.

The staff are friendly and professional.

It's a well priced option and one I'll choose again.

Excellent place to stay, I was working in Maitland and couldn't find any accommodation near the job. Kurri Kurri was the only place to go to, I ended up getting a motel room, very clean and modern, great meals at the pub. Will definitely stay there again if I am working in the vicinity.

Family stayed here and enjoyed the space and facilities. Would recommend and stay again.

Staff is so nice. They go above and beyond making our whole experience wonderful. We stayed in this hotel as we had to do hot air ballooning. Not very far from the ballooning place. Thank you so much for making our holiday great.

Nice clean room and bed was firm and comfortable, at $140 was well worth it
