We visited for lunch today and our meals were served within 20 minutes. My mate enjoyed his Smokehouse Beef Brisket. My pan-fried Barramundi was very fresh, served with crisp skin was so tender and tasty. I thanked Chef James Hamilton personally for the best Barramundi meal.

Our Coffees were intense and satisfying. We shared a Sticky Date Pudding, a perfect dessert to end our meal. Thanks guys for a wonderful lunch!??'?

We were there for mother's Day 2024. We were greeted beautifully and straight to our table. Mum's got chocolates and kids were given activity sheets. Face painting was available and farm animals outside that was enjoyed by adults and children.
The food was really nice and staff were working hard. We were very grateful for the lovely day and wonderful service. The food we received was high quality and tasty.
Please please make your homemade BBQ sauce available for purchase. Just love it....

OMG I cannot believe how bad that was the pic is what was left and the butcher plate was forced fed because of the cost. The Kids beef pasta was forced fed to my child thinking all she wanted to do was go play. So we had a try of it and wow it had no taste and the meat was obviously the brisket left over from unsold smoked meat from last week. The beef burger my son had the bun was burnt on top as well as the bottom and that dry my son added sauce and he hates sauce. My partner had green charred salad and that was wilted and flavourless. It's a Thursday night and it was absolutely disgusting and at 160 bucks damn they really need a kick up the rear end.

It was perfect for our family of 13. Phoned in to make booking and request to be seated close to the kids playground. We ended up outside next to the kids area which was perfect. I ordered the Butchers Board from the smokehouse menu and it was delicious. Ended up taking the leftovers home cause I couldn't finish off the meal.

Food was very average. Drinks expensive. Service was ok but place needs a good clean.

I feel a little sad leaving this review as Springlake Hotel has been a favourite for us since moving here 15 years ago. We had lunch today to check out the new renovation and for the first time I have to say the food was sub par. The salad was tired (lettuce browned, gelatinous and wilted from the dressing, the cherry tomato mushy and old, I couldnt bring myself to eat it). I ordered the fish and it was full of bones, so I didnt finish it. I ordered a medium steak for my husband which was well done with no pink and rubbery (assumed from microwave reheating) definitely not medium done. For the prices charged (near $35-40 a plate) it was subpar for the price point unfortunately. The service was nice, the background music was 2000s dreary/depressing (think Atomic Kitten Whole Again, Coldplay Yellow etc) It was a little bit of a downer.

We were a walk-in for Fathers Day. The staff were very accommodating and were very kind to our young daughter. Lovely atmosphere and fantastic food. The kids menu and play area is a big positive. Looking forward to our next visit.

Our family has celebrated many Birthdays and special events at Springlake hotel. We always enjoy ourselves, the good food and service. It's kid friendly and the perfect place to celebrate fathers day this year.

Been a while since we dined at Springlake Hotel. Entered and was greeted by the lovely Vietnamese lady Thuy , whose customer handing skills are superb. Likewise long-term employee Henry delivered drinks quickly, with a smile on his face. Great! I ordered tempura cod. What was delivered was oil soaked battered fish with chips loaded with chicken salt. Tempura is crispy and dry- this was an oil soaked mess - not tempura. Looked at the menu, prices have sky-rocketed. So conclusion is simple: high cost low quality food. We want to support local business, but this restaurant has gone backwards with higher pricing. It cant survive with high cost low quality food.

We held our Staff Meeting here over the weekend and we loved it. Adam went above and beyond to organise the room for us and the morning tea was delicious. Thanks guys we will definitely be coming back ??'?

Place is ok, however today I was disappointed to see that staff couldn't be bothered to serve people at the bar. Young gentleman looked completely unworried about a line of customers, walked past a few times and then came back in a cosy manner to serve. The food was nice.
An update for 31/7/2023: a young gentleman who was working tonight answered in a quite abrupt way when was asked to turn the air-conditioning down, stating basically he couldn't care less. The other staff member more experienced looking lady, was quite short with me on the borderline rude. Thus 1 star instead of 3.

The parmi was very nice and perfectly cooked. The brownie was warm and soft and perfect. I didn't expect this quality of food from a hotel, but it was really nice. Would recommend.

Mother's day buffet breakfast. What a great morning. We had a table for 10. Everyone loved it. Staff were very attentive, courteous and helpful. Food was awesome. If want a suggestion for improvement maybe get a mobile barista in carpark as the coffee and hot chocolate connoisseurs were hanging for good coffee. I didn't mind the coffee that was served. Just heard lots of comments. Young grandson loved the playing area.

Food was a bit pricey on first check, but my parmi was massive so def no complaints! Ordering app was a pain and didn't line up with what the physical menu said.

Food was great , staff were lovely and has a great kids play area close to where we were sitting so we could see our daughter play while we waited for our meals. Only criticism was that our meals came out a fair while after our daughters, not a huge deal. Great family venue, we will definitely be back 😊

Had a lovely meal here today, I was so pleasantly surprised. My husband has been a few times and always said the food was good but it exceeded my expectations. I ordered the barramundi and wow so good. Nice big thick portion and cooked to perfection with crispy skin. The duck fat potatoes are beautiful. Friendly, fast service. Will be back!

Chicken wings were a total rip off!! $14 for 6 tiny wings. Absolute robbery! Lamb roast meal also a rip off. Extremely small dish for $34.

Our food was brought out reasonably quick and staff were friendly.

First time last Wednesday night I was truly disappointed with this hotel, my friends and I have been eating there for years. First I had salt and pepper calamari and that tasted good, but it was sitting on soggy lettuce which made the calamari soggy. I then ordered steak with pepper sauce, I enjoyed the steak but the chips on the plate were drowning in BBQ powder ( I think, I only ate 1 chip), compared to the other plates their chips looked normal. Finally at 8pm, we went to order coffee and was told they had shut down the coffee machine and cleaned it ready for the next day, this was at 8pm.
A very disappointing night out, so we will be looking for a different venue to dine and catch up in future.

Have been going to hotel for years. Have always had a good a meal and service.
Had a catch up with old school mates had great time and food. To top it off I won the Saturday afternoon meat tray. Thanks to all the staff.

We had a group of 15 of us in for dinner last night. The staff were just wonderful, lovely and very accommodating. Excellent service. Food was very average though. Salad was good. All round atmosphere was lovely though. Very nice and modern and clean.

I'm always impressed with their salads. I got the budda bowl with calamari and it was GREAT ??'? Calamari was cooked perfect and it was so filling ??'?

Never had a bad meal here yet! Our local nut also favourite pla e to eat out as a family

Staff where amazing we wanted to sit outside but it was hot so our host Madeline fixed it and we got a table inside. I knocked over my wine and Madeline came strait over and fixed it and gave me a new wine. Food was great, atmoshere was fantastic. Will be coming back again.

Typical local watering hole. Meal was very good. Setting was nice with lake views. Plenty of parking.

Went here for Balls Out Bingo, which was held in the function room. Facilities were alright and the entertainment decent. Food took a long time, with one of our meals not coming until 830 (ordered at 7).

Lena was incredible to deal with on our visit. Without a doubt would recommend Springlake Hotel to anyone and commend her on her service.

Fair prices food was delicious more options would be nice 🙂 no prawn for our prawn topper sold out 😭

Just wanted to say a big thank you to Holly for her amazing service on Friday night. Not only taking our orders, bringing us our food but checking on us during our stay. My daughters were in love with 'the mermaid girl'. By far the best service we have ever gotten while out to dinner. She was easily the most bubbly, happy person there. Will definitely return

Was ok. Nice looking place. Had buffalo chicken wings. Wasn't buffalo chicken wings ...small starved baby chickens wings and it had a sweet chilli sauce on it. Tasted OK but I wouldn't have ordered it if I had known.
Wouldn't get it again.

Fantastic huge meals, both adults and kids. Although we were outside our kids were noisy but it didn't bother them, staff were friendly and great. They even offered doggy bags because we had so much food left over. There was a hiccup with one of our members not receiving their meal though they were apologetic.

Excellent Valentine's day meals and lovely service today. Great price for a 3 course meal too. Recommended!

The meals are fantastic and the staff are great. Lovely play space for children too. The problem is that this place is constantly understaffed even when they know that they have large bookings. 7-10 minutes wait to buy a beer is not uncommon.

Service was outstanding, such friendly, happy, helpful staff. The food was well presented, very tasteful and fresh. What a wonderful to place to have dinner.

One of my favourite places to eat or just have a drink. Perfect place for families as there is a designated area for kids and it also has video games.

We booked an Igloo tonight, and what an experience. Wow. We will definitely be back when they return. Julia our waitress was AMAZING. I would have to say that she has to be one of the best. I was so grateful that she got the kids meals sorted before ours, just a little thing but it made such an impact. She was very friendly, kind and attentive.We wouldnt hesitate to book another meal at Springlake

My husband and I visited saturday for a date night, great service with friendly staff. Large meals very impressed.Great practice in social distancing and cleanliness. My husbands steak was cooked perfectly.
