Very friendly staff lovely pub its a must to try they are very welcoming people..try there open mic on Thursdays and there live music on Saturdays and hopefully karakoe soon ..even just pop in for a drink to say hello and see what they have done with the place ..it lovely..

Went here for a quiet beer with a few mates and came out feeling like a country pub. The atmosphere and vibe was awesome, we couldn't stop talking about the next time we're coming back. We absolutely loved our time here and so excited to come back!! Highly recommend this place if anyone's passing by!!

As traditional and old school as a pub for a drink you can get. Unpretentious and brilliant at being a proper pub.

Don't order the pizza it's focaccia with minimal toppings and very overpriced. Then when I asked about it I was met with very rank attitude from both (owners I think). Would highly not recommend this venue. And in response to their response below (which is a lie) I say go focaccia yourself :)

Had a meal at Mozza which was ok, on returning to my car parked in the car park we noticed that another car had side swiped my car, leaving a 30 to 40 cm gouge in left rear door over my fuel tank flap & rear panel. Anyway went inside the pub to ask if they had CCTV of the car park.The answer was no from the publican, ok ok from me on my way. Only to be followed out of the pub by the publican, to the comment of 'well maybe if you didn't take a sneaky park where you shouldn't be'.I told him we just had a meal under his roof. Very poor form I thought & won't be recommending Mozza or his pub to anyone in a hurry

Rudest and drunkest drive thru attendant EVER... Surprised the place is still in business.. tried telling me they didn't have any 6 packs of Corona left, when I could see one right behind him but was too drunk to turn around and see it... I walked home with no booze, thank god i had some coke to take instead...

Went to Mòzza for dinner last night. Still a few minor issues (seeing as they have only been running a week) but overall the service and the food was great. Will definitely be going back to see how they changed and grown over time.

The worst. Dismissive, rude people working here. Not sure what atmosphere people are talking about...unless they mean the grimy-rundown-bar-fly-filled-pub kind of vibe. Not sure why a decent, well-known chef would tie themselves to this place, owners were unpleasant both times I have visited.

Ok so, I try to only review when a place is great, but this pub has been bad every time I've been here, so it is getting a review. Over the 5 yrs I have been in Thebarton, I have tried this pub around 4 times, and each time it has been bad ??'?. I have seen the owners yell at patrons, fight and call each other all kinds of names behind the bar, pull frozen supermarket pizzas from a freezer and sell them as 'house made', the owner sitting at the bar reeking of marijuana and struggling to sit on a stool, and have been spoken to so rudely in the bottle shop when asking what wine they have cold (this was after the first time I went through and every kind of white I asked for cold, they did not have). Each time I have put it up to people having a bad day - everyone has them - but after giving this place so many chances and hearing so many similar stories from friends and colleagues in the area I just can't believe this place is still in business.

Went to a 70th birthday party on Sunday . Staff were great and enjoyed the food and of course the Guinness. ???-??'?

Friday night curry specials for $10, other menu items for between $12 - 20. Good selection of beer, spirits etc. Sadly no cider on tap, but a few options in the fridge.

Ita a great old style pub, with a handy car park/tram stop near by. What's not to love.

I like this humble pub. There aren't many left that haven't had the life and warmth renovated out of them. The beer garden is in the drive through which is a bit unpleasant. Really relaxed neighbourhoodpub.

A friendly local pub with a log fire and chesterfield chairs. The publican cooked up a bbq on the Saturday afternoon for us!

Had a pleasant hour there. Service and beer good.

Zipped into the drive through on our way home. The lady serving was very disinterested in serving. Our 4yr old daughter tried desperately to ask her what they were cooking on the BBQ. After multiple polite attempts by our daughter the lady gruffly says " it's meat ..... can't you see?" Massive blow for a kid who is typically shy in social environments! Not the type of service you would expect from a "family run business".
