We booked the nook for my father's 90th birthday. Everything was fantastic, the food, the service and particularly Judy who was a wonderful host. Would definitely book there again. Highly recommend!!

We went to the Shell Club for lunch recently and was very pleasantly surprised.
The staff were very friendly and only to happy to help in any way.
We found the food plentiful and absolutely delicious.
After lunch, we decided to stay a bit and have coffee by the fire.
I highly recommend you pay a visit to the Shell Club.
We plan on going back very soon.

Shell Club is a Not-for-Profit Community Club with money going back in to supporting the local Community. The New Building Expansion is complete and can cater for large Functions and Events. The staff are welcoming and friendly. The Menu has many choices, with full Bar facilities.

So disappointed to see the menu change and now offer only 1 vegan meal and it's only an option not and outright vegan meal. If you have to remove a key ingredient and charge the same why even bother, just be open about having no main meal options that cater. This place used the be so good and now not worth visiting as they don't have options my group can all eat.

Thank you to all the Staff and especially Trish the supervisor last night who helped look after my partner Craig when he had an episode in the Restaurant you were amazing and so calm. He is OK and was discharged from the Hospital at about 1.10am after blood tests and were still not sure what's wrong but he's feeling a lot better today and taking it easy. All the staff that helped we would like to thank all of you and wish you a Very Merry Christmas with family and friends, we will definitely be back soon to thank you in person. xx 🎄🤶🎄

Always such a lovely lunch at the Shell Club. The ladies are all so friendly and helpful. Nothing is ever too much trouble. Food always delicious and I love the warm rolls with butter too.

Enjoyed my first meal here. I had the chicken schnitzel and it was perfectly cooked. The service staff were friendly, the food came out piping hot and all at once for a table of 4. Will come back.

Outstanding! The Shell Club is a must visit . Recently renovated they have thought of everything and more. Delicious meals with a great atmosphere plus great place to watch the game on the couch.

Because of my special dietary needs I emailed them a week before Pur booking.

Meals are usually really good. Friday night was busy. Everyone's food on the table. Looked good except for mine. I ordered the pumpkin salad. As there isn't very much more for vegetarians. Last time I order it back in January was great. So I orders it again. For $19.90 I would have expected a full bowl of salad. Last night I got a handful of rocket. Maybe 4 half cherry tomatoes and some pumpkin and feta. I could actually see the bottom of the bowl. Terrible for that price. Probably won't go back any time soon.

Went here with my family for the first time the shell club was very classy to me very clean also service was excellent such nice friendly staff. The food was beautiful good size plates. And very good standards with the food the presentation was great and the food tasted as good as it looked. Very happy with this place would definitely come back my daughter and husband liked there food also great how the kids get free ice cream etc my daughter had the biggest small on her face. But not that she finished it. Lol thank you for such a warm welcome difently would recommend here.. this is why l give 5 stars.

We were with another couple, on a Sunday night. We booked a table, just to be on the safe side.
Two had the roast of the day (pork), one had a bbq parmy with chips and salad, and one had nasi goring: all were very large, tasty meals.
Service was quick, and cheerful.
Drinks from the bar were very reasonably priced.
During the week several nights have great specials e.g. Wednesday night is steak night for $22.
Senior meals are available Monday to Friday.
Daily specials are very popular, usually a choice of 3 or 4.
We will definitely be back on a Wednesday night, to try the steaks, which looked delicious .

False opening hours!!!! The sign CLEARLY Says the club will close at 12am however when we got there 40 minutes before midnight the doors were locked and the cleaner kept us waiting for 10 mins and said that she will call the security guard, after waiting for 10 min the guard came and told us that the club is closed!? And I simply asked to let us in as we were there to play a game of pool (not a big deal) he refused and we're replying in an aggressive manner. What a waste of 30 minutes. ??'???-'have fun to the people who comes here. Should kept opening hours to 11:30pm instead of 12am 🥴

Handy place for a quick meal. We ate there before catching the boat to Tasmania. Good option. Better than the boat provides.

Went to the Shell Club this Wednesday, for the steak night absolutely sensational feed especially at the price. How good is it to actually get your steak cooked to the way you want it first time not having to send it back to get it cooked.
My wife and I can only recommend it. Staff were all great thankyou.

We go quite often and the roasts were amazing. The last few visits have disappointed us. Has got so much smaller and the pork crackle used to be great and plentiful also but have started deep frying it and is not good at all. Also took a long time to get a starter of bread then the food came out only just warm! I asked for mine to be microwaved and came back NO warmer. Such a shame uses to be very consistent but the waitresses are very very helpful and friendly. Just need to get back to how it wast a couple of months ago not sure if it's a new chef but will give them another go for sure.

Amazing looking interior.. just a shame the chef coughed all over everything in plain sight... Including the food plates he was dishing.
Also possibly fake reviews on the website... The same photos of people are used for a vet in America.

Can you tell the chef not to cough all over the place including over food and on plates that the food is served on.
If you're unwell as a chef then you shouldn't be working. This goes against food safety handling which anyone handling food has to do this training and should be well aware of.

Very spacious, clean and modern facility. Staff was polite and patient with us as we weren't familiar with the Covid protocol at this time. We plan on booking this place for a big upcoming function. Worth checking out.... oh yeah, the food was quite good. Lol

Portion wise a little small if your a big eater but over all taste fantastic

Had the Risotto last week and it was delicious, best risotto I have had, so we came again a few days later and I had the Roast Lamb and vegies and it was great portion size, allot of meat which is rare these days. Loved it. You don't mind paying for decent food (even though both meals were a good price anyway, same as you would pay anywhere else)

Great meals, big portion sizes, clean venue, customer service was great too. Was quite impressed. I used to bring my Mum here years ago and was good then and even better now, will definitely be back here more often.

The meals here are delicious and the staff are really friendly. The options of side dishes with the main are flexible, which is fantastic. Would definitely go again, and recommend to anybody.
