This is a great place to dine outdoor. Magnificent ocean views. Don't stay indoors and miss them. Great budget menu. Good food and variety. Only problem our big party had to be seated where our view was the green. Which was nice anyway. Otherwise it was perfect. There were so many young people and families who were cleverer than me and booked outside. Certainly a great place to eat in these times.

Being English, being invited to the local bowling club didn't fill me with excitement. This place blew me away, live music, great beers, fantastic atmosphere and great staff. My option of bowling clubs (Aussie style) will never be the same again!!

It's like going back in time . I was taken back to my childhood when we would visit my nan at her club after her bowls game for a family lunch. The staff are genuinely friendly, not put on for show or just to get customers. The peanut satay stry fry was yummy.

It's a great location and has very cool vibes, with an awesome beverage selection. The space needs a little bit of love and a lick of paint. We ordered a bowl of chips and sadly they were probably the worst chips I ever had sevred in cardboard box. A bowlo needs to be able to churn out a bowl of good pipping hot chips. I'll continue to support the business. Hopefully they take feedback seriously.

Great venue, great staff and fabulous food, what more could you want. Food is always served piping hot, with a delicious selection of Thai and western meals on offer, there is something for everyone, our favourites are the Pad Kee Mao, fish and chips, the steak is always great. The duck wins us over again and again, and the fabulous selection of entrees ???- keep up the great work bowlo.

We was camping nearby so decided to get some food for dinner. Looked online and saw that closing time would be at 10pm so we came around 7:45. We didn't know the area and it was our first time visiting the restaurant so we were just looking through the menu. However, the staff was kind of annoyed and told us to quickly order as they were closing with an unfriendly tone. We ordered two dishes and ate quickly as we saw they were closing. We finished after like 15mins and walked out. The staff in the cashier area just looked up didn't even say thank or bye to us even though she was very friendly all the customers leaving before us, she all said bye and greeted them but just glanced at us as we leaving. I never complain about any restaurants that I've visited but this is really frustrating for me. On the other hand, the staff at the bar was really friendly and helpful. Just wanna enjoy our day off with camping and Coledale beautiful weather but this visit really ruined our night.

Order the seafood fried rice, I've eaten all over Australia and this is simply so satisfying at a low cost. Treasure found!. Great environment for social or family dinner. Eat & you'll share a swell x

Jan 2023: Great old school place. Well priced drinks and good drink selection (real beers, not all Hoppy / fruity craft beer) plus excellent food and great portions for the price. Excellent indoor and outdoor areas. Great place.

Fantastic location. Great view and welcome sea breeze outside eating area. Typical bowling club with low key furnishings but great prices and quality food.
Caesar salad with spicy chicken was huge and fresh. Satay chicken, mussman curry and reef & beef all delicious.

Fantastic atmosphere, full of young families most weekends. Great food from the Bistro. Spectacular views of the ocean, with the beautiful escarpment behind the club.

Saw Caravãna Sun there, brilliant vibes. Bar staff all super friendly, lines not too bad, food great - really great atmosphere and venue. Lawn bowls under lights looked fun, I'll be back.

Great old school venue with a cool vibe. The beer selection is awesome and not that of your typical bowlo ( but don't worry they have the classics if that's what you're into!). The food is top notch, and the staff even more so!!!

Pad Kee Mao on the Thai dinner menu was brilliant. There's an awesome vibe and atmosphere here and i'd love to bring the fam here one day.

This bowls club has one of the best views of any bowls club I've been to. Staff are friendly and the whole place has a relaxed vibe.

Always a great place to have lunch. Food comes out quick and always tastes good.

Black Duck was delicious. Had a duck salad and the kids fried rice and it was more than enough for our lunch for 3 today! (2 adults and a toddler)Really generous amounts of duck in the salad and a nice tangy dressing. The fried rice was decent. Would definitely consider trying a wider range next time, hopefully we will be hungrier on our next visit

Extensive menu chinese as well as aussie fare like burgers, snittys, steaks etc all affordable and not overpriced. Parking available on site, wheelchair accessible, club has extensive ocean views. Friendly staff, covid safe sign in process. I had the steak with 4 large prawns on top, with lots of chips, gravy selection and salad for $24.60.Highly recommend.

Loved the steak. It was so succulent and so juicy. I enjoyed every bite of it.

Great little club for a relaxing beer. Fantastic view and nice out in the sun. Definitely need a second story on the club for the view.
