Great location with a beautiful sunny beer garden out the back. Staff are always exceptionally friendly and welcoming. I only ever go here when it isn't too busy, but the atmosphere is lovely. Their steaks are excellent and reasonably priced. Definitely worth stopping in.

Great little pub in Stanmore that does delicious pub food.

I particularly like the outdoor dining area which has a truck that kids like to play on.

This is a lovely pub which has a dining area with booths and a main bar with TV's, a casual area near the dining room a nice courtyard. So four distinct areas. Main bar service is excellent and on Wednesdays it runs drag bingo.
The food is not great it's pub food but not good. We have been there a number of times and keep hoping it will improve. If the food could get to the same standard as the pub itself it would be awesome!
When food comes really quickly you know it's pre heated!
Good place for families average cost of main $18-20. Drinks reasonable price.
Friendly staff good range of beer. Good crowd.
Toilets clean, plenty of parking around streets.
We had chicken pies, peas and mash
Pitza and some chips.

I love this pub, but the beer selection is horrible. If you're not going to have interesting beers on tap then at least have them available in cans. Would give 5 stars if there was 1 beer I would actually like t drink.

Cool vibes with a band playing on Sunday afternoons. The schnitzel with garlic butter is extra, but that mushroom sauce is made well. Who doesn't like dining outdoors beside a tree with sprinkley fairy lights enjoying banter, music, and a vino?! ??

First time here, Food was really good! Had the Warm Salad w/chicken and Tacos. Enjoyed the atmosphere, will visit again!

Great pub food with friendly service and a great vibe. We had a variety of food including fried calamari, Southern fried cauliflower, buffalo wings, chicken burger, chicken parmi, steak, fish tacos and pizza. All were great. Will definitely return. Highly recommended.

Nice pub with main bar having plenty of screens to watch sport. Nice beers on tap and friendly staff.

Out back, very spacious dining area, great for families and groups. Food is excellent.

Cosy pub, great vibes, pet friendly and the cauliflower burger can be veganised. Chips were fresh and crispy. I'd come back!

Nice pub with lots of space in the back to relax with family/friends for a meal, and plenty of atmosphere in the front to have a drink (or eat and chat, if you don't mind yelling over the ever-so-excited sports observers, that is).

I often come here to catch up with family, and end up leaving wishing I still lived in the area.

Great gastro-pub. There isn't really a restaurant-y bit that I could see, so the ambiance is definitely going to be "pub", but it's a lovely set of spaces with good food and a good beer selection. If I lived in Stanmore, I'd be extremely happy to have this pub as my "local."

Thank you for our time there on Saturday 4th June. We enjoyed our friends birthday at lunchtime. Welcoming atmosphere in a section set aside for us. Thank you also for the hot snacks. Delicious. Nice beers as well, although no mid or light beer at the back bar.

The Salisbury is a great pub - the food, drink and space (indoors and outdoors) are really good. And all of the staff are fantastic. I go there a fair bit as it's very local for me; and my family also recently booked part of it for a big event (70 guests) and I just wanted to say how great the Salisbury team looked after us for that. We had finger-food catering which was fantastic and we ran a bar tab which was handled really well by all the staff. Highly recommend!

Both the food and the vibe at the Salisbury is great. We sat out in the beer garden (which is dog friendly) but they've got tonnes of seating options throughout - indoor tables or booths, outdoor high tables under a big vaulted roof covered in party lights, or totally outside in the garden around the old KB truck (which acts as another big table, tree feature and entertainment for kids!) Honestly it's just a great local pub, would definitely recommend and will totally be back!

Great food and atmosphere. Friendly staff. Family friendly, dogs allowed outside. Always sport on but not to invasive if you want to chat.

Decent selection of beers. Got a burger, which came quickly and was tasty. Great little beer garden with a centrepiece of an old truck that kids were clambering all over, which was cool.

Visited to see country live music. Had a cool drink and a fresh meal. Liked the historic fire engine as bar in the garden. Beautifully renovated pub.

Good food. Generous serves. My steak was perfect. Just wish they had a sauce to go with the steak that was gluten free. Drag show on that Wednesday night looked fun. Wasn't able to stay and watch.

Such a great local bar! Awesome venue layout and Management. The courtyard is lovely, pretty busy on a Friday after work but full of great people. Food is lovely, usual inner west menu and prices. If you're in the neighbourhood I recommend swinging by for a drink and one of their pies with mash and peas!!!

What was once a very dull and average pub has been transformed into something very good thanks to some work from the management. Food is tasty and good value, beer choice is wide and they have lots on during the week. Would of been 5 stars but minus 1 for having poker machines and contributing to the malaise of Sydney culture though the horrible [---] rooms.

Cool venue. The staff are pretty friendly. And the band was in an ideal spot for being seen but not much of a dance floor... Which is imperative for a danceaholic like me. We made do, but a dedicated space with a decent floor would be welcome.

$8 for a schooner of Carlton , at least learn how to pour a beer properly if you expect people to pay that! Food was overpriced and small portions. Cheap McCain's shoestring fries advertised as buttermilk chips and chicken Kiev was small and undercooked. Not sure if the barmaid Sarah was having an off day or if she is always rude. The PI (Petersham Inn) is far better value for money and a much better atmosphere.

Where is the Salisbury Hotel? I haven't been to any hotel in years.
In 1950, the Club House Hotel in Yass NSW had great stables for your horse.

Enjoyed this place a lot. So glad we got there early too (just after 12). Food was lovely and drinks were reasonably priced. Pleasantly surprised that dogs are allowed in the outdoor eating area. Started to get busy at about 1pm. Comfortable place to eat lunch. Staff a very friendly and attentive.

A great pub with a good variety of beverages available in terms of both beers on tap and wine selection . Probably one of the best aspects of the pub is the staff who are really friendly and helpful whilst not being too in-your-face about service or trendy Inner West nonchalance. Very close to Stanmore station , so the convenience is great. I came down here with some of my friends that have down syndrome and it was also great that the crowd was really positive to interact with them. There's a nice garden area as well, on a sunny day would be nice to sit out there and have a few drinks.

I just went to use the public toilet and it was very clean.

I ordered a steak medium and it came to the table well done+. Brown inside and dry. For $32 I wont be going back. The pub itself is pretty boring and lacking any atmosphere.

Food is pretty good. Quite nice fitout but lacking a little bit in personality. They lost my food order even though it was a quiet night and it took forever!
