Staff are amazing! 2 young guys behind the bar seem to be performing a comedy duo act all night! Great to talk with and get drink advice from.
Food is good, nothing to phone home about :)

Have been here a few times but vouch to never return. The manager is usually pretty rude and they never take on the day booking. But what's worse is when we called to book, instead of letting us know the dining area is closed for renovation they just told us to rock up and hope we get a spot. It's just terrible service. They do allow dogs inside which is a bonus for colder days but I wouldn't go there for the terrible customer service.

Have to say the food last night was the best I've ever seen it at this hotel. As a local I've avoided eating here just from previous experiences but with the state of origin on last night we had a group at a table and a quick meal before the game .. and it was really really good. The chili pork was spectacular and the scotch fillet was not far behind it. Well done guys .. I'm back!

The last time I was here for lunch it was the worst but things are better now.
The chicken was good and the tomato base was also good. No ham on it.
The cheese was done well and it was topped with parmigiana which gave it good depth of flavour.
The chips were okay not a great deal of them though.
The coleslaw was good ,it was fresh unlike last time. A nice dressing on it with a hint of mustard seed in it.
Three and a half plates cleaned.

I took my wife and son to the Sackville for Mother's Day lunch yesterday. Very nice set up out the back in the restaurant. The food was great, service warm, friendly and professional. Highly recommend and will definitely be back.

Reliable pub, always clean and airy, food is consistently good and beer always seems fresh. There is also an associated drive thru bottle shop next door which is handy.

One small niggle, serving steak in a plate that resembles a bowl makes cutting it a little challenging ?

Look the beer is cold... I had 2 Balters... $9.20each then realised it's the beer of the month... I'm in luck... I checked the website... yep it's on special for the whole month... woohoo cheaper beer!

I asked the waitress before ordering my next one... "oh we are just promoting it for the month, nope it's not cheaper"... so I guess it's a beer of every month ?

A very nice restaurant but the prices are high and the portions are low. Don't go here if you're hungry and don't come if you're on a budget. But do come here if you want very good quality food and don't wanna go very from this exact location it will do in a pinch.

My friends and I had the BEST time yesterday for Melbourne Cup! The table and venue was beautifully decorated, food and cocktails delicious, friendly service, betting facilities onsite and all very Covid safe - we really couldn't ask for more! Looking forward to being back again next year! Thank you team Sackville

Well Sackville Hotel in Rozelle have certainly upped their sour beer & cocktail game since my last visit. After proving to NSW Police Force I was from Inner West Council and not violating public health orders for "freedom", I stocked up on both.

Started off the afternoon pandemic drinking with the Hope Estate brewery's Pink Grapefruit Imperial Sour. It's got a Warhead-like sharpness that works as an appetite inducing aperitif. Moved on to the Killer Beez, a Patrón Tequila, Mezcal and habanero-based cocktail that is meant to be served with a chilli salt rim. It's well balanced and very smoky with quite a decent kick. We've now got better drinking at home through pandemics well in hand.

Great local pub with a good selection of beers on taps. Have tried a different meal on every visit and each is better than the last. You MUST go to the bottleshop next door, such a niche range of rare craft beer and wine.

Great little local to catch up at for pub meals. Clean and service is reasonable.

Had the best steak at The Sackville Hotel the other night, it was cooked perfectly! Service was great as always, will be back again soon without a doubt!

Pretty good in relations to other sacks I know.good is excellent but I think they need to employ more people who know how to make Baklava as it's always sold out...

The front is your typical boozy pub but out the back has a nice bar area with high skylight ceilings, plants and modern art. Food is great but as a local I wish they updated it at least seasonally as I've eaten all of it but can't complain about the food or service.

I dropped in for dinner. There was a small mistake with my order, and the staff almost had a spider-sense that something was up (that's service!). They sorted it out and the burger & chips was worth the wait! (the proportions were so if you ate the lot you won't feel sick, and everything was cooked just the right amount, even the chips had optimal crispiness :) ).
If you want to know more than what I ate, the pub is positioned amongst a cluster of restaurants, so feels part of a dining community. There's a good lively but not overwhelming ambience. Even the front door security were friendly. No weird smells or sterile / bland interior.
If I can find more time to get out, I will be back :)

Bought a can of stout today from Bottle shop, got 400mtr away and it came straight threw the bag splitting open. Went back explained what happened and had to pay again.They tried to single bag again and I had to request 2 bags. Overall paperbags are not fit for use, Sackville sold 2 cans but lost a customer-poor effort.

Had their Sunday Roast last month and it was delicious - one of the best in Sydney! Tried to book in again for another roast but found out they've switched to their summer menu so no more roast till next year! We'll definitely be back though :)

Good range of taps and always popular. Food has been hit and miss across multiple visits. Never bad but rarely better than ok also. Its a pub I guess but always hope for more.

New restaurant looks great, good for smaller outings and large groups. Food is delicious and has a lot of good vegetarian options which is refreshing. Bar staff are attentive and have a good knowledge of specials and matching drinks.

The pubs have reopened and the staff here were very accommodating. We were happy to wait as we were a group of 7, and the manager was eventually able to make room for us even though we were walk ins. Great service!!
