I don't normally leave negative reviews, however I received poor customer service from the lady at the restaurant counter. It's a shame as I was recommended to try the food here. Please be more polite to your customers.

Rude, aggressive manager, Antoinette which spoilt our whole evening. A full table of 14 of us- 4 generations from 6 to 93 years of age. No hospitality or kindness whatsoever. The cashier made a mistake with one of our child's meal on ordering. We clarified it and she went into the kitchen and guaranteed us it had been fixed. The wrong dish arrived and we explained what had happened. The manager came over and said the kitchen was too busy and that we would have to just have the wrong dish (tell that to my hungry 8 year old!!). My partner just paid for another dish as she would not exchange/ refund the incorrect dish. I asked for a refund which she refused and during the heated discussion my children watched over anxious and upset at both of their parents in discussion with management over a dish. We would have spent over 00 as a table and she couldn't refund/ exchange a dish!! My kids were really upset and just wanted to go home but we had to wait 20 mins for the rest of our mains to arrive which I really couldn't enjoy due to the bad taste in my mouth and the pit in my belly from my children being traumatised.

The restaurant, where do I start, it was quiet and it took 5 minutes to get seated.
All of the meals came out at seperate times my steak was so salty I could barly eat it I ordered medium rare and it was pretty much blue cold and raw my partner got a medium steak and it was over cooked the burger came out after the kids had eaten and we had finished our steaks.
They were only serving drinks from the pokies side luckily we had 2 adults but our 3 year old didn't understand why she wasnt allowed to stand next to her dad while he ordered the drinks all non alchaholic.

Everything about this was lacking I'm a local and I will never go back to rye hotel for a meal.

Just stop by for lunch at the rye hotel. The location was beautiful but the food was really very bad . The oil which was used for frying was very dirty because i could taste in the food. The spicy margarita was not even drinkable. They didnt even knew how to actually make a cocktail properly. They were not using any measurer. The ingredients were coming straight out of the bottles. Very bad experience. After a while of eating that food my parents felt sick in their stomaches. Never coming back.

Hands down the BEST Chicken Parma I've had!! So fresh and the veggies were cooked to perfection. Service was fast and friendly. Anytime I'm in Rye I make a point of having a meal here.
