Great hotel with fabulous food and atmosphere ??'? Plenty of big screens to watch your favourite sporting team!

Had the worst pub feed of my life here. Burned yet frozen barra (allegedly), thrown on a mass of chunky mashed potato, paired with overcooked carrot with undercooked broccoli, both flavoured with what I can only assume was spray and wipe. Inedible, potentially toxic, and absolutely a waste of $28.

We had a private function on Saturday night. The function was upstairs and we had our own private area that spilled out to the balcony plus our own bar and facilities. A very good set up.
The staff were excellent. Very friendly.
The food we selected was great. The beers were too. I have no hesitation in recommending the hotel and its function room. Thank you to Tom, Greta and team.

Nice pub in Thirroul , Icy cold beers. Had a chicken burger which was ok, i have had better.
Accomodation upstairs is undergoing some improvements with updated bathroom.
One of our party had his room cancelled accidently, whuch resulted in him beung put in my room on a trundle bed.
I would go back and use this pub again.

Good place to stay, reasonably priced, had dinner in the Hotel Sunday night and it was excellent, will stay there again. Cheers.

Came for Mondays 2 for 1.

Medium rare steak was very overcooked.
Took it back to let them know, and was informed by the chef that "it might looked overcooked but it's medium rare in the middle". It wasn't, Pretty disappointing.

Otherwise food is delicious. Sweet potato fries serving is huge and great!

Great for family feeds in downstairs resturant with generous servings, left on counter top when your buzzer goes off for you to collect. Children ok good family venue Closes at 8.30, usually easy to get in bookings not usually required and usual public facilities available. Don't know about rooms have not needed them living nearby.

only have 1 vegan option but it was average. needs guacamole at the very least. Menu is one dimensional, eg the other veg option was "vegan salad" ?

Be good to have a vegan snitz/Parma with chips on the menu. Maybe then I'd go back....

I don't know the rooms because I always go to buy food! The food is always delicious and made with care! the kitchen chef girl is also very friendly and serves us with great affection! Plus, they have the best price in the area!

Their vegan salad, it not a vegan salad. If you want a legit whole bowl of wedges sprinkled with some flavourless vegetables, go for it. This will be my sleep paralysis demon.

Friendly staff, nice meals(big meals) but the menu is limited, they have cocktails also & the Tommy's margarita? is lovely.

Drinks & food are averidge price with a great variety, entertainment is good&free(Mostly). Staff is efficient and friendly except for the drongo Sociopathic "security" on weekends who spend most of the time perving on women at the pool tables or in beer garden when not looking for a fight to pick.

Old pub with lots of space and two bar access areas. I went to dance. The dance floor isn't very big but is still good once the shoes warm up (a bit grippy to start) but it would be better if there was more air flow through the dance floor. Several entry points and if you have mobility assistance I recommend coming in the back way as it's flat and wide. Nice old pub feel and friendly staff.

Great little spot with country charm close to all the action. Plenty of beers on tap and all the spirits you could ever need.

Great size meals, perfectly cooked steak and yes a place that finally gives you a decent serving of sauce on the side. The soft tacos with the chicken were delicious and also a great sized serving, staff were pleasant.

I don't know what happened to the music players that used to come on open mic nights, but anyway... food is awesome and consistent ???'?, front of house is great! Awesome pool tables, great atmosphere!

Just a classic good Aussie coastal pub. Excellent food, great beers, good times. ANNNDD they have pool tables!!! Awesome!!!

Staff really friendly and helpful. Good beer but the burgers we all had were really overcooked. I reckon they had been made in batches earlier in the day, then left to dry out, before being put back on the grill to harden up more prior to serving. However, in mitigation there was only one poor overworked chef in the kitchen, so he probably didn't have much option.
The rest of the food was good, fresh buns and nice toppings for the burgers, and excellent chips, both the sweet potato and normal varieties.

Good priced drinks, good vibes, honestly go there to play pool with my mates most of the time but can't beat it

Amazing southern fried chicken burger. Stayed the night, clean and simple rooms, everything you need. Great location.

My partner and I visited from the central coast. This was the best schnitzel we have ever had! And the atmosphere was great. Highly recommend!

Enjoying being back at the Ryans - great food and pleasant surrounds. Very friendly.

It was our first visit to this establishment. The ambience was fantastic. The food also excellent. Unfortunately our visit was spoiled by the Staff. It seemed to me that we were an inconvenience. Most of the bar staff were rude and disinterested in service, this was very disappointing. I will return one day and hope for different bar Staff.

Great value bistro. Pulled pork, sweet potato fries and coleslaw made for an excellent meal.

Great food with large meals & selections available with bar meals down stairs & pizzeria & weekend cocktail bar upstairs. Family friendly bistro, huge selection of tap beers, very friendly staff & the open mic held on Thursday nights showcases some extremely amazing local (& surrounds) talent with a very welcoming crowd. weekend live music is always of high quality... Highly recommend this place as one of the northern Wollongong suburbs premier venues without doubt
