Great atmosphere. Love the outdoor seating at the front. So many interesting people. Great Mardi gras week drink specials. The 2 cocktails I tried were delicious. Every drink gets you a ticket for the raffle on Thursday - prizes include a meat tray, veggie tray and fruit tray. All the staff were friendly and attentive.

This place didn't allow me to smoke marijuana, but allowed locals do coca or iceà there. So coca is allowed, but not green. Welcome to the crackheads house. Then the worker, they called him Mexican, he asked me to leave and his friend grabbed my hat and threw it on the floor. So crackhead was allowed to smoke coca and stay in there and be aggressive, but me as a stranger first time in there..first I thought it was cool place but then crackhead was attacking me and they allowed her to attack me. [Probably owners friend]. The crackhead was older lady trying to flirt with me and asked me to protect her. But nobody was attacking her. Then she told to the guys around the table that I was standing up for her as a woman and I didn't like the way how guys talked to her. Which is not true. She asked me if I can do that, I replied I can do it when it happens again, but will not say it to their friends now as it's none of my business. Then she started telling this until I said them, that it's not true. I never stood up for her. After that she went crazy. Grabbed my hat. What can I say. And then they kicked me out. Well. It's a crackhead house. So be careful, next time the crackhead will stabb you. I warn not to go there. Dangerous, very dangerous place

Great place for you and your mates to chill and enjoy a drink. Riley - the Ryan Gosling looking bartender - is particularly good - always smiling, knows the locals and how to make a superb cocktail and pour a beer. :) Come in and say hello.

The tall skinny short black haired bar manager social profiled me , I walked in to order a drink and he said I got into an argument with someone outside on my way home from trivia the week before, so he barred me ? how ridiculous ! No questions about what happened or maybe someone was obknoxious and rude to me on my way home ( but this manager seems to have a victim mentality and I guess being obknoxious and rude is ok If he's sending it ??) but anyway he made up things, saying everyone complained about me which was a lie, on trivia night I gave up my table to a group and sat on a bar stool minding my own business except for one gentleman who we won a packet of Tim tams together! But whatever people like this shouldn't work in bars ,they are so over sensitive and a little power goes to their heads, it's just facts that Sydney has some of the worst bars and service in the world because of the arrogance and over policing of the venues from some of the people that work in venues in Sydney , these people just simply aren't bar people and shouldn't be working in bars .It's why so many people just don't bother going out anymore.Sydney is one of the most spectacular cities on the planet , but go walk around the city and it's like a ghost town a lot of nights ,and alot of it is the arrogance and bad service in venues from people like this ,I'm sure if this gentleman was social profiled he would carry on like the biggest Karen ??? but I'm actually glad he showed me his tru colours , knowone wants to drink at a bar run by a snowflake with a victim mentality . . . . . .

A small bar with a small upstairs open seating area with a second bar which wasn't open during our visit & also with tables out on the footpath as well. It also has a bottle shop. We were there on a Saturday from midday.

We ordered some Nachos from the menu but they were not available so we got corn chips with a small bowl of salsa sauce which was pretty ordinary. Was also hoping for some cider on tap but had to settle for cans instead. The bar is also dog friendly.

Parking is not easy around here & is all paid ticketed parking as well

Love this place. Just a great small local pub with a good energy. Real inclusive and friendly - dogs also welcome. Great non alcoholic options and food delivered from nearby takeout joints. Rooftop Bar works for group bookings.

Stayed there for 6 nights, very clean, comfortable staff were very nice. Had to share bathroom but there were 3 of them and I knew that when I booked so it was not a problem. Very close to King's Cross station which was excellent for getting around. All in all very good and I would stay there again. Thanks

Nice bar, nice drinks and nice spot. Dog friendly and people watching a plus. Enjoyed the DJ too. I just wanted to offer a little feedback that it seems a bit of a shame that at 12 o'clock on the DOT you are asked to leave, whether you have a little bit of a drink left or not. There was nothing rude about the security man or the staff, I don't mean it terribly but it really is somewhat unwelcoming to be unceremoniously booted from a venue and glasses of half full booze taken away from in front of you..... like I said no-one was unfriendly but it definitely put a bit of a dampener on the night, when half an hour would have been all that was needed to finish the drinks in a nice way.

Great place. Staff was super nice and friendly. Had jokes coming in all night long. Had a friend's birthday party here. Nice smoking zone on rooftop. Other than rain making everything wet was super fun. We ordered a veg pizza as well which was delicious ?

Great local watering hole. We have to hang on to this place after the Green Park went by the wayside...thanks to St Vincent's Hospital. The Darlinghurst Road frontage is also lined with outdoor tables which catch the afternoon sun. But does the music really need to be soooo..... verrrry..... LOUD? At least you might be able escape to one of the out door tables!

Easy going bar for a reasonable prices (pint of beer under 10 dollars). Good crowd, great & shady beer garden upstairs, DJs on some days and some special events. All over good pub to have a one (or more ?) drink with friends.

Only negative was that I could only get a cheese toasty or platter. No other meals until 16:00.

Nice traditional bar with outdoor seating and most importantly they're dog friendly

Asked to leave over a misinterpretation. We were a group of 15. Having a quiet drink. A comment was taken the wrong way, and without an opportunity to make right, we were asked to leave. Won't go back there again for the sake of being pushed out for no real reason.

Dropped in to the historic Darlo the other day for a beer. It has a really great local feel, with a selection of eclectic locals making it their local drinking hole. The pub has a nice representation of its history. The service was great. This is a must visit and I will be back.

It's a standard bar in the area. Quite good drinks and surroundings. Visited during the most recent COVID concern. Our group was completely onto checking in. A staff member was quite unpleasant, literally standing over people (and breaching distancing guidelines) opening their check in on phones. Seemed to incorrectly assume everyone is doing the wrong thing rather than cooperating as we were. Staff need communication training.

This place is loud. And I don't mean the people, I mean the music. Something that is fully within the venues control.

It was so loud that the bar staff and us while ordering had to ask each other to repeat our self multiple times. And it was 6pm on a Thursday night...

They did have the NFC / QR table ordering at tables which we found out after we ordered. But you still couldn't hold a conversation with someone.

I'll judge my return on if I can hear the venue from a block or way next time or not

Sad cheese board. Crackers were the exact smell of cardboard.
Music was so loud it drowns out the taste.
Friends left. Drinks refunded.
