Took family of 7 for my daughters 20th for our first dine with the new chef and OMG food was absolutely spot on. Well done guys definitely coming back for more and one of my favourite places.

Food very good. Views even better. Come for a late lunch and hang around for the afternoon to light up the houses on the other side of the bay. Absolutely gorgeous

Went to the RYMC for the first time in years. Not sure what has happened to this place. After we finally made it past the lady with attitude at the reception desk, we ordered our $90 seafood platter at 7:30pm, something that barely resembled food came to our table at 9:00pm. We could n't eat it so we just left. Understand it was busy !! but this was next level.

Went there with 10 people on Sunday great location unfortunately the food was very expensive and very disappointing not one of us had a good meal.
Food used to be very good but has gone down hill won't eat their again.

Went to the motorboat club for the first time in years today. I have to say the atmosphere was cracking and the location can't be beat.
Things were going great until I decided to order dinner.

Perusing the menu there were some great options. Feeling the need to treat myself I decided to order the lamb shank curry for $40, one of the most expensive items.

When the food buzzer rang I was excited, I walked up to the kitchen to collect the curry. On arrival I immediately thought there must be a mistake. It looked like something from the snack menu, the lamb shank curry was small, basic and overall uninspired. I pleaded with the kitchen staff, why had they delivered me a snack menu curry when I clearly ordered a main. To my shock the kitchen staff informed me that the meal before me was the main menu lamb shank Curry valued at $40. To say I was rattled is an understatement.

When I returned to the table my friends broke into pitiful laughter at the thought I had paid $40 for such an insignificant meal. I consumed the Curry in approximately 14 seconds. Fortunately I was at the club with a strong group of friends who prevented me starving to death by pitying me with slices of their substantial pizzas. I was desperately grateful.

I left club with my good day in tatters.
The club needs to really think about deceiving customers with such an expensive yet insignificant main meal.

Great location but food average. Last night my partner who is a member ordered seafood linginue. It was smothered in parmesan cheese which a no no in serving typical Italian seafood cuisine. It overpowered the seafood which was plenty lean on the bug was tasteless and seafood was no existent 1 prawn. Not acceptable for the price. If I wanted cheese it should be served on the side not on the dish.

Went there for an 80th birthday party. The atmosphere and location is fantastic, the food was great, but the service was very ordinary. The staff were oblivious to the fact that they are there to serve customers. They stood talking while people were waiting to be served, and when you said excuse me, they gave filthy looks like we were interrupting them and their time. Terrible service. Invest in some training.

10/10 for venue and location.
However, receptionist, table and bar staff wishing they where elsewhere.
Table was reserved, however we weren't shown to it,
so we sat at another table, which was dirty.. . Salt,pepper, crumbs, dressing everywhere. Staff preferred to chat than serve. Receptionist was particularly surly and unpleasant. Maybe we caught you all on a bad day.. but it felt as though you were doing us a favour by letting us chose your venue. Not a great experience.

The word Royal in the name of this place holds as much weight as Prince Andrew . If the queen was still live, and she went to this place for dined and witnessed the lack of care she would've probably hoped she died earlier. I was there on the 27th /12/22 .. Obviously, someone flipped a coin to pick the person that was in charge and heads fell in favour of some young hipster with a moustache and a bad attitude that lead his team with a who cares attitude that he probably text to them, because he's a millennial . I don't care if there was a lack of staff. There was about 10 tables that were covered in the filth that had been left there by the last customer and I ran a stop watch and it was somewhere between 30 minutes and one hour until it was clean . food orders were coming out, cold and wrong all across the restaurant as we " the customers " all gave one another a confused, unfulfilled looks .

Here's the hot tip -lose the word Royal and just call it a pub or a Tavern, where the view will always make up for everything else you must endure ..!

Had dinner here last night, and am currently in bed with food poisoning from the fish and chips. This will be the last time I eat here. I've been quite a few times, but the quality isn't great, and some meals (like the salmon) are really too expensive for what you get ($38).

If you're a vegetarian, good luck to you! I eat fish, and there aren't many options on the menu available for me. This is the first place I've visited in a long time that has 4 different meat (non-fish) options for burgers, but no vegetarian burger.

It's a nice setting, but this place needs to modernise a bit, and improve their food offering.

A fantastic place for a stunning view and the food is delicious and high quality. Great bar too. Be sure to make a reso to sit by the window.

Absolutely beautiful food, service and the water views amazing. Very relaxing. The sticky pork dumplings were absolutely amazing. Enjoyed a very delicious lunch with beautiful family. The weather was just perfect and made the great day even greater.

A great location, overlooking the Burraner Bay Marina with the tranquil waters of Gunnamatta Bay lapping the pretty, sandy foreshore of Cronulla in the background.
A great way to catch up with a coffee, all capped off with a delicious lunch....quality food at affordable prices served with a friendly smile from the excellent attentive staff!

Bit over rated. Expensive and decor not what I would call xomfortable. Best thing was view. On day I went staff limited and fish was very dry inside batter. No rushing to go back.

A great venue for Sunday arvo drinks. It can be quite busy with private functions so booking a table is a great idea, live music is awesome with max playing the times we have been there always a crowd favourite, thanks for a great Sunday

Airy medium size venue restaurant open windows doors mesmerizing view of yachts..small backyard but Anzac service was endearing under big striped umbrella s..food bit pricy.

Used to love this place & food was always great. Go downhill since change of bistro & food is average & bristo staff extremely rude.

Great place to spend a few hours or more with friends eating, drinking and solving the world's problems.

Great bistro with awesome views the rib eye steak I had was nice and tender the mash was nice how ever the red wine jus was on the sweet side, which for me I was not wowed by it. But I would still recommend this place .

The Club was very clean, staff were very friendly and the food was exquisite. The singer who was performing just after midday on Saturday 21/10/20 was terrific and really helped complete the atmosphere, would highly recommend.

Took my mother their for lunch, from the time you walk through the front the friendly atmosphere is apparent.We both had the fish 1 grilled & 1 fried, sensational is an understatement, grilled to perfection and mine was faultless.The oil was clean so it tasted great, salad was fresh and crisp, chips were spot on. Kitchen and bar staff we friendly and chatty, place was spotless.I'm going back on a Saturday for a drink and punt in the new downstairs sports bar.Buy the way, the view is to die for!!!!!!!!!!

Seemed like a good place to go for Sunday lunch. A small menu but a good variety. Surprisingly not a lot of seafood on the menu for a yacht club. A nice atmosphere with water front views. The food was ok and reasonably priced.
