Amazing location and stunning new fitout. Horrible food and not very good service. It's a shame because the place could be so good. It's the same old problem with businesses on the Sunshine Coast and Noosa, they never get the food right. The whole family felt sick all day from it. Filled with cheap seed oils and everything deep fried and oily. You could tell as soon as the food hit the table. There is a great kids playground so if the food was good we would go back every weekend. But unfortunately we can't because it's literally inedible for us being so full of bad ingredients.

My advice if you do want to try it is just order the things that are oven cooked like lamb or steak and ask them not to use oil at all. Don't order the mushrooms as they are cooked in some sort of gross oil and thick battered substance. The fish was disgustingly oily too. Even the bug rolls were horrible.

We were greeted with a warm smile and served by a confident young lady when we came in for lunch. I believe her name was Gabby, and she was excellent. Her customer service skills were outstanding, and she consistently made sure we were comfortable and enjoying our visit to The Royal.

We had a small issue with one of our kids' meals, and Gabby handled it efficiently and professionally without making a big deal out of it. A big shout-out to Gabby and the entire Royal Mail team for their exceptional service.

Had Lunch here. Food was great and so were staff. Special mention to Dylan S who served us and was extremely polite and accommodating to our needs in the bistro. Finn R I believe was the one behind the bar and he was also great and polite. Both these staff members made the experience 10X better and I will definitely be returning soon because of their actions. Would definitely recommend.

Had dinner at the newly renovated Royal Mail hotel. The place was packed, especially considering it was a Tuesday evening - make sure you book.
Despite how busy it was, our meals came out quickly. The entrees and mains were lovely. Our group of 4 tried to order a variety of dishes - mushroom dish and sardine dish for entree and the barramundi, prawn pappardelle, lamb backstrap and chicken schnitzel for mains. All were great - very flavoursome. We also ordered 3 of the 4 desserts on offer.
Cons:
Had to pay extra for some gravy with the schnitty. Our table was uncomfortably close to the next table and we had to move it.
The desserts were pretty bad - don't bother.
Pros:
The entrees and mains were really good.
There was a great selection of wine.
The staff were responsive and attentive.
The location is great.

We will be going back to try out the live music nights - this updated venue is a fantastic and much needed addition to Tewantin.

The new fitout has jettisoned this place to a must-visit landmark in Noosa. The massive beer garden is beautiful and breezy with views of the river. The food was nothing short of incredible! So fresh and tasty, highly recommend the wood fired pizzas or the seafood. Indoors the service was warm and personal, they had great coffee and a senior\'s menu. There are so many little spots with views of the river that would be perfect for a family lunch. The place was very kid friendly but the playground is not open for another couple of weeks.

The sports bar had wall to wall T.Vs, I can only imagine the energy in there during a big footy game. The pokies were also freshly renovated with lots of different machines to try.

The motel rooms were spotless and spacious. Had all the amenities including robes and hairdryer. You set your own pin code to your door so you don\'t have to worry about carrying around a keycard.

Every aspect of the decore, service and experience was top-tier, I can\'t wait to come back!
