My crumbed veal schnitzel - crumb was way overcooked but was manageable with mushroom sauce - that was delicious!
Service was quite slow considering it wasn't very busy.
Quite overpriced for a pub.

Salt and pepper squid was amazing .
Cheeseburger went down a treat .
And the hot chips omg better than any fish shop chips.

Honestly food wasn't great, staff were pretty useless. Considering they're constantly hiring they must be putting people with zero work ethic on. Such a shame. Should be hiring more energetic people who have the drive to work there

My girl and I had lunch at the Royal Inn was absolutely cooked beautifully and salads were so fresh highly recommend the food and was great value for money will definitely eat there again also staff were friendly.

We were there for an end of year committee dinner and the food and service were exceptional. Not your normal pub grub so a little more expensive but worth every cent due to the exceptional quality.

Had dinner on a Thursday night with the misso, grabbed 2 pizzas due to it being the special. On both pizzas all toppings, and I mean all toppings on every single slice of both pizzas both slid straight off the second you picked them up. May aswell just get a coles pizza or have a bbq sauce sandwich. Definitely not worth $15 dollars and that's the cheap night.

This is a hidden gem for lunch or dinner. The menu is huge, and the food is amazing. Do yourself a favour and try it out. You will not be disappointed.

The Royal Inn is located at 61 Station Street Waratah. The Royal Inn has gone under a lot of renovations over the years and looks great.
The pub itself is spacious and has great bar areas and are well stocked, with a poker machine area, TAB, and pool table.
The dining room area is dine in and takeaway no deliveries. The menu has a great selection of items, daily specials and eating challenges all at great prices. The atmosphere is relaxed and the staff are friendly, polite and efficient.

Well we had never venture to this pub as we have lived in the are for 6 years and I was very impressed with the friendly bar staff. We have been again and the food is very nice, great size meal if your hungry I had crumbed pork chop with chips and salad . I would definitely recommend you try this pub to the staff here keep up the good work this is why they come back.

All in all, pretty good because no signs of mac but bad because no obvious signs hailing Bill Gates and Sundar Pichai I have to bring it down a star.

Renovation has not changed the original friendly service and great meals you can see prepared from the open kitchen. Many blackboard choices and menu selections.
Will have get back more often.

Attempted the parmy eating challenge today. This is not a small plate. It is as wide as my body. It cost $35 and even if you lose the challenge it is way worth it just for the price! All the staff had smiles except the chef. He was a little short in responses but I guess that's because it was just him and he was busy. I will definitely go back there..

Great place to have a meal, relaxing atmosphere and lovely food, I recommend the roast of the day with veggies and gravy for a low $15. Taste was sensational and I most definitely will be returning at another time to enjoy another plate of food. All round a great pub with a great kid friendly bistro/restaurant. There's a pool table in the smokers area, a room full of late model poker machines and a good size bar area aswell as the bistro. The staff are friendly and the patrons are aswell. I'd recommend anyone would have a good time at the Royal Inn at Waratah.

Normally a 5 but todays food was a bit off the mark! steak was dry even tho cooked medium? Gravy watered to the max, no dressing on salad that made half the plate. Cheap but yea pick ya days I guess

Fan of this place, not only is it my local, it's really good. Unlike another Waratah pub... Liking the food and the daily specials are yum. Sitting here typing this on a Sunday, about to enjoy a $12 roast. Beer on tap is a bit limited, mostly mainstream, I go the James Squires. Will be back! Want to sample more from the menu...
